  1. Well, it was a Ithaca 12 gauge. It really wasn't the gun that hurt so bad as the fact that I had several torn tendons in my shoulder, and I didn't know it. I was bruised for almost 2 weeks.
  2. I would have sold em, but they were stolen....
  3. No offense to the tech-heads here, but I absolutely hate phones of all kinds, so...as much as it pains me to say this.... Congrats dude, enjoy.
  4. Ok, keep in mind I am a city kid, originally from Rochester, NY.. Please no laughing.... This was with my Ruger Security Six, 10 rounds of .38 and 10 rounds of .357. BTW: nice shooting Kano and Jeff
  5. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..........yeah, huh...well....wow!!
  6. On my way to Guns and Leather right now. Finally headed back to work after 5 months off, so I need to get to it when I can. Will post one of them if they are worthy.
  7. Shooting, for self defense, I have found to be similar to when my mom taught me how to drive. When backing up, she always said.."back up till you hear glass break, then go another 3 feet".... I am not going to fire one round and ask BG if he has had enough, I am going to empty that damn thing because I am scared outta my witts...be it a 9mm, .38, .357, or a .45. Whatever it takes dude.
  8. I'll be taking the class at guns and leather next saturday, 11-15-08. I have done alot of shopping around, and I would either take Todd's class (Todd@CIS) or Guns and Leather.

    It's good with Rum too.
  10. Well, I usually put about 200 rounds through my revovlver when I go to the range. Mostly .38's but I like to put 30 or 40 rounds of .357's throught it also. Would you consider this "heavy" firing?

JJC..whatever you do, do not get that stuff on the blue wire....wow, that was close.
  12. Honor systems my butt!!! You need to have a supreme court justice witness your shots, and have the target notorized by Mayor McCheese. All pictures must have been taken from the Hubble statllite, and developed at Wal-mart, the Moscow store that is. Well, I am guessing the honor system would be easier....can you be trusted?
  13. This dude could not win for losing. It is funny how little the public really knows about government and politics, me included. I have talked with peopel and made a reamrk "you know you would have a valid point if we lived in a MONARCHY"...and they still didn't get it. I feel bad for the dude, he deserves a beer and a long nap.
  14. Yes we can...boom. Not anymore ya can't...heh
  15. Now ya tell me...damn dude, where were you last week...heh. Really, thanks. I may look like a professional, but it's because I stayed in a Holiday Inn one time. I am a tried and true noobasaur. .357 first, copy that!!

    210-220...whatever it takes.
  17. I am wondering if the foam is any better than Hoppy's? I have an old Ruger Security Six that has a problem taking .357 rounds after I have fired 100 or so .38 rounds through it. I am wondering if the foam would help keep the cylinders cleaner? I was also told that it is because I was trying to use CCI Blazer .357 ammo, and the alluminum casing has more friction that brass? Any thoughts or opinions would help a ton.
  18. Ok boys, now I am screwed, I took your advice. BTW: Rem-Oil is not, I repeat...NOT considered romantic in any sense of the word.......anyone have an extra couch?
