  1. Well maybe more Collectable than i thought. LWS380 yearly production numbers: 2003: 4 2004: 410 2005: 349 2006: 272 2007: 250
  2. Not really collectable. Just a 2 year waiting list to order one from seecamp. Plus the price I have in this is about 3-400 less than open ones go for on Gunbroker. As I stated I have other 380s to play with and I do collect boxes......LOL I trust Larry. He will back his work years from now if something is wrong with the gun. But it is a nice box?
  3. I had a great day today! I received my LWS 380 and My 3 Silver coins. Sorry No pictures of the 380 as I am undecided as to open the seal on the box or not. I already have the .32 and love it and I have a lot of other 380s to shoot. So I may not open this one (at least for now)
  4. Dont ya just love a Good Week? Congrats!!
  5. Thanks! yes a cloth wheel & some rouge would work. But I was looking for something a bit more easy to use.
  6. Ok maybe a silly question: Can I use a Brass tumbler with the right media to polish some aluminum grips? (Small ones) If so what media would I use? How much? How long? ect.... Thanks!

  8. When you grade a gun what standard do you go by? I see a lot of 90-95% and so on. And it made me wonder in the GUN world is there a standard if so who uses it or do we just make a guess. When one states a percent is it only the finish being referred to? Or are they including the mechanics and function of the gun as well? I guess we base 100% as being New from the factory. But I have seen new guns that are far from 100%. Such as: NIB I collect coins and there is a set way to grade a coin and even then it is subjective within a point or two. I hope some long time gun guys chime in to enlighten me on this.

  11. I am sorry to have ruffled a few feathers. I didn’t want this to turn into a battle of who was doing bad or not. I kinda thought it would bring in more money for the site by way of Donations to cover it than those that would join on their own during that time period. As I stated I was sure some would give donations to cover the idea I had. I wasnt asking for a change or to bend rules. I’m also sorry I didn’t ask this in private and seems I over stepped my bounds to post this suggestion. But I can see it is not the good of an idea after all. Search the PIF I have already posted a few Memberships Id pay for as Gifts and I am sure more will follow.

  13. I had a thought that may or may not work. Being the bad economic times we are in maybe for the month of December or the first 2 weeks of December, remove the status requirements to post in the TGO Trading Post This would allow a few to post Guns and items they may need to sell so they can have a better Christmas and Holidays. I know it is not up to us members to do this or decide but I thought Id toss up the ideal for the board’s admin to look at. Also being a past vendor and one that will soon be a vendor here, I am also a Benefactor. Id be willing to give a few dollars as a donation to TGO to help cover the cost of allowing those non – Benefactor members to post in the Trading Post. I am sure other vendors and benefactors will be willing to donate some as well. Just a thought.
  14. Ok I am an older guy. BUT I do not like OLDER guns. I am into anything NEW and the newer line of guns. When I go to a show all I see is OLD stuff that has no interest to me. Id love to see MORE of the newer guns that are on the current market. Also AMMO. I am sure someone somehow can get ammo at a fair price and maybe make a limit so there is enough to go around? I understand shows are to make money and to feed the instant gratification but some prices are just to high even if the supply is low and demand is high.
  15. I was looking as I do every day at Buds site. Thier prices have jumped 20-40%??? Sig Sauer 2022 9mm Night Sights Hi Cap w/2 mags. for Sale at Buds Gun Shop $818.00 was like 473$ the other day I can list alot of others but Im sure you see my point.
  16. Yes NILLS! need not say no more
  17. Around 450$ NIB... I had looked for one for a while and then came across the Rugger. I havent shot the 637.
  18. I finally bought a Colt 1911. It is the Combat Commander. The finish on the gun is Good. The fit is ok. (I’m use to Dan Wesson’s) I made a good deal on this NIB one and I’m sure I will love it after I shoot it. Anything good or bad about these guns since this is my first one?
