What is it and what's is it worth? My dad gave me this thing and I think he called it a Siamese 98. I'm not sure if I want to try and build something with it or just get rid of it. I'm not really in to these old rifles, but if I could make it shoot sub-moa, I might give it a try. Lol Fwiw... He has built 2 rifles off this action I believe. One has a heavy barrel in 30-06 and the other has a HUGE heavy target barrel chambered in 45-70 Govt. Both have long Unertl scopes on them that have an external spring. I'll have to get pictures of them if I can talk him in to pulling them out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Tested the AK Pistol with flash hider off. It was so fun, my wife asked me to not put it back on. Lol With the Manticore flash hider you recommended, it eliminated the flash. I was shocked how well it worked! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Nice work on the FJ! And that Ferrari, whatever they call that color, is beautiful!

Very nice to see more jobs coming to TN! Especially those from the guns, ammo, and military munitions industry.

I grew up in that situation. My Mom nearly hated guns. My Dad grew up loving them and has a real sickness for collecting pistols. She would get so pissed every time he brought a new gun home, and that was very often. :biglol:
-
My wife would not be at home while I go shooting, especially FA. She loves guns. One time, when I first got my 50 BMG, she hadn't got much sleep because class and homework at college. I started pulling out the 50 and all the other junk trying not to wake her because I knew she was exhausted. Well, she woke up, seen I was going shooting without her and got upset! Lol She was like, you're going shooting the 50 without me? Oh heck no! It was the first time firing the 50 new, so that made it worse. She was like, don't ever think I don't want to go shooting with you. My look was like :stare: I found a good one!

Clinton suggests she'd consider mandatory gun buy-backs

Not saying our system is bad, either. Agree its not perfect... Activist SCOTUS are a real problem now. Not interpreting the Constitution as originally intended is dangerous. The system didn't work with the Affordable Care Act... Argued as a tax, but is a fine, etc. Then, 2A.... Shall not be infrined, but law abiding folks had post 1986 MG's banned and the NFA taxes our right to some 2A items. Can we get a free speech registry for offensive words and a $200 tax on offensive language please? smh -

Any of you ever use this rail on your AK? https://rapidfiretek.com/product/m92-hand-guard-custom-machined-quad-rail/ Good, bad?
-
They have a list on Adams Arms website, but they fail to list in detail, if the gas block only fits outside the rail or also inside, etc. For instance, obviously a 7in rail on a carbine gas system places the gas block in front of the rail. They will put, works with their gas piston system. However, my gas system is pistol length, so while that rail might work on a carbine, it still might not work on a pistol length gas system because the gas block would be inside the rail. So I've bee left Googling for info and searching forums for weeks....
-
Problem is, that barrel nut looks a bit too big. This piston system needs a mil-spec size barrel nut and I think it is something like .90 inches in depth.
-
Not sure which one yet, but I'm looking for maybe a 7.5 to 8 inch quad rail. It's got to clear the AA XLP gas block and the Noveske KX5, too.

Rest of the bolt parts came in off back order finally. Now to find a rail that fits.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Doubt I'll make it this year. I have always loved NMRA, especially the finals at beech Bend! The class I'd love to see in action is the Coyote stock class. Love seeing those stock coyote engines launched on the rev limiter, pulling the wheels and running 10's! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5LV1mN1dZnE -

Waffle House refuses service to Uniformed, armed soldier

Waffle House is gross anyway. I call it the greasy spoon. Haven't ate there in forever... If I go eat breakfast at a corporate chain, it's Cracker Barrel. -

All I'm saying is they're (5.0 GT) fun and powerful as is. They run 12.9-13.0 bone stock. Only reason to mod it beyond that is if you want bragging rights because you beat your friends stock Camaro SS or stock 5.0 GT. :D Trust me, I've been in the Mustang game since the 80's. I have owned a Mustang since the 90's and still own a GT now. Not much stock parts that came with my car are left aside from axle housing and a few other bits. I've done an entire motor swap, full bolt-ons and a auto to 5 speed swap, 3:73's, etc. I run 255's up from and 315's in the rear on FR500's. Don't worry though, it's still slow by today's standards. Technology advanced faster than my wallet could keep up. :( -

Really not much need to work on them anymore. The new GT's make 435hp and if you want more, bolt on a supercharger and call it a day. Heck the Ecoboost 4cyl is making close to what the Mach 1's made. The V6 is even close. If you're nervous about it, just buy a Mega lower like this marked "PISTOL" and might as well get a Mega upper because their fitment is excellent! http://www.rainierarms.com/mega-forged-lower-6200 http://www.rainierarms.com/upper-mega-forged-stripped-6857

Love my Colt LE 6920! Glad they got a contract. Would hate to see them go under!
