Consider Jamaican patties. Available from some Dollar Trees and probably elsewhere. Can't be beat for a dollar. The family always eats the beef ones up but not the chicken so it's good that I like those.   I've seen them in a Kroger out at Pigeon Forge come to think of it too. None local though.

Definitely have to try out that slide. I don't have a problem with a racking but my wife is not comfortable with the effort needed for the semis I have.

  I worked for a place down in Tullahoma which did short-run RFID boards with SMTs. The assemblers just used one of those soldering irons I showed above. I guess a steady-hand and a magnifying glass are enough (I realize this won't work with some components).   I'm planning on trying some reflow soldering with a toaster oven. Seems people have been having some success with that.

It's about time they came up with a domain specific language for specifying laws exactly and avoiding ambiguities. It's not like us lay people are supposed to understand half of it anymore anyway.

If you don't feel like going for full temperature controlled right away, consider the Antex. I got converted to these by a Frenchman a few years back. Much better than the Radio Shack ones and grounded.

Was considering doing that at one point. Found plans for a double garage with an apartment above. The idea was going to be to build that, use it as a base to build the main house then rent it out. Never got around to it though due to either time or money concerns (When I have plenty of one, I tend to lack the other). It was either this one or something like it.

I believe 4:3 LCDs are still available. Haven't seen one in the wild in a while though.

I did it for a couple of years a while back. Never got great times but was getting them down there. I am not a natural runner and find if very boring. I need to get back into it again though.

Might be worth a roll of the dice if cheap enough but as others have said, VIN searches and retitling are cheap enough.   If it's the one I just found, I wouldn't risk that much for  no title.
