  1. If you find one I have a box of 32 you can have located in chapel hill. Good luck
  2. One of the originals this world is a less place without him. I know he taught me a thing or two.
  3. The genZ group is way different depending where they live and grow up. I work with a bunch and they are mostly conservative, with an acceptance of others shall we say. My 23 year old son is like that. And talking to them they are all voting for the bad orange man, and like minded local politicians. Most of us were taught don't talk politics well BS to that don't ever stop talking politics. And please if they won't install term limits we have to stop voting the same people to the office if they can't move up move them out. No more lifetime politicians.
  4. I say knives are like women all have the good qualities, but what one person likes is different from another. Find what you like blade style handle, and again quality and that doesn't mean break the bank right tool right job I carry a 20 dollar knife at work so when I destroy it I don't care. My EDC is a spyderco Karambit. Some great knives above and great advise.
  5. The best advise I can give is look thru both and see how your eyes pick them up. But not inside the store but outside and in different light conditions. I've used both I have red(deltapoint pro) on my ccw, and green(EOtech) on a 300Blk out. Good luck as with most things we hope never to use in an emergency I say buy quality.
  6. Howdy welcome
  7. Welcome to the group, I don't call myself a local only been 14 years. The areas you are looking to move to well they are definitely different from each other. Bella Meade nice homes a little to fancy for me. Clarksville is different due to the base, Hendersonville mostly suburb nice losing/lost it's country feel, Shelbyville still country mostly but has enough shopping and is close enough to get to other areas within 30 min. Depends what you want Tennessee has it as far as living areas, if young children going to public school I might look to the more populated ares. Good luck, and welcome.
  8. I've got a box of fmj Fiocchi, if you still have it or the person that does want it. I'm in chapel hill, for free.
  9. Tennessee Secretary of State Rejects Memphis Gun Control Push: City ‘Can’t Override State Law’ https://www.breitbart.com/2nd-amendment/2024/08/26/tennessee-secretary-of-state-rejects-memphis-gun-control-push-city-cant-override-state-law/
  10. I've used 30-06 for 5 elk 180grain and 308 168 grain for 2elk.
  11. No but it's the best I have, glass is great you can light up the reticle. I've used it out to a 1000 everything works great for adjustments. Eye relief is good. I bought it 15 years ago I'd say about 500 rounds used for zero remained perfect. Hasn't been used in a few years, the rifle it was on is gone, waiting on a new build next year. You know its reliable they let Marines use it lol. Good luck with your decision.
  12. If you were closer I'd let you try my mark 4. Long trip for a test run lol
  13. I used to deal with outpost often, the location in murfreesboro looks great. But the people are not the same, expansion is great if you can keep the way you did business the same. They didn't, I'm glad I have independent gun shops around me. I will not shop at outpost again, my wife thought the same thing when we visited their store. I've been in the Franklin store as well they were better but I dealt with someone I know. I've given them multiple tries same result, I wish them well they are just not for me.
  14. We should be able to buy any firearm being produced, we shouldn't have to over pay for a 40 year old firearm. If you want the same rifles our military are getting you should be able to go to buy a full auto sig. I don't expect this to happen but it should.
  15. Mark 4 if you can find one,
  16. Agreed as he used to be my rep, he is awful. I have Andy now, he's better the Scott but don't trust him.
