I have one with the crimison trace I too use Hornady works fine never had a miss fire 100 plus rounds thru it. Definitely snappy. But accurate at 15 yards not my everyday but do carry it.

I will just say I live in Chapel hill, and the weather that came thru this past week essentially shut this town down. Stores all closing by 4 nothing getting restocked. This is nothing and people can't get supplies, if things get bad you better be ready and have a plan.

The reading, and training are needed without a doubt, but no one knows how they will react until the time comes. I hope to God you never have to find out how you will react.

It depends on the person trying as many as you can is a good thing, and how they plan on carrying makes a difference too. I tell everyone I will teach you the basics but you have to take a class with another instructor. Learning from more then one person is a great thing. If new I don't recommend a subcompact, just need sometime to get used to handling the that type of firearm. Still a ton of good instructors around Tennessee. I try to take a class once a year with a new instructor, or someone that has something to teach me.
