  1. Ok. All I can say is WOW!!!!!!!!!!! and thanks for the input. I will know for sure Tuesday but I am certain it is torn and Im not sure how bad. The Guy that took my MRI said UN Officially it didnt look good. I had to go in for 2 sets of MRIs I can use my arm to somethings. But when I move it in a bad way it will bring me down for a few moments. 6 months looks like norm. Thats going to suck. I may wait until winter. to do it if its needed. Thanks!!!! for all the well wishes.......
  2. Anyone had this? Rotator cuff surgery. I will know for sure on Tuesday but looks like Ill be down for a few. I guess I can practice one handed shooting with my left hand LOL... I am right handed It is my right shoulder. How long is recovery? I guess rifles and even reloading will be out for a few?
  3. Not sure how much difference it makes but mine is marked WC and not SMP. I had to back off 5% on my loads.( Compared to CFE223) As I was having slight primer flows ( flat primers) and craters In my 20 and 24 inch ARs. Also Im not sure if this matters. I do not crimp my 223s. I have no chrono but I will have one soon.
  4. Private or membership at this is not a concern. Im just looking for info on building it and tips. As for the legal stuff, Going to a pay system at this time will not matter. As it will be down the road. Plus county to county in TN vary for the laws. I just want to build and set it up right the first time. I am looking at building benches and to have those covered for sun and light rain. I am looking to run both hand guns and rifles from the one and only firing-line I look to start with gravel on the firing line. Then go to concrete After re looking the land over today I may only go 8 or 10 lanes with one or 2 open for the prone position.
  5. It will be private use
  6. Ok I have some land and it has a natural swag in it that will allow me with very little grade work to provide a 150 yd range. It will have at minimum of a 30 foot berm in a horseshoe shape around the full shooting area. I can safely set up 12 shooting stations. It is on a back road and can and will be gated easily. There is plenty of parking to the right Or one can drive down to the firing line. The firing line to targets will be on a slight incline. ( I may level this down If i can keep the dozer long enough) Ok now what Id like is some thoughts on what to do and or look for as I start this project.
  7. Questions you may think to silly to ask. My First one. Say I am running XXX powder in a 223 at the minimum load and it hits at 100yards where I want it to. But say I want to load ammo for 200 or 300 yds and make the round hit on target with not moving the settings on my scope. Is there a chart or rule to go by to make the ammo hit at 200 or 300 by adding more powder ( Up to the max safe load) I think I made this clear LOL if so or not lets talk it over.
  8. I hope it goes well.!!
  9. Not used them but I like their lowers. Looks clean .
  10. NICE. Id just like to have some shade. But a AC would be super!!
  11. I really look forward to a SS tumbler if it will out do my media and vibrator. No cleaning the primer pockets by hand would be worth a lot of $$$$ to me.
  12. until

Anyone want to meet before or after to eat ?
  13. QDan It wont work in a vibrator type. You have to have a tumbler that goes round ( or rolls) and the unit is sealed and contains water and soap
  14. SWEET...... now build me one please. LOL
  15. I know others may have seen this but I love it! Even much more so seeing Clint with a long gun.
  16. Yes it was David. But I had cleaned it before I sized it. Plus drilled some. Im on 750 now and zero problems. Thanks David.
  17. And Caster comes and saves the day!!
  18. And this is the way you do it? Or have done it? And how long did your brass last after you did it this way?
  19. Ok when did Mossberg get into ARs? I missed this. http://www.mossberg.com/products/default.asp?id=45

  22. Welcome Bob. Im sure you will fit right in and have your own Gun Store one day soon!
  23. Anyone anneal their brass? If so How do you try to do it?
  24. Most tumblers will give a list of how many of certain cases each will hold. Mine is a Lyman Turbo and It will hold 200 223s. The best way I found is to put the brass in and start the tumbler then start adding the media until it seems all the cases are full and you will notice a "flow" of the brass and media as they move as it is running. If you put to much media the flow will slow down. Just stop the tumbler and pour some media out. The brass rubbing against each other will speed up the polish and cleaning process when you have a smaller amount of media. Im sure the experts will come along and give you better info and or an explanation.
  25. Ok lube it is on the next ones. I just thought Id see what was thought on NEW brass Im not asking about fired brass. And yes I have had many stuck ones. But not with new brass.
