I like to push it but that's not a thing for group rides IMO.

I get 7 down, 1 up. I *could* pay for faster but I seem to be hitting that dumb 300G cap easily enough anyway.

Ah, glad I didn't miss it. I knew there was something I meant to check before the weekend. I have a nasty feeling I might be on-call though. I am not \o/ . That means I should be onboard.

Unfortunately, the founders of the states and union decided to set up institutions whose job it was to pass laws. So that's what they do, whether they're needed or not..

Really. If you're worried about someone riding without a helmet increasing your insurance premiums, petition your insurance company to put you in a pool which excludes motorcyclist who don't wear helmets (or even motorcyclists altogether if you'd prefer). It's already what's being done for smokers. Of course, the idea is to spread risk around a bit but it's only reasonable that riskier activities incur higher premiums (or even cause forgoing insurance completely).

We're well aware of those risks and have the same worries but if you have to ride, you have to ride and you just can't explain it to a non-biker. I left riding for about 15 years and had frequent weird motorcycle dreams until I picked it up again (which I always knew I would).

I saw one on there about a year ago but they didn't make their numbers. I wonder if it's the same people came back for another go. Edit: Apparently not https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/burthamner/harvest-natures-energy-for-usb-power-to-go?ref=category

Sure, let's keep on down that road http://greatergreaterwashington.org/post/18301/maryland-considering-mandatory-helmets-for-drivers/ :)

If half your brains are on the highway, I think the medical costs will be minimal (though probably not nonexistent)

My guess is there's no way to tell but we might be surprised. Government nearly always makes a ham-fisted job of what they're up to. I wonder if an "under 21" clause would have helped this along. I know everyone's worried about "young Jimmy" and American seems to be constantly infantilizing people so perhaps that would have been enough and allowing that people over 21 are damn sure able to make their own decisions would play better.

One of my favourites. Unfortunately a bit of a trek but I'm probably going to try and make it out there again this year.

"This is not a road for crotch rockets!!!" Haha, having ridden behind cruiser dudes on The Dragon, I suspect the crotch rockets would have an easier time of it. They're not just about riding WOT.

There's quite a nice loop you can do if that's your thing. Natchez->50->48->49->251 (Or finish up a little differently depending on your final destination). 48 south of 100 and 49 are some great riding roads if traffic is light.

Nice bike and an impressive amount of miles. Hoping for some nice riding weather this weekend. Is there a motorcycles thread on here? I'm sure I would have posted in it if there were.

The light is likely 12v. Can probably be bought 10 for $1 on ebay.

Had very similar happen to me once over something trivial. The thing is, I can understand a honk, and even a little digital communication but once you start pursuing someone, that's stepping over a line (and into some quite dangerous territory).

Heh, Bitcoin is risky but altcoins are for gamblers.

I don't think the AR is going to get away with it.

Just beware. If you ever pistol-whip someone with it, you might be up for a charge of attempted murder :)

It's doing OK. Price has been lower, price has been higher. It's been through a lot, plenty of scammers drawn to the fresh money but it's been surprisingly resilient. I like it but I always recommend people do their own research.

I think it's setting up for a big showdown which gets conveniently interrupted by the Wolverines. The Z-virus (or whatever it's called this time) was actually a soviet plan and everywhere west of the Appalachians is under Russian control. Vladimir Putin guest-stars in the season finale. The battle will be won at great cost to the Alexandrians, maybe one of the show regulars and a hairline scratch to Rick's cheek after which everyone will realize that they need to work together against far worse things "out there" though it's probably "just better" if the regulars move on.

That would have to be brick bees :)

Bees for me means honey. My hive made it through the winter.
