I find the back pocket to be a quicker draw for me. So most any jean works well. I use to carry in the front but soon found to be in the way.

I picked this up and I hope it is an OK one. This is my 2nd AK and the first I only shot a few rounds but I will shoot this one more . My question is what do I have? Im not up at all on AKs. The Import marks on the side say: AK47 C RPG ARMS HOUSTON TX On the bottom it says: Elk River Houston TX Model ERTD I know what the stock and forearm is along with the trigger as they are marked. Seems like a nicer AK than my first one.

The FFLs I use will accept guns from out of state with a copy of the sellers drivers license ( to show who they revived the gun from) No matter how its get to the shop. By UPS USPS FEDX or me carrying the gun in. Once the background check runs the gun is then mine. No bill of sale involved.

One slight problem I have seen with the PSA lowers (and it may not matter to some) The hole for the grip screw is not tapped all the way. On the last 3 I have used from them the last 1/2 of threads was missing. Not a big deal as a 1/4x28 tap is only like 4$ This is a problem when you try to use a set screw to remove some of the pre travel on the AR trigger. Just thought I would give you guys a heads up on what i have found.

I am having a small shoot and cookout September 17. Anyone want to meet.? 9AM until about 4 PM We can grill, shoot and I have a small lake that can even be fished in. There is plenty of room to set up a handgun range and a rifle range. This would be in East TN just east of Rogersville 37857 (if you want to Google it.) So far I know 5 that will be there. I need to know who will be there for sure as I will lock the gate at 10:00 AM for safety reasons (shooting) Just PM me if you want to join in and maybe bring a bit of fix-ins. On Freedoms and Rights: Just because we have a constitutional right to do something, or not have something done does not mean you can automatically do it or receive that right. Per the States Constitution (Not the United States Constitution) we have the right to vote. But to keep order and do this in a fashion to be fair to most we need to register to vote. All rights have a price. Be it a major one that someone gave their life for to defend or a few moments and monies on your part to obtain. This is just my thought. We have those who interpret our Constitution differently. And to keep those who do so somewhat happy we agree to rules and laws that we can all live by. You voted “those” into the position to do so when and if you vote each election. This is not say I will 100 percent agree with those I vote for on their interpretation nor do I expect you to agree 100%. It is all part of a big give and take situation.
