  1. The X Bolt is about a 800$ Gun? used? The P245 is around 600$-700$ so worth it? That is up to you. The grip is a bit wide. It is a nice size gun though. By Sigs word it is a compact. Easy take down. Plenty of parts out there for it. Mine has shot very well. Almost the same as the P220 Compact in size and weight.
  2. I should add for those who dont know the gun is a Sig P238 .380
  3. Just have to show this one off. It is not for everybody but I love it.
  4. A great gun in your price range is the S&W 6904 and 6906 ( used)
  5. Those are nice. Glad you found one in good shape. Be safe!
  6. If it snows I hope someone will video some snowman blasting. Or have you in the past?

  10. Now that thar is a GUN!!! One of the few wheel guns I do like. Congrats!
  11. Have you ever thought of the concept that a black color gun looks smaller? ( to the eyes) I seen this and thought it out and have to agree. What do you think?
  12. Nice report! BUT...... No Sigs?

  14. For those with TIGHT Sig 522 LR mags: I have found an easy and cheap way to make them fit better. They are about 7-8 thousands to thick. Mine now drop when the mag release is pushed in. What I did: Take the magazine apart. Depress the small tab and slide the red base plate out. Pull the red plug and spring out the bottom and the red follower will also come out. Pull this slow and gently. Then use an allen wrench and remove the 6 screws that hold the two halves of the plastic magazine together. Pull the two halves apart and take note you will feel small tabs sticking up on one half and see holes that match their location on the other half. You want the half with the holes NOT the half with the location tabs (pins) I used some 80 grit sand paper to start with the sandpaper on a flat surface such as a table. I laid the half with the location holes on top of the sandpaper and began to sand back n forth by pulling the magazine half back n forth. As you do this a few time you will see areas the sandpaper is not hitting. You need to sand this down until you see all the surfaces have been hit by the sandpaper. The amount needed is about as thick as 1-2 sheets of paper. Do his a few minutes and check. No need to screw the magazine halves together. Just hold them tight and test fit in the gun until your happy with the fit. This took me about 5 mins with firm pressure. I am sure those who have a sanding belt and or sanding block can do this faster. Just go slow and take small amounts off keeping the surface level until you get the fit you want. Clean the dust off and reassemble your magazine.
  15. Any other shops or ranges I need to add?
  16. Think I found that something NEW to buy. Ill wait untill I see a few images.
  17. I was the 2nd owner. I did buy it and ammo from TDR. If I recall I did place 50-100 rounds in it. I did clean it one time. It did have a slight problem with doing a hand cycle of ammo. And I figured out I was limp wrist it to do that. I cant recall much more than what I passed along to Rugerman. But I can atest I nor TDR did any mods to the gun and I would believe Rugerman to what he says. Ill be glad to buy the gun if need be. As I am certain DW would fix any problem for me. If I felt the gun was unsafe I would have never made a trade with Rugerman.
  18. SGT. Joe has declined the ammo asking to give it to another. I now suggest the 3rd place. This is trblmkr13 trblmkr13 is now the ammo winner. Getting hard to give away a box of ammo..... hehehe
  19. Used one for my Sig P226 now for 2 years. Shot the 357sig and 40 with no problems. Mine is a touch high at 30 yds. I cant see it breaking. They are very well made. I trust it 110%

This says alot for the handguns out there right now to pick from. Ill go over this list soon and give my thoughts. Thanks for your thoughts!!!
  23. Ok I have the itch for a new gun. I am looking at maybe another 1911 but thought you guys might give me some thoughts as what to buy next. Carry size matters not. Ill carry anything A Range gun would be ok. Caliber is a non-issue with me. I’m not big on revolvers. But open to thinking one over. Glocks are a BIG no. But plastics are fine. No price range. I am just looking for something I don’t have and is fun to shoot.
  24. Thanks everyone for the info, comments, and opinions. As an update I did trade for for a very like new in box PM9 I love it so far with only 75 rounds. A side comment. Most firearm failures or more so those related to an ammo issue happen due to operator error. (Just my opinion)
