Yeah, I'm thinking it might not be worth fooling with this action. Not sure what to do with it at this point.

My Dad pulled this out today and said Harry made it for the 45-70 Govt. Let see who can guess what it's made to do. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Quality, fit and finish seemed excellent to me, but keep in mind this is my first AR build, so I only have factory AR's to compare it to. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm not sure about Williamson, but Davidson has a checklist for expungement here: http://ccc.nashville.gov/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/40-32-101g-Checklist-for-Expungement-Petition..pdf

Conditional Pleas and/or Pretrial Diversion/Intervention cases may qualify – if so, a $450.00 fee is required. All fines/court costs must be paid in full, including expungement fee (if applicable). Virginia to end reciprocity with 25 states
JohnC replied to Chucktshoes's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Since around Jan 15 or a little after. -
Most of these denials turn out to be records issues or identity problems such as someone with the same name that has a criminal record making them a prohibited person. Check your background and make sure everything is correct with status and disposition. You can visit the criminal court clerks office online where your arrest was and you should be able to see your records. You can also get a TBI background check on yourself for a $29 fee. If something is wrong, you can get them to correct it I assume. https://sci.ccc.nashville.gov/ http://judicialrecords.wilco.org/Search.aspx?ID=100 https://www.tn.gov/tbi/article/background-checks If all that checks out OK, then I guess your last resort is calling TBI.

States Recognizing TN Permits (Reciprocity) With Links
JohnC replied to JohnC's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
Looks like Virginia is revoking reciprocity with 25 states, including TN. :shake: http://virginiashootingsportsassociation.blogspot.com/2015/12/virginia-ag-ending-concealed-carry.html https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/virginia-politics/va-attorney-general-mark-herring-delivers-blow-to-gun-rights-advocates/2015/12/21/d72ce3d0-a821-11e5-9b92-dea7cd4b1a4d_story.html Updating list.... -
What's the story behind that?

It's all the luxury and technology they stuff in them. Add the fact that most of them now come with twin turbo V6's, 4 cam 32 valve V8's and have lots of HP. My advice. I'd keep that truck of yours as long as you can keep it going and it is safe. If your willing to keep it going, it'll save you money the longer you keep driving it.

Not the case. I bought my FN Five-seveN at Specialty Arms II and they had none.Hardly anyone carries Five-seveN mags locally.
-
Well, I like when I buy an FNH and it has 3 mags to start. Some mags are not as easy to find as PMAG's and Glock mags. Try finding FN Five-seveN mags in stock locally. That said, I like to load up all my mags before I go to the range because it saves me time from having to reload while at the range. It also get's me out of the lane faster so the next guy waiting can get to shoot sooner. ;)
-
They should all come with 3 IMHO.

Heads up about the owner of Shooter's Depot in Chattanooga
JohnC replied to Junkstack's topic in General Chat
Right. Didn't meant to get on the AW's. I just wanted to quickly make that point and move on. But my main point is, gun homicides are decreasing each year, so I expect the percentages in your statistics to reflect that. But we need a more recent report from say, 2010-2014 to see where we are now. The one you posted is from 1991-1997 and that doesn't accurately reflect where we are now I'd assume. -

Is there not a more current report on that? If we observe FBI crime statistics, gun related homicides are on the downward trend, so I'd expect these numbers by prisoners to also be smaller today than from 1991-1997 that the report shows. And what we need to take note of is how small the percentage was for this statistic: "Less than 2% of inmates reported carrying a fully automatic or military-style semiautomatic firearm." Now add the FBI statistics on "homicides by all rifles combined" and ask ourselves why they're working so hard to ban a class of firearms that are one of the least used weapons by criminals. https://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/ucr/crime-in-the-u.s/2014/crime-in-the-u.s.-2014/tables/expanded-homicide-data/expanded_homicide_data_table_8_murder_victims_by_weapon_2010-2014.xls -
