  1. I do hate the fact that the AR bug is a sickness. I started with a simple AR and then added a few things to it and got to thinking I wanted a different upper to play with. An AR with 2 different uppers would be cool and useful (so I thought) Well I received my different upper and that same day placed an order for a new lower for the new upper. So now I have a 2nd AR and didn’t really mean to. The upper is an AR57 16” shooting the FN 5.7 round. Spikes Fake Can CAR-2 ( I Just love the looks) adds no length. The Lower is a Rock River. Added a Magpul front flip sight and a Yankee Hill rear flip. A few rail ladders and I AM DONE with this AR. I promise! 50 rounds! I cant wait to empty a few mags! ( I am looking at the S&W AR)
  2. What is different about a SBR stripped lower than any other lower?
  3. Ill also be glad to start another game and leave this one if another wants in this one. To many auto sets for me anyways. I kinda like a bit of input on the team.
  4. As a side note: make sure to look at BYES. You dont want to have all your WRs or RB or QBs off on the same week.
  5. I understand that some cant make it. But those who cant can set the draft to auto pick per their list. This way we can have both the auto and then allow those who can draft do their picks. As I see it the auto draft picks the first best player available on the list. You can set ( or rank) your own list of players. I ran a few mock drafts and it don't take long. maybe 20 - 30 mins Even more so when the Snake is used
  6. Call me lost.... When and how is the draft? Do we have a draft order? Thanks
  7. Thanks for the reply's from everyone. I know about the electric knife but have never seen one done that will look as I want it to look. The freeze thought sounds good but to dry out the foam might take a long time? Guess I will just buy or build a hot wire set up.
  8. LOL
  9. Anyone in east TN have a hotwire set up to do some foam cutting? Id like to do a case for my AR and extras. I want to put the AR and scope Extra Upper Mags and maybe a Handgun If anyone has done this and has a hotwire I can use Ill be glad to pay you for your help and time. Thanks
  10. what type/brand of rail did you buy??
  11. Im SIGPOWER
  12. Lets type.
  13. Id be in.
  14. Thanks! I have a few images and short thoughts on it. Check this link: http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/show-tell/42872-ar-so-far-3.html#post569700
  15. Have to dress em up and me em like you like em first don't you? Soon as it cools down a bit Ill be out shooting. I also have a new add on coming in a few days.hehe
  16. Best looking one of the bunch so far.
  17. Here is the Magpul UBR. Fully extended it is about 1 inch longer than the fixed A2 stock. It is a bit heavier but that is no factor to me. The stock feels rock solid. The cheek rest stays put when you adjust the length and that is a plus to me. You can preset the length adjustment. It locks into place very tight. Id feel good to use a butt stroke with this stock on the gun. I did take the storage covers off to give it the skeleton look. Overall: Very well built Sturdy Perfect function A bit high priced A touch heavy Glad I bought it. Next to buy is an CAR Upper. Maybe a AR57.
  18. Your welcome Erick. Maybe others will use it. seems around 9 PM EST there is a few there each night. TGO Chat Room
  19. And I thought that was an invitation...........
  20. What is your AR weighing in at? I just weighed mine and it was 10.7 pounds Time to hit the gym.
  21. Thanks! Magpul UBR is installed. I really love the look and FEEL of this new stock. Hope to go test it in a day or 2
  22. A few more images before the UBR.
  23. Thanks everyone. As per my research I see nothing bad about the UBR. I have one on order along with the enhanced rubber butt-pad 0.70 ( not that I need it on an AR I just thought it looks better) Ill post my thoughts when I add it to my AR.
  24. The YHM smooth Hand Guards are nice, they did come with tapped holes where you can add extra rails if you wanted. The holes do not appeal to me. So I found some set screws and some button head screws that fit the holes. I know it is up to me but I am torn as to what one look best. The button heads do stick out a small bit but they are smooth to the touch plus they give you some instant feedback as to where you hand is placed. The set screws I can set at flush or below the surface so you do not notice them at all to the touch. So what do you guys think? Set screw: Button head screws:
