It's all about health. As long as the money keeps coming in. This is a chance for people to avoid some really serious health problems in later life and contribute more to society. The money savings are an added incentive for them to do so. Government is evil.

It was interesting but felt kind-of rushed as if the girls were just props. Could have done with a little more build-up IMO.

Heh, worked for me too. Though my Dad claimed he'd never told me that after I got in trouble for taking it probably a little too far. Still a trail of bloody noses certainly put over the message "I may seem like a soft target but guess again". But I know not everyone is physically equipped to take that path.

  *shrug*. All I know is when I tried that on my daughter's Toshiba laptop, it would not take the key extracted (Magic Jellybean) no matter how many times I tried. Unfortunately, the sticker had worn away and it refused to write recovery disks. I ended up going the bios key route and it worked a treat. It's been a while but I recall a program you had to run to get the bios info then another you would run to insert a downloaded key into Windows. This was XP though. But from the little I looked into 7 at the time, it was different but similar.   The interesting thing was that I ran the bios info program on my built-from-scratch system and it returned information as if it was an HP system. I think theoretically, if I could have obtained HP install CDs, I would have been able to throw them straight on there without needing a key.

  True but a gun is not a complex object.   3D printing has its own issues with certain types of complex objects also and you can end up getting into some clever design to work around it.

  I ran into this before myself. OEM windows typically does not use a key so extracting it gives you nothing useful. It actually keys into the bios. You can use the key to activate a generic version of windows but if you can get the vendor version of the install discs, it won't even ask for the key. Another option is if you can get the "bios key" you can use that to activate a generic version of Windows (that's a bit of a PITA but they are out there).
