  1. I carry my M&P in a Raven daily (copy at least). NTAC, SharkTac, AtomicDog, and Crown Holsters all make what you are looking for. I have used SharcTac and NTAc and have been well pleased with them. They are all esentially the same and use the same hardware. http://www.ntacholsters.com/store/WsDefault.asp?One=14 http://www.sharktac.com/ http://atomicdogholsters.com/Atomic/Main.html http://www.crownholsters.com/store/
  2. I like the demo. Some folks, especially the newer guys, seem to have a hard time figuiring out how to post pics and leave out usefull info that the demo system seems to mandate. Go with the newer one.
  3. CDNN is a distributor who publishes and sells to individuals at wholesale prices. You'll find a lot of dealers (and rightly so) don't like them very much. That being said I've bought stuff from them that is hard to find. They seem to get a lot of the overstocks, blemishes, discontinued stuff ect.
  4. Add to that it is more stable. It won't have any wobble to it like drop in HG tend to have. It also gives you more versatility and like others have said mostly .... it looks better. The exception is the Magpul MOE HG. Those things lock in there tight, don't wobble and give you the same versatilty with the added bonus of lighter weight and much cheaper cost. Only negative is the still put pressure on the barrel. I still like free float handguards though! Here are the Troy TRX rails I put on mine. Really light and you can add rails anywhere you want.
  5. I can't recommend them highly enough! Great service! Yeah, the hood is a great place to pick up stuff off the record. I've found some great deals in the trunk of 70's Caddy's! J/K Carolina is great to deal with. Pick up just about everything there.
  6. Could be the charges of "slavery" came out only after the maid was in fear of being deported. Happens fairly often. Just playing devils advocate here since it is easy to assume the wealthy parties guilt. Then again if you lie, cheat and steal to sneak into a country illegally and then expect everyone else to be upfront and honest with you, this will happen.

    CZ P07 .40 Rocks!

I had one of the P07's when they first came out and REALLY liked them. At the time I couldn't get holsters or sights or anything for it so I sold it. I would get another one if I had a need.
  8. Anyone who doesn't have the ability to contact friends or family for help, is one who is a user and more than likely not to be trusted.
  9. Haha, David does a good job adding these things and making things better. Funny thing is all these new guys worrying about Itrader ratings when a lot of the older members have had dozens of transactions that didn't use any system of feedback. We used to know everyone and who we could trust by sceen names alone. I guess it's just growing pains.
  10. CZ-P01. If it is just step up from the HP then Everest is just a step up from Death Valley! Seriously, you will be able to shoot the P01 more than the others and ammo is easy to find and cheap. Plus a CZ is just an incredibly comfortable, ergonomic, accurate shooting gun.
  11. Only had that experience once when I workred nights, 3 AM at an Exxon in Madison. I was the at one end of the pumps and a car pulls up at the other end. Two guys got out looking around, split up and started walking towards me. One guy was circling the pumps getting on my 9 and the other guy was slowly heading straight to me. We made eye contact and he stopped so we just stared at each other for a few seconds as I bladed myslef and rested my hand on the grip of my holstered gun casually. He finally turned around and they both got in the car and left. I finished pumping my gas and quickly got in the car locked the doors and left!
  12. You guys are missing the forrest for the trees. We are talking about property RIGHTS. The owner isn't asking you to leave and no one is arguing his ability to do so this is an At Will Work state. We are talking about when the employer ask/invites/accomodates your presence vluntarily can he then arbitrarily violate other rights with search , seizure, or legal jeopardy YOUR property once there. Again, we are not talking about tresspassers - refer to above. Why are you agruing against your own statement? You can't agrgue for ones absolute property rights while denying anothers. Is your vehicle your property or not? If it is then you have to apply property rights accordingly.
  13. While it is MUCH easier to have a vice and AR block, I have always installed free float HG in my living room using my knees! You will need a good AR barrel nut wrench. I am partial to the Troy TRX rails myself and the YHM Lo-pro gas blocks. The good thing about the Troys is that they come with the needed tool.
  14. Then why does he also get to be the "king of my kingdom" (vehicle)? You can't argue property rights one way. My wife doesn't become his just becasue we are at his house.

