    Let's see your AR's

New picture I posted in another area.... you guys can right click save as and keep it for a background on your pc if you want.
  2. Judging by all the cities I've been in, we have plenty of cops at this time. If particular areas are a problem for speeders or redlight runners, they can move the traffic cops to those areas.
  3. Progressives love folks like you. First they get their foot in the door with giving cheaper tickets and not putting points on your record. But over time I will 100% bet you that law will change and it'll become the same as a cop writing the ticket. Anyone remember the movie DEMOLITION MAN? Remember those stupid things all over the place that when they even said a curse word and it would ticket them? Is that next?
  4. All the more reason to do away with them.
  5. Let me put it in more mainstream language and remove the politics for you guys. I would rather have a uniformed officer do the job rather than the camera. At least then, if there are no speeders he can also scan with his eyes for slow moving drunks, actual crime, etc. I don't really see traffic cameras as making anything more safe than a cop can. I respect law enforcement, not traffic cams. Better?
  6. Don't know why people fall for getting in to these silly distraction arguments. He needs to stay on the REAL issues! Obama has done SQUAT for us! He needs to bring up: jobs, the economy, US Debt, devaluing US Dollar, Credit rating, The two extra wars like Libya, failed crony capitalism via green energies (Solyndra, etc). Obama foreign policy has helped the Muslim Brotherhood gain power in Egypt and Libya as well.
  7. More revenue generation for Government. Got to love these commies! <grr>
  8. Kieefer, you misunderstood me. #1, we're all on the same side here. I want the radical Marxist, Obama, out as much as all of the rest of you. Let it be known, I am not dumb enough to not vote at all or vote for Ron Paul if he quits the primary or doesn't win enough delegates. I am not and never have been a liberal. I was a conservative Republican for all of my voting life until the last three plus years. I am sick of getting the same results every election. Progressive republicans, big government republican spenders but don't tax enough to pay for it creating debt, and the RHINO's are what has turned me off. I have moved farther right to Libertarian in hopes that we can get some restoration to the Constitution and founding principles. Also to move away from socialistic government and try to get some fiscal responsibility in Washington. To me right now, most of these republicans might as well be democrats. Half of them vote with the Dem's and once they win office, you can send letters until your fingers bleed trying to get them to vote right and you get nothing but the same old BS. They're just a little slower and slicker about what they do versus their democratic socialist and liberal democratic friends. But they're always a close step behind. Most people are not in the know, i.e., they do not know how to identify socialism and communism and are ignorant of its evils. The media and academic elites has been working hard to distort our history and news to help push that ignorance along. If it were Romney versus Paul for president... Mitt Romney would go on TV and look like the best guy simply because he will look more centrist and be a good public speaker (and has more money to advertise), while Ron Paul wold be seen as less popular because he's too far right for the independents and center-right. That's how the mainstream media likes to paint it to guarantee they only get a short stall in their FORWARD PROGRESS to socialism. Paul would actually stall it and start reversing some of it if he won. They can't have that happen! Paul was the only real threat to the radical left wing. I guess I'll just have to be happy Mitt Romney is not a Communist or Socialist bent on destroying our constitution and free market system, though. It just frustrated me that he won't do enough to stop this socialistic movement and start reversing it. I never said "hate" either. I said "oppose" in the context and Paul versus Romney on an issues argument. Sorry, I should have been more clear on that. If Paul wins, I don't think it would be an automatic win for Obama. Doubt that, too. I for one would not throw away my vote like that. I think most are smart enough not to do that as well. Obama has to go! Good points. But on the issue of people need to see the radicals take over. NO WAY! We might lose everything and for a long time of that happens. They want a collapse! They want to rewrite our constitution in to a socialistic charter and destroy the free market system even more than they already have. I don't want to live under that mess for any length of time! That is why I will vote Romney if Paul is out; to help get the radical Marxist and all his criminal socialist and communist friends out!
  9. . My question was more directed at what you disagree with on his stance on the issues versus Romney. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  11. So to all the Ron Paul opposers..... Please enlighten me on why you do not like him and Mitt Romney is better in your opinion. I just want honest answers, no sugar coating please.
  12. Thanks fro the link. Yes, we're serious about getting it. Problem is, everyone is out of stock except a couple places that want too much for it (guess that's why they are the only shops that have it in stock). I've found it new at a reputable dealer in the $2,600 range but it is not in stock. I've got my name in and they should contact me as soon as they get more. FWIW... Even ArmaLite's website lists the AR50 as out of stock: http://www.armalite.com/ItemForm.aspx?item=50A1B&ReturnUrl=Categories.aspx?Category=0406c9ff-539d-4b4c-ae1f-d045b91324c3 And from what I've read, they only make them in small batches.
  13. I shot this one hand held with my wife's camera and I think I forgot to set the aperture to F/8. I've got tons of shots of it I can edit made with my camera where I had it at F/8 to F/13. Those should be tack sharp. I'll go through them later and will post a new version.
  14. OK, I tried. It's not perfect though. I spent all night trying to get the light just right to get a good desktop photo of my AR 15. It's not as easy as it looks with crappy lights at home that are all different wattages, fluorescent, incandescent, etc. Plus the camera flashes were another source of light I had to deal with. Spent $30 on the 4ft x 6ft USA made flag to do this! Like? Right click save as if you want it. Then right click on the image and make it your desktop background.
  15. For me, I support Ron Paul until he drops out or loses the nomination. Is that so terrible, folks? If Romney wins, and the big government republican probably will, then I'll be forced to vote Romney to vote against the worse guy, Obama.
  16. Why is 338 Lapua ammo so high?
  17. You're getting me excited! What scope did you use on it? What was the max yards you shot it at?
  18. I chose wisely! Seriously, I just happened to luck up!
  19. Awesome! What did you shoot the pics with?
  20. Screw Romney! He's another big government republican that might as well run as a democrat based on his record in his own state. I will stand behind Ron Paul until he either wins nomination or Romney. If Romney wins, I will be forced to vote for him to vote against Obama. P.S. I just donated to Ron Paul yesterday. First time I ever donated to a politician.
  21. So I've been kicking around the idea of finally getting a 50 BMG rifle. Of course I'm not rich and can't afford a Barret, but I came across the ArmaLite AR50A1 and they seem more reasonably priced. I'd just like to know if anyone here has got to look at one, handled it and/or shot one? Accurate? Build quality good? Feel good or clunky/uncomfy to shoot? Etc? http://www.armalite....1f-d045b91324c3 The goal here would be to maybe get out to some really long ranges once or twice a year and try 1,000 yards or more. I know some folks here will think a gun like this is a complete waste of money and too expensive to shoot. But it has been a goal of mine for years to own a 50 BMG rifle for extreme long range precision shooting. So no need for anyone to try talking me out of it. Plus, I've already got approval from the wife to buy one.
  22. I see your point, but this law is written so silly that it could almost be interprited either way. I'm not willing to roll the dice on it just to keep my magazines loaded because you never know which way the cop will decide to interprit the law. And I don't want to waste the time and money in court trying to defend my freedom. Thanks for all the help!
  23. Check out this Channel 5 video at the point where the two cops get pissed at each other when one cuts off a DICE cop. Competition for the cops to steal money... This really is sad. http://www.newschann...&clipId=7267350
  24. Hmm. That sucks. Glad I decided not to go to the range. I'd had over 200rds of 5.56 loaded in the Magpul 30rd magazines. Going next week, though. Guess I'll have to unload all these now.
