    Ruger P90

Ok, I have been ranting about getting this gun so much I have almost boiled over. Now I have it, and I love it, but I have some questions and concerns that some of you may be able to help me with. I have only had it to the range twice. The first time was tons of fte, but Jeff Whale (sp?) and G&L fixed that for me. Yesterday, I was working on the sights, and got it pretty well centered, but it consistently shoots low. I mean, at 5 yds, it is shooting about 2 inches low. Is there a possible problem with the gun, my stance or my hold? I have really been working on my own physics, and I am dead on with my revolver. This however has created a problem for me. It is a brand new gun. Should I let Jeff take a look at it again, being that a gunsmith may be able to make a quick fix, or should I contact Ruger ( which I am honestly doing right after I post this ). John
  2. Dude, seriously...and not in a man-love kinda way...you look great!!! I put on 25lbs being out of work 5 months with a back injury. I have lost 17 of it, plus need to loose the 50 I should have lost anyway. Keep on trucking my man.
  3. Ok, was at the DOS in Gallatin yesterday. 13 minutes from the time I left my truck till I got back in. Did the fingerprint thing at G&L, course had to visit the range for a couple hundred rounds. No my damn 2nd ammendment clock is tickin loud as heeeel. I have heard folks saying it has only been 1 month recently, so fingers crossed, but I don't think I have 30 days of sick pay at work yet?
  4. If it's on Youtube, it has to be factual right? Like wikpedia?...heh
  5. Checkin my cash stash. I will need 3 stickers, so the proverbial check is in the mail. Edit....yeah, I said need....will post pics of truck once I get these stickers.
  6. +1,000 recoil....... or for some reason the need for more ammo? 32 rounds of .45, and 18 rounds of .357 arent enough......yeah just never know.
  7. I juast bought a brand new P90 Stainless for $450, 2 mags. So I think $500 is high.
  8. Mamma H just bought me a P90 for my birthday/Christmas present..I love it, but my next .45 is definately going to be a G21. I loved how it shot, but I chose the P90 combined with a Remington 870. If I just got a pistol, i would have the G21 right now.
  9. Ok, so if you bought your wife or gf a new "pair" would you keep them from getting "shot"?...scuze the pun..I'm 6 beers into my Friday.... Heck no you would not!!! Fire away son, tis what I say....
  10. I recant..and quote...much better than mine....
  11. WWB is good target round, but I also like PMC Bronze. It's just a tad more, but still around .30 to .33 cents per round. I buy mine at Guns and Leather.....reliable
  12. Dude...don't settle. Cmon Paul, you know if it is raising a question now, it will raise a doubt after you buy it...
  13. Ya mean like the kp345? http://www.ruger.com/Firearms/FAProdView?model=6645&return=Y
  14. Ok here goes... Yer XD is a glorified High Point !!! Huh, huh? Maybe?
  15. Mamma made me a prime rib dinner, and some A+ adult bevergaes. Took a nap before dinner, I should make it till the ball drops. Happy New Year all, wish you all success and happiness for 2009.
  16. So I need a YMCA membership, a juicer and an MTAC...copy that, I am on it!!!
  17. Heh, I was like, how come no one is callin it a fake, till page 2? Some of you have me worried a little, maybe, kinda sorta. Tell ya what, pop off the foil beanies and come on over fer a beer or 12, I have pop(soda) too. Just don't drink the water, comes from a government monitored collection system.
  18. I just got done with a deal from Greenbriars own, and let me tell you they did a bang up job. The wife purchased me a new 870, and a new Ruger P90 and I could not be happier with the whole experience. I can be quite a PIA about buying things, and the folks up at G&L made it very, very easy.
  19. We bought my dad-in-law a CMP Garand for a retirement gift 2 years ago, still haven't been able to shoot it yet. Hopefully this spring. I like dem big boom guns. I am 6'3" and 290, big guns for big guys I say.
  20. Well, as this particular term happens to be my favorite of all descriptive phrases, I have incorporated it quite successfully into my day to day life. However,I have had to make some minor adjustments at work. We currently use the abreviation DB01 ( that's my call sign to the folks I work with ), and then we use that abreviation in conjunction with appropriate titles of those folks that are appointed to manage us.
  21. Ok, I have babbled about this a few hundred times, and my wait is finally over. Thanks to my wife for getting me what I reaaaaallllyyy want every year, and to Metalhead ( Daniel ) and the rest of the gang at Guns and Leather, I am now the proud owner of a new Remington 870, and a Ruger P90. I have yet to shoot either of them since those bastards expect me at work everyday, but I may have an hour or so tomorrow for the P90...woot. Thanks again to the folks at G&L...can't say enough good things about those folks.
  22. Teflon bullets illegal, well damn....now what am I gonna cook my eggs on, they stick to everything!!
  23. I hope to get out tomorrow with my NEW Birthday/Christmas present. I want to see what I can do with a .45 single handed.
  24. Worked 8:30 am Christmas day to 1:30 am Friday. They invited me back for more on Friday, but I said " no thank you please!!"
