  1. Twas a great time...beer and brats was had...then some more beer. Loved Rock City, I dig walking. Ruby falls was cool, too long waiting for me though. Got to one part of the Battlefield, where the Monument to New York ( of course ) and Ohio was...Cravens House, yeah. Cool thing is, I am from NY, wife is from Ohio...was very cool.
  2. Tungstun......thanks for all of your imput. What you said was exactly how I felt, just coudn't put it to words. For anyone I pissed off, I did not mean it. There is a time and place for OC, I have and I will. Yes the anti's and the sheepies far out number us. We don't need to kiss their buts, but we do need them on our side. FYI: the true thuggies, the baddest of the baddies do keep their crap concealed. I worked with em and around them for almost 3 years in NY. Some of them conceal way better than most of us would. Kisses...mmmwwaaa....love alls youz guys
  3. LMAO...sarcasm is soooo wasted on some folks, too bad really.

    I Pod question

I have an older Sansa... I like it, it has an fm radio as well. It takes about 10 minutes to "find" the music on the sd card, that is the only drawback. If she wants the ipod brand, so be it, but there are much better players out there if she doesn't care what brand it is.
  5. Heya Kelly...welcome aboard dudette.

  12. Been in or around airplanes now for 25 yrs...wow. Started flying when I was 13, never wore earplugs till I was 25 and started working around jets. I just wear the foamy ear plugs due to the comfort. We get our hearing checked every year and so far no loss, even with the little orange foamy deals. After seeing what canynracer put up, I think I would buy these for the range. Huh?...What?..thought I heard something?
  13. Dude, hope all goes well with the recovery and yer back up and puttin lead out soon. I am going through the ESI deal right now, steroid injections to my lower back, I fear surgery bad. Good luck, God Bless...and remember Pain don't hurt so bad.....heh
  14. Where do you shoot? Can you put up your own targets? Personally, I love steel targets, I love to hear the "plink". If you can afford one, go to Wal-Mart or Basspro, or wherever and get a rabbit or squirrel sized steel target. I know groupings are important, but the "plink" gives you the reward that you hit the target everytime.
  15. practice, practice, practice...then....practice some more. I don't shoot IDPA or anything yet, but would like to. One of the best thing I did was to buy a cheap holster and snapcaps. The cheap holster taught me that cheap holsters suck, and are only good to keep your gun from being scratched up while in the safe. Snapcaps, as you may already know, made me alot more familliar with my pistol, the trigger pull, how I hold the weapon, how to stop pulling my wrist, work on using the speed loaders, etc..
  16. Ya have to love the Jamey's....cures what ales ya. Tonight....NY strips n baked potatoes...woot
  17. Heya Tim dude, welcome aboard
  18. No kids here, sorry to say. But growing up, we lived in the city, and the WOW factor was huge. If not for my bro-in-law, you guys would never know of me. He taught me gun safety at 13, sent me to a hunters education course, then let me shoot his .44. Ahhhhh the day I lost my virginity, I will never forget it.
  19. Funny story Had to tell..... Bro-in-law was in a bad car accident, and was put in a wheelchair for several months. He grew up hunting, so opening day for deer up in NY, his 2 brothers wheeled him in (mainly to get him outta the house) and he was armed with his Harry Calahan .44. Sitting in a wheelchair, along a tree-line. Still smelling like a hospital and all the meds he had been taking, and had a 4 pin metal rig from his left knee to his ankle. Blue jeans and a flannel shirt. He was "forced" to shoot a big NY buck, as it was walking directly towards him. His 2 brothers were PISSED, they had only been out about an hour.
