    CZ P07 Duty

I've not kept up with the issues, but IIRC the main issues were with the first batch of P07's. As far as I've read all those issues were corrected over a year ago. As to the infamous "frame bulge", I was the first one to report and send it in for this and it is a non issue. My Rami does the same thing and there have been no problems associated with the cosmetic flaw.

    CZ P07 Duty

I had a P07 about two years ago as well and didn't have any issues with it. The only thing I didn't like was at the time there were no holsters, sights, or parts available. Now there are and it has me thinking about another one. I currently carry a 2075 Rami P that I really like. Here is the link to my review of my P07. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/handguns/25100-cz-p07-range-report.html
  3. Yep, the guy who wants to legalize crack is definitely a better politician.
  4. Exactly. Government cannot regulate what is good only try to prevent what is bad. When you throw absolutes out the window you get either a socialist government or a dictatorship.
  5. Some of you guys ..... You want an idealist until they are ideal. You want a politician until they are political. As far as marriage goes, this is a prime example of what happens when government takes something that was solidly and culturally understood and makes it "better". BTW - anarchy is NOT freedom. Freedom is the absence of negative consequences.
  6. It reads more difficult than it really is. Bring it by and I can walk you through what you need and how to do it. It is very simple.
  7. Some of them are EXTREMELY hard to push all the way forward. Just keep pushing. One we had in the store, it took two of us to get it forward.
  8. You will never use the FA. The dust cover is nice to have. The biggest thing to remember is that if you ever want to sell your AR the sporter versions will not fetch the best price.
  9. When you get ready to convert that thing, check out carolinashooterssupply.com Home Page. If you need any help with just come by and ask. I love playing with those things. Saiga 12's are the funnest 12g's I've have ever shot .
  10. Walther, while handled by S&W, is a separate process. As far as his original problem the laser was not just hard to turn on it was down right difficult and took a LOT of pressure. I hope they get it fixed for you quickly. The few times I have used them personally I was pleased.
  11. Only if you push a button not fixed to the blade. Assisted opening knives are perfectly fine as long as you push on something attached to the blade, like on the Gerber I posted.
  12. I really like the Gerber Applegate/Fairbairn F.A.S.T. It is the cheaper version of the same knife. Sharpen both sides and you have a tried and true fighting knife as well as working well as a everyday carry knife. I carry one and really like it. It's also spring assisted opening. They go for $35 to $50 with the better ones running in the $70-90 range. I also really like my Cold Steel Recon 1 Tanto. It's a little large and heavy for EDC, but excellent knife. These run in $80 range.
  13. Saiga's are the best you can buy of an assembly line. Plus you get the added cool factor that it is a "true" Russian AK. I also agree with Caster, but I went the other way. I've had a bunch of AR's in multiple calibers and platforms and I just don't like them as much. I prefer the AK any day. That being said it is purely a personal decision. It is six of one and 1/2 dozen of the other. Some like high maintenance super models and others prefer the girl next door. I'm a girl next door kinda guy.
  14. or crap in your truck
  15. Like has been said, the entrances (roadways are posted) however, they are not legal postings since you can not post roadways. The entrances around the mall are governed by the GPD and as such are considered public right of ways and can not be legally posted.
  16. The name in the game for CZ's is Angus Hobdell. CZ Custom Shop They have all the parts and can do any of the work you need done. They are also very good at answering any questions you might have.
  17. I don't think there is any mods you can do to the P07. Polymer frame so no grip changes and the internals use the Omega system, which is better tuned from the factory, but not as workable as the 75.
  18. PM Beowulf50. If anyone has any experience with them it's Tad. I'm pretty sure he has some IIRC.
  19. Eh, the accuracy claims are less accurate than the rifle. It is as accurate as near any semi-auto 30/30 out there. It's inaccuracy claims are wildly exaggerated or compared apples to oranges. The ballistics of the round itself is not a direct comparison to say 5.56. However, the power of the 5.56 is not a direct comparison to the x39. There is also very little match grade ammo for the x39 like there is for 5.56. Using Wolf ammo, the accuracy between a x39 and 5.56 are not as far apart as some like to believe. As far as what it has going for it, is far more than looks and bad press. It is an extremely reliable, useful weapon that is more battle worthy in more environments than just about any other weapon used today. Not to mention the round is more along the lines of the 30/30, which is considered to be one of the most utilitarian rounds out there behind the 30-06, .270, and .308. Long range sniper .. no. Everything else ...yep:D As far as building one, you will have to build 4 or 5 to break even. That is unless you already have all the jigs, presses, welding equipment, etc. It's not plug and play like an AR
  20. WASR's aren't "bad" in and of themselves. After all an AK is an AK no matter where it comes from. Meaning it should run and shoot anything you feed it. However, WASR's tend to not have the best finish or wood parts, but that is easily fixed. When people talk about a bad AK, they are generally referring to a canted front sight, gas block, or the finish being cheap. In the past Century did not do a very good job of putting those items on straight when they did it in house. Century is now subbing out their AK assembly and the product is much better. The best way to fix a "bad" AK is with a mallet and spray paint.
  21. That's why you wear SOCKS with sandals .... duh!
  22. LOVE the Uzi! Can't wait to get me another one (not the FA one, however. )
  23. Those are awesome. The only negative is that they are not AK compatible. Mags and parts are not interchangeable.
  24. It should be said that current Century's are being sub-contracted and are nothing like their in house guns of old. That being said the best you can get is a converted Saiga. Whether you do it yourself or get a good Redjacket or similar you will be well ahead of anything else out on the market.
  25. Pretty easy to make it so. Ratworx has the lefty bolts in stock.