    New AK!

That kinda my point. Unless you go the route I did and get it with the front end already converted you are going to be very close to an Aresenal when it's all said and done the old way. Right now I've got less than $600 in it. That's over $200 less than an Aresnal. Of course I used to be able to do these a LOT cheaper. I guess words gotten out.

    New AK!

Right now they are running in the sub $550 range I used to get Red Jacket to do my front end work and he only charged me $100 in labor to remove and install the new parts (VERY cheap compared to others I asked). I would refinish them myself. So if you take a Saiga @ $375ish, +$70 HG, +$40 Gas tube, +$50 GB, +$25 FS, and +20 HG retainer. you would come out to to about $580 without paying for labor just to convert the front end. Add labor and you are close to $700 and you haven refinished it or converted the back end. Pretty good deal IMO. BTW - I still have to plug the back holes. I've got an internal reciever block and ACE stock, but I think I'm going to put that on the Tantal I've got coming and put the Polish folder on this one.
  17. This technically is not a 2A versus property rights. It is property right vs. property right. Ironically one persons rights to property can not trump anothers, yet that is exactly what we have allowed to happen. It would be like someone claiming my marriage is temporarily void while I'm at someone else's house. Don't think that's going to happen.

    New AK!

Well, I decided to "build" another one. I decided to tryy one of the new IZH-332 Saiga's that have the front end converted at the Izhmash factory. This makes a full conversion much easier and cheaper since I didn't have to hunt down the parts and then send them off to have installed. The only drawback is that the reciever doens't have "dimples", but most of them till recently didn't either so it's not that big of a deal. I'm gonna leave this one kinda basic. I'm really diggin the Molot grip. These thing are great! BTW the threads are 24x1.5 and the front trunnion was flat onth is reciever. Every other one I've had was round. Outside of converting the rear end the only other thing I had to do was cut the thread protector off the front sight block. Here she is! before: (stock photo) After:
  19. Seriously? He was the result of one of the biggest drama/buddy buddy nonsense issues that show has seen. They didn't cry but he and the George guy were just ridiculous in their man love.
  20. It's kinda of apples and oranges. The Saiga is a far better gun in every respect, but it's in a different form. You can get one of the new Saiga IZH-332 that has the front end already converted for less than a WASR. Which makes a full on conversion a LOT easier if you decide to go that route down the road. or you can get a Saiga IZH-132 tha already has the back end converted. Cost about the same as a WASR. Let me know when you are coming by the shop and you can see the difference in a converted Saiga (the IZH-332) and a WASR.
  21. Benefit of the doubt on ambiguity and keeping with the COC of maintaining good relations with fellow members. Just sayin.
  22. I apologize for getting off topic on an off topic post. These threads are supposed to be geared to the OP and I did assume it was in regards to that. I certainly agree with you on some of the other nonsense post that were made, but I was ignoring them as the ignorance that they were. Miscommunication on my part for assuming as I accused you of doing. Really thought this thread is getting hard to follow. Seems there are about three or four different rabbit trails going.
  23. Oh, agreed. Some of those post are really out of place both in regards to morals and the OP.
  24. The moral dilemma is one that is assumed, not in fact. This thread has turned into some major moral dilemma that was neither presented or asked, but inferred by OTHERS who assumed they knew the intention of the OP. According to the OP he opened the can not knowing what it was and the dealer was closed so he couldn't call once he realized the error. Whether or not he called first thing this AM and paid for it or sent it back is not known. Give the guy a break, relax on solving the worlds morality issues on an internet forum, and climb down from the ivory tower. I don't know TNT well enough to vouch for what he will do, but the interactions I've had with him lead me to believe that he has been completely taken out of context and fully intends to do the right thing. It would have been as equally easy (and morally right BTW) to assume he was asking in innocence rather than assume he was some moral-less thief.
