Nice SIG!! the 229 is one of my favorites. I like the new style grips it is sporting. That has the night sites? You should have zero problems with the GSabers.

Sigs "Compact" is only about 3/4 in shorter in Overall Height and right at an inch shorter in Overall Length VS their full size. But yes the image shown here is a Compact.

I was on the phone with one of my customers. During our chat I asked him how he had found my site. He told me he had called Sig Sauer and wanted to order their wood grips for the P238 and they told him they did not sell them at this time. They then told him to have a look at sigpower.com for the aluminum grips as an alternative. I called Sig a few days latter and asked for the wood grips and the CS rep on the phone also told me about sigpower.com I told the man thanks and that I would check the site out. I know he was just a rep and not the company. Now for the rest of the story: For those who don’t know sigpower.com is my site. I just thought it was cool to have a big name company notice my small site and the parts I make. After buying the 522 22LR Sig Rifle I noticed they use the same design to hold the slide back with the follower that I have been making for over a year and a half. Makes me feel rather good and a bit proud. Just shows the power of the Internet.

6oz ? Way to heavy for the size. They need to drop it down to around 2 oz. Id buy a few just to use with my G.I Joes

I have to join in and say I love the P238. For me it is a good carry size. And shoots very well. Id buy it even if it wasnt a Sig. But then I do love 99% of all Sigs.

For now it is a Truglo 30mm.

Good to see they dropped that ugly Hawk logo on thier grips. But I do Like it.

Not really an “EVIL Black Gun†But I will call it my SESBG (SEMI-EVIL Semi-Black Gun) Just picked this up the other day ( thanks to Tri City Gun Depot) It is a new Sig 522 22LR in the OD Green. Added a red dot scope on top and the STL 900L Light n Laser on the bottom. I have the red dot set at 75yds and the laser set at 25 yrds. Plus the strong light from the STL900 comes in handy for those late night rabid zombie squirrels. Now to go shoot it and fine-tune the laser and scope. I will post a range report after I take it out.
