  1. Ok, after some serious thought here though. I am a dude of "stature" shall we say. I am guessing that maybe, just maybe here is what happened..................(dream sequence)........... The dude could have been a fatty like me, and as he was enjoying his Carls jr. food, he made have had some...lets say..intestinal distress. Thinking he had one in the chamber, he had to excuse himself to the mens room. After entering the mens room, and securing the potty's door, he released on heck of a fart. In his gasious exctasy, he may have left himself off guard, and relaxed his stomach muscles, therefore exherting undue pressure on his unbelted waistline. This would leave no safety on his pants button. My theory then, is this......He busted wind, this cause great joy and euphoria, but also caused his button to "pop" off at great velocity, shattering the toilet!!! Now, back the the Kahr. Since those of you familiar with the weapon all have said that it will not fire if dropped, here is my explaination in an attempt to exhonerate said weapon. Not wanting to be accused of being a fatty (I have been in this dark and cold mental state myself). The man, without thinking, draws his weapon and fires a round at the busted terlit. He then drops said weapon on the ground as evidence of the "drop and shoot". If anyone has seen Boondock Saints, just picture Willam Defoe investigating this scene. Angus

    handgun on a flight

Yep, musicians have a harder time, tis true. Yes you can carry ammo, has to be packed according to the airlines rules based on the TSA/FAA regulations. Check the website of your particular airline, they should have all the info you need. If that isn't good enough, pm me and I may be able to answer some of your questions. John
  4. I loved the G21 when I shot it, but decided to get a .45 and a shottie for tha same price price. Next indepentant pistol purchase will probably be a G17.

Oops, I spoke to soon. I may be with Joe here, I like the S&W442 due to the S&W. I like rugers, just bought a P90. But I like the S&W revolvers. I am thinking of trading my Security Six for a S&W honestly.
  11. Jeff is who I was going to recommend as well. What a great dude who really knows his stuff.
  12. I keep my CRK K.I.S.S. on me all the time, except work..damn the TSA. I have had it 5 years, usually use it when I am fishing, but even used it last month to trim the top branch of the Christmas tree. I had to sharpen it for the first time after the whole tree thing. I love it, open and close with 1 hand. Now you guys have me shoping for another knife damnit. I have several pocket knives, the CRK being my current favorite. I have an old 3" locking blade folder I got when I was a kid, needs cleaned and sharpened.
  13. I always liked Spade, reminds me of me, but smaller......heh. What a job, good deal.

  15. So if you are an employed, tax paying, legal citizen you should register just incase, at some point you become DB #1. As for the current overflow of DB"s, they won't have to register because your sudden turn to the dark side will cause a total flux in the time/space continuem, and these said former DB will become the model citizen who will be in fear of your registered hiney....ohhhhhh, I get it. What a bunch of horse hockey....Col. Potter
  16. "I totally forgot I had not put it away," .....Really?....Seriously? If her mind is that far gone, then maybe she should have found another way to protect herself. She obviously doesn't have the frame of mind to be handeling a firearm.
  17. Got my new 870 at Guns and Leather...I love it. It is 28" though, for a little bird hunting.
  18. Amen Bruddah...but now I have my .45, so I can comfortably search for a 9mm just for SAG.

    Ruger P90

Exactly what i am doing, only in reverse. They are sending me a higher rear sight. Cool though, since I never thought of the whole filing deal. I don't like the idea of tearing up my new gun, but if it works, it works.
  20. Sweet, thanks dude. I need to be more informed. This is not a resolution, it is a fact...heh

    Ruger P90

Called em and no problem. "Bill" said it will be about 2 weeks, due to the backup from the holidays and the surge of new gun purchases....woot.
  22. Angus

    Ruger P90

How would you lower the front sight on a P90? There is no adjustment to them.
  23. Angus

    Ruger P90

e-mailed Ruger, apparently I am not the only one with this problem. They responded by saying they have had to make higher rear sights for the gun. I just have to give em a call. I am callin now....well, after they open anyway.
  24. Noooo, the rat bastards keep comming back for more. I am from NY they should know better than to want MY brains!!!

    Ruger P90

Well we all know better than that, it can't be me? Honestly, I have thought of that, but at 5 yds 25 rounds, they all made a nice group about 2-3 inches low. If I was flinching wouldn't they be all spread out or would it still make a pretty tight group? Honest question, not being a smartass, cuzI truly don't know.
