  1. Gezzzz. Nice poll and question to get eveyone thinking. I guess Im a hoarder. I try to buy a case of ammo for every new gun I buy. I can not care less who or where I buy it from as long as I am happy with the SPEED and the price I pay. Im not one to wait (long) and have been known to pay a bit to much for some ammo. It has taken me this many years in my life to be able to buy what I want when I want it. But Yes Id buy from a hoarder (he has what I want when I want) I am glad there are those who do hoard!
  2. I might be out of line here and if I am just disregard this post please. The deal with bassmaster: I may be part to blame. I had seen his post about not liking his new Kimber. I told him that I might be interested and that if he listed it in the trading post and others didn’t want to trade with him I would work a trade. He then asked about being a benefactor and how long it takes after he pays when he could list. I told him most times the next day or 24 hours or less and he did this. I did not know there is such a law to not sale a gun for profit with no FFL and now I feel bad that he has went and paid his fee here on TGO per my advice to then list something wrong. As you see he wanted to Trade more than anything to find a gun he likes. The sale price as we all do was set high to work down from. If it is only a violation of the TGO rules I am sorry I overlooked that also. But as always there is two sides to every story and also unknown facts that others cannot see. So Bottom line to bassmaster please accept my apologies for leading you wrong . I am sure this will be cleared up soon.
  3. New law to me. Not that I know alot of laws. I am sure strickj knows what he is talking about. I hope someone can post this law.
  4. Well you will have to find a dealer or someone in line that has one on order. There was a 2 year wait list on the 380 but they stopped taking orders a few months ago. The .32 is about 6 months.
  5. I picked up my new .32 today with the custom serial number. (YES I did open the box on this one.) The custom serial number almost matches my .380 – LWS2406 and LS2406 I did notice my signed magazine has the date the same as the shipping date on it but it is off by one year. I hope to break it in in a few days. And no I have no fear about showing the serial numbers;)

    CX 4 Storm

I love mine!! It will be one gun Ill never sell.
  7. How old is the gun? Has it got the external extractor or Internal one? Might be a great gun to buy.
  8. Hi Jimmy and Welcome!! Seecamps?
  9. I love them. I guess I have strong fingers. Never shot one with a hard trigger. Good carry size. 15yrds will hit what you aim at. Mine now will eat any ammo I use. They have more than one style to pick from now.
  10. Love the 85. If it shoots anything like it looks you have yourself a winner!

    Kel Tec PMR-30

I have a case off 22mag ammo on order should beat the gun getting here.
  12. TCGD had these for the past few weeks at 599$. with either mag style. I think I bought the next to last one they had or could get at that price. This gun makes my top 3 list of all I own. Id sell mine but would have to have $2000 for it. LOL
  13. Randy Welcome to the forum here.!! Do not let the “technical group” get you down. I am sure they mean no harm and they also knew what you mean by “clip”. Do not be scared to ask any questions even if you do not use the right terms. Some guys like myself tend to get off topic. How long should you keep an ammo clip full? As long as you want to. What are most routines for keeping clips form wearing out the spring? You cannot stop wear. Just use them and buy new ones, as you need them Do you leave a clip empty and rotate with other clips? I load as I need the mag and shoot . By doing so they will fall in a natural rotation.
  14. Quick review The extractor, ejector, magazine release button, manual safety and cocking handle are easily reversible for right or left hand use. Weight 5 ¾ ponds. Overall length of 29.7 inches 16 inch barrel. This gun is blast to shoot. From the bench I held around 2 inch groups at 50 yards with cheap ammo. Quick to get on target. It has a simple and reliable straight blowback action and yes it will get dirty quick but it came with a cleaning kit. LOL This is one gun Ill never Sell
  15. Most times I buy a case or half case of ammo when I buy a new gun. After buying my new CX4 Storm I went online looking for 9mm. I was shocked to see a lot online was out of stock or had a back order. So I went to Wal-Mart and they had plenty. Even with tax their price was still better than anything I found online In or Out of stock. I got the Winchester white box 100rds at $19.86 so I bought the limit of 6 boxes. I guess it pays to buy local sometimes. Plus I get to shoot sooner!!
  16. Cool those are things I can make myself.
  17. I have no problem with FMJs in a 380. I see little use of HJP in a 380 for SD. This is just my view as I know many will not agree.
  18. Stopped by TCGD (Tri-Cities Gun Depot) and seen Mr. Tom and Mr. Brian. As always they are great! I bought this Beretta CX4 Storm they had on hold for me. I was rather shocked as to how this gun feels in hand. It is built Rock solid. I got home with it and tore it apart in about no time at all. Very easy to strip down. The insides look very well made. The front and rear iron sites flip down to aid you in the use of optics. I cant wait to take it out and shoot a few in it. Also as a side note I got a new TCGD T-shirt………….. Thanks Brian and Tom.!!!
  19. Thanks PW. Just trying to make something new and a bit diffrent.
  20. One word pops comes to mind about this. Communication Or the Lack of. Im glad nothing nothing went wrong. Just ask them to let you know when something out of the norm is going on.
  21. ahh I have a few to add..........
  22. If its a long trip or I know Ill be driving around all day on a bunch of short trips, I use an Ankle Holster I draw right hand and carry inside the left ankel.
  23. So what do you guys think? New Aluminum FLUTED grips for the P238 These have alot more grip over the stock plastic ones. I will also do a all black soon
  24. I own 3 of the guns on that list and I would carry, use and trust any one of the 3. (in my hands) Most flaws in the semi auto handguns use are user related. Boils down to knowing your gun and taking care of it the right way. And yes I own a few guns that I do not know very well yet. But Id not carry them.
