  1. Yeah, I'm not carrying papers or requesting permission to travel across state lines.
  2. My biggest thing is that by going from a pistol to an SBR, I am now crippled on transporting, crossing state lines, vehicle carry, and carry ability with my current HCP. I prefer to keep them in pistol status and wait this thing out. I got used to the Uzi push/pull sling method before the brace and if necessary will go back to that method.
  3. Pm sent
  4. Anyone see this story? Cool hunt and massive Colorado Mountain Lion. Wolfe is 6'5 btw. https://www.google.com/amp/s/kdvr.com/news/local/derek-wolfe-kills-huge-mountain-lion-in-colorado/amp/
  5. Sort of. Those engineers are having to work within legal system constructs and not just pure mechanics. They are also designing on a mass production model, so the tolerances are accounted for to ensure the widest range of base functionality. The whole 1911 thing is a good example. Military grade 1911's were the AK's of the handgun world. Incredibly loose and not terribly accurate without work. Customization is what makes them great guns. So much so, that nearly all 1911's made currently are customized 1911's based on one off's of the past. That being said, I prefer minimal customizing when I buy second hand and I tend to customize parts that can be taken back to stock fairly easily or with known proven parts. I tend to stay away from custom colors, frame modifications, stippling, relief cuts etc.
  6. Anyone, have 12g lever? Seems like a really cool idea.
  7. The EDC will get many good responses. As for a fixed battle blade, contact Grand Torino here on the forum. He'll make you a custom to your specifications for a very fair price. I've bought several of his builds and had a commissioned camp knife that is phenomenal.
  8. Yes. They are usual in a rubber or thick plastidip type case.
  9. That's beautiful. Between the gun and holster, there's just a lot of perfect.
  10. Glock 19 Gen 5 with Legion Precision Barato Urban Warfare cut slide. Slide is optic cut for RMR. OEM barrel, Ameriglo GL-329 suppressor night sights. No box, 3 OEM mags. Has had 100 rnds through it. $550 trades considered. Nashville area.
  11. It does. What a conditional means is that there is something with a flag but they can't verify it. The FFL, without knowing what the flag is for, assumes all legal responsibility for the transfer if they continue with the transaction. The only way to clear it up, is with a lawyer or contact the tbi directly. A lot of times if you wait a few weeks, and run it again it'll clear.
  12. These are great HD shotguns. IAC Hawk 982 12g. If your unfamiliar, these are Chinese Remington 870 clones. In many experts opinion, better. Steel is a higher quality than what Remington is currently using. Color is called "cast iron" $sold Nashville area. - peep sights, - 6 shot side saddle - Hogue 870 12" lop stock - Choate 870 +1 mag extension -Rem stainless mag follower - Rem mag spring. - Choate 870 forearm
  13. No one you want to deal with will do that. Also, the next FFL would have to run a new background check. Having an active conditional would cause even more problems and delays on the second round. Best bet is to wait the appeal out. It's frustrating, but it's the only way. It usually gets cleared up fairly quickly. I had one one time due to a guy in Oregon who was a felon that had the same first name and his social was 2 digits off mine. Got cleared up fairly quickly. Never had an issue again.
  14. That assumes simple linear logic. You have to consider that the legal/political system likes to use a complex parabolic logic (relative rationalism). It's a lot easier to manipulate that way. It's how the IRS, ATF, FBI, etc exist. Don't underestimate their will.
  15. Looking for an Aero M4E1 stripped lower in black. Nashville area.

    SBR gas block

I don't shoot supposed, so I like to set mine where they minimize recoil and still cycle everything. The cost between an Anderson or similar adjustable gas block is not much, so it makes sense. I'll shoot some really light standard loads and dial it down till it starts to have failures to eject. Then, slowly work it back up till it cycles consistently. Makes it about the most comfortable reliable shooting possible. Necessary? No, but I can and it works. I adjust the Superlative Arms the same way (11" pistol AR), but I like that on hot loads or dirtier loads, the gas bleeds off the block instead of fouling the bolt/bolt carrier. Makes the recoil impulse the same across every load. That being said the two AR's I shoot the most are pistons. One Adams and one Superlative Arms. If I was shooting suppressed or really needed to dial the gas, that's the way to go.
  17. Check with Willis68
  18. Did you ever get the new scope? Did removing the FH make a difference?
  19. Well, I've got four of them .... So, yes?

    SBR gas block

My personal favorite is the Superlative Arms. It bleeds off gas instead of just restricting the gas. The SLR is also a great adjustable gas block. I've also used the Strike Cage adjustable collar gas block. Very user friendly and tooless adjustability.
