Yep...you may want to print off the page from the airlines website, and bring it with you when you check in. Also...phewww...never belive what the reservations agnet tells you OVER THE PHONE......they usually don't know jack, and mislead you into one of the most frustrating adventures you could imagine. Remember...I do work for an airline, and I told you that....heh
  2. I emailed them here: Email: info@mctsclub.com We shall see if they reply?

Heh...yeah, don't go startin battle that close to Canananananada, they kinda jumpy folks up there...being part French and all. FYI: the rules for carrying ammo and weapons is not TSA regulated so far, these have always been our policies at Southwest. They are actually a product of our hazardous material handeling policy( for ammo ). Just like carrying dry-ice, batteries and most other burny, sticky, stinky stuff.
  6. Wowsers...raised Roman Catholic, large Irish family from New York. Fumbled with non-denominational and Baptist type churches after moving here. Wife was raised Lutheran, soooo...now I am a hethan and attend the Lutheran Church. It is ok though, the Catholic church said we are legally not married sine it was not performed in a Catholic church by a priest....heh...so I guess I get a freebie just because?

Yeah, 11 lbs...sorry I left that out. I just think 11 lbs of ammo is more than most folks would normally travel with.

If the magazines are loaded, I believe you can carry them in your gun case if it has cutouts in the foam for the mags. Remember to declare you have an UNLOADED firearm when you check in at the counter..and please...PPPPLLLEEAAASSSEEEEE don't check in at the curb with the skycaps. Get to the airport early enough to check in at the counter. If yer flying Southwest, tell em I said hey...been outta work for 3 months now.... Side note: I have been to Seattle, if you are staying in teh city and you like seafood...Ray's Boathouse was frickin awesome
  9. Ditto...and fishing. I can fly fish, but not very well. I like both saltwater and freshwater fishing. If you ever wanna go out, lemme know. I don't have a boat, but I have 17 rods and reels rigged at all times. If I can't shoot em, I will def. hook em

I work for Southwest, here is our policy: A hard sided LOCKED case for the unloaded weapon. This case can be put inside of another softsided suitcase....orrrrr....A hard sided locked suitcase ( this is what I recommend personally do to the complete protection of you personal belongings from rain and whatever else can happen ) and the unloaded weapon can be in a soft bag inside of this locked hardside suitcase. Ammo has to be in original manufacturer packaging, or secured inside of a case that will protect it from any damage or accidental disscharge. If you have to travel on another airline...welllll..good luck first off, but seriously...check the website for all of the airlines to make sure you can go from one to another, In the event of cancelled flights etc. Feel free to pm me iffin ya have any questions

  14. Sorry for the double post...I'm a newb... JJCt hough...$185 for a drill...I paid $30 for mine, and it's cordless. plus mine will at least scare my dog.
  15. So as fer yer gold teefs not to fall out?
  16. "We have a pretty low douche bag to normal customer ratio, but this guy was such a turd that he should count double!" Heh...the old DB. Yeah...screw that, if you guys have zombies down there I am gonna stay here in H-ville with my security six and an axe...I hate zombies..and Illinoise nazis.
  17. Drinkin and shooting...heh....
  18. It is an awesome site, everyone here has been great to me. I have been in only a month or so, but it has been very helpful. Congrats and welcome.
  19. Ok, ok....I have to add this: I was the union rep for 12 months, I work for an airline. Now....do we truely NEED a union....well, no. Has it helped us obtain better benefits, and made our workplace more enjoyable...absolutely. I work alot of ot...on a voluntary basis, and I have worked every Christmas, Thanksgiving, 4ths of July etc. for 15 years. some folks would call BS on this, but this is part of my job, and if I don't like it...I can quit. But, when they come to me, and say..we need you to be back here at 5:00 am, and it is now 12:30 am...welll....now we have a set of rules that makes this scenario a more agreeable situation. Would we have this option without a union...doubtfull. So, I have a job I love, I work with happy folks for the most part, we have a union. Has the union failed us...yes, on occasion. Has someone gotten their job back that should have been fired..uh huh. I will tell you first hand, the ONLY people that got their jobs back in 15 years are the ones that werent fired properly in the first place. These were not UNION regulations that were not followed, but company policy that the managers and supervisors failed to follow. BTW: just as a FYI deal...I have a degree in Aviation Management, and as long as unions arent allowed to get out of control, they cannot ruin a workplace.
  20. Ok dude...I will warn you. I bought my first gun in Oct of 2007,a ruger security six for $20. I got a fantesticle deal on it, and was going to use it to trade in on the gun I REALLLLY wanted. Well, now I love that gun..its a .38. So, now I am saving up for my new gun....a .45. And everyone here is correct in what they have told you. But for sure....hold and shoot the gun you are looking to buy. I was told to stay away from Glocks because they are soooooo BIG, but I am 6'3 and 280, I can palm a basketball with these paws...so I like the G21. My point.......get a feel for a gun. Once you get one...yer screwed...heh...good luck dude.
  21. Heya Mike, from Hendersonville. You will have a blast...errr...bang...umm....boom..heh...I like it here.
