Maybe I do, but then my safe wouldn't have as many guns in it! :pleased:
-
Agreed! But I have had several that do not shoot reliably until after 200+ rounds. That is why I carry NOTHING until it gets that initial break in.

The rear sight on mine will not move.

Do you ever see other people carrying?
tnhandgun57 replied to gregintenn's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
Don't really pay that much attention to others......as long as I am! -
Scored one!! Carried to the range Saturday! Recoil was similar to any of my .380s(significantly less than the Nano, I carried as well). 2 random FTEs, not worried about that, since it is not broke in yet(+250 rounds). Grip safety will take some getting used to(as did my XDs), but overall, I would give it a B+ for first shoot. And, it's a COOL gun!!

New handgun: $200-$2500+ Getting what you want: PRICELESS!!!

I don't have OCD(at least not diagnosed), but to say that you need to be aware of ALL things when carrying 'cocked and locked' is a given! It took a GOOD WHILE for me to feel comfortable carrying this way! Knowing that the gun is loaded, and ready to fire should make you double careful, and aware of anything that can happen, clothing and all! To do anything less, would be careless, IMHO! This is also the reason, when I pocket carry, I remove the holster from my pocket to put my 'pocket rocket' back in!

And....this guy is a police chief?? C'mon man!

Seems to be some differences of opinion on recoil. I want to see one! Possible buy!!

I don't call it addiction. I call it obsession! Sounds tamer!!

GUN SAFES, SAFES, VAULT DOORS
tnhandgun57 replied to Parker's Safes's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
I have IE 9 and Firefox. Works in both for me. .....as for pricing, I have tried both. The only places you will find pricing is the 'big box' stores. Check the quality, compare reviews, so you can make an informed decision. They are your valuables. The comparison that sold me was on another safe dealer's website! that being said, give Aaron a call. I did, and am VERY happy with my decision to buy from him! -
GUN SAFES, SAFES, VAULT DOORS

+1 Aaron is top notch! Need a safe, CALL HIM!! -
I agree with OP......if it is not for sale, don't put it on the shelf! Rat hole it in the back, and keep it for whomever you like. Besides, it is your business, run it as you see fit. Just remember, 'the sun don't shine on the same dog every day'

No worries.....as long as you remember where the SIG is!!!

I am there almost one weekend a month(Saturday and/or Sunday morning) to replenish what we shoot. Sometimes I get some, sometimes not. I am not debating the morals, just making an observation.

Anyone else noticed this? All I see are the Remington Thunderbolts........

If I had 50k rounds I SURE would not have to go stand in line at 6am at Wally!!! Would not resell then either. I would rather have them for my family. 50k rounds is a FUN daydream!!!! -

First let me say that I have never resold 22 ammo, and NEVER will! I have not, and will not pay 3X $$ for a 22 brick! I will park my 22 rifles and pistols before that! That being said, I have been known to be in the ammo lines early in the morning at Wally. I may go once a month or so, and have left with no 22s several times. Both of my sons, my wife, and myself LOVE to shoot 22s! We have several 22 pistols and rifles, and I want to have something on hand to shoot in them. I work 40+ hours a week, and the only time I can go stand in line is on Saturday and Sunday. I make NO apologies for going to stand in line! If it is what I have to do to get 22s, I will! If you take my picture standing in line, it will not anger or embarrass me in any way, I am just doing what I have to do to shoot the guns I LOVE to shoot, and to make sure my family can as well! And, I have NEVER grabbed one of Wally's chairs to sit in, I always stand! -
Smith & Wesson and Strum, Ruger to Stop Selling Guns in California

I feel sorry for the good, decent, people who live in CA...maybe it's time for them to move. ....or go to the polls!! -
Should I stop trying to get my wife to consider a semi-auto?
tnhandgun57 replied to JReedEsq's topic in Handguns
This is what my wife wound up with, after starting with a Rossi 38 snubbie, and then an LCR. Sold the Rossi, LCR now mine! :pleased: Whatever they are comfortable with(shooting). IMHO -
Kinda small, kinda high, but a couple hours of fun! VERY surprised there were NO bricks of 22's available! Usually there are a few, but they are HIGH!

Anyone going?

870 shells hanging in chamber
tnhandgun57 replied to KaNuckles's topic in Gunsmithing & Troubleshooting
This was an issue with my 870 Tactical(also my son's 870 mag). After doing some research, I found the the small brass ends on the 'cheaper' shells was causing this issue. To test this, I bought some Remington Express shells, which have more brass. Cutting to the chase, my 870 has ran 100 rounds of this ammo through with NO issues.
