  8. Thanks guys. Let me be a bit more clear. I do Not want a Bolt gun. I want the most accurate 22 Semi Auto I can buy or build for around 1000$ This is for nothing but the self pleasure of 50-100yd shots on paper. Im looking at Clark barrels or Volquartsen after I have done more research. And it looks like the 10/22 is about the only game in town to build on.
  9. Thanks for the input. Any others?

  17. I guess I missed the email on this LOL. Sorry if someone has posted this before. its news to me. Ebays rules have changed a bit it looks like. The following gun parts and accessories are allowed on the eBay US site only. The seller must be in the US and offer domestic shipping only: En bloc clips Barrels Bolts Choke tubes Cylinders Firing pins Hammers Magazines with a capacity to accept 10 rounds or less (high-capacity magazines that can accept more than 10 rounds are not allowed) Slides Trigger assemblies

  19. To bad I didnt make it. Sounds like it was fun............................ Guess I need to buy a camper shell for my truck.
  20. After a few months I finally took my M1A out and did some real shooting. First I used Tubbs Final Finish. 50 round to fire-lap the barrel or barrel lap ( this only recommended on new barrels. ) 50 rounds shot at 30 secs apart and cleaning the barrel every 5 rounds was a slow task but I think it was well worth it. I shoot a bit with the Weaver 4X scout scope and soon took it off. As I found at 100yds I could do just as well if not better. The 4 power just isn't enough for my eyes. I was soon making groups around 3 in from my bench. I shot a total of 200 rounds. Now I have some 308 brass to load up.
  21. Really David? I tried and couldn't get mine to cycle. Ill try some more and change my seating depth. That might work?
  22. Now you need some green tips!
  23. Id love to go but looks like to much rain between me and the shooting area. As I haul my gear in the back of my open truck. So Ill have to pass this time . cry cry cry.
  24. I tried to get a EBR card. My AR needs to be fed. I don't make enough money to get a EBR card
