  1. Haha, nah not nuggets. Strips of chicken breast breaded and fried.
  2. Yep.
  3. I did a wedding for an old farmer in Arkansas and he paid me in some of the most delicious farm raised, home cooked chiken tenders I've ever had! I like the barter system myself
  4. After looking at the AKARS more I don't like it. Too complicated for what it needs to be. To each his own, but I'll stick with the TWS. BTW - The TWS also has a BUIS that actually increases the sight radius and makes a big difference.
  5. Haven't heard of these yet, but the Texas Weapons System (which it looks like Parabellum copied) has been throughly tested and indeed works. I had one on an AK I sold and plan on getting them for my other AK's. http://texasweaponsystems.com/id1.html
  6. I bet you're a joy to be around!
  7. So you don't like that reasoning going one direction, but you then apply that same reasoning to condem Zimmerman as a murderer?
  8. Could very well be, but when every story I've read starts off with a racial slant that is errant in the facts leads me to defer judgment till more facts are available. He wasn't charged and has only become an issue due to the ongoing erroneous claim that this was a black child shot by a white man. Zimmerman is clearly hispanic by his statements and photo from a multicultural family. While he may very well be guilty of stupidity and possibly chargeable offenses, when a story is this factually errant and emotionally driven, justice will not be the outcome as evidenced by the knee jerk condemnations in just this detached thread on a gun board in TN. As to the directions of the 911 operator, they are also notoriously documented as recommending against any individual response, preferring only police action to self defense. They are not legal advisors nor are they informed enough to make any judgment calls or recommendations.
  9. So you prefer the guilty till proven innocent system. Interesting.

    Bullpup 870!

Depends on what realm you're in. In the this realm $279 (pre-order) or $359 once they are in full production.

    Bullpup 870!

Nah, been watching this for awhile being developed on bullpupforum.com and I think it its one of the few that actually works better than the standard platform. I was watching the Kushnapup, but it doesn't look like it will ever make it to the market. Plus, the Kushnapup winds up being really expensive.

    Bullpup 870!

These are sweet. http://www.bullpupunlimited.com I like it better than the idea of the unicorn bullpup (KSG ). Mainly becasue it can be swtiched back, uses AR grips & safety, and parts will be easy to find. Capacity is a little lower than the KSG but you also don't have to switch a lever to get excess rounds and let's face it - if you can't get it done with 6-9 rounds of 12g it ain't getting done. Not knocking the KSG, just think this is more practical. Plus after getting my hands on a cheap knock off 870 (IAC Hawk) price is easy on the wallet.

    Got my new shotty

Not yet. I think they are waiting to see how they are recieved in the market. I really like the 887. A well done shotgun.
  14. Headdresses and jewelry for the ruling elite ... sounds somewhat familiar to the current system
  15. The only way metals are valuable are in a somewhat "stable" or structured economy. You will either have a monatary economy or a barter economy. In a barter economy precious metals are nearly worthless. That being said, if you have precious metels AFTER the rise from a collapse ... then you have something. Think Rockafeller and Carnagie.
  16. Yep, first good hit and he's out for several games if not the season/career. Thing is they are also going to trade Tebow and then they have nothing. Maybe they can get Orton back
  17. Sheesh, haven't you seen Judge Dredd!? Works great!

    SW M&P9's

I'm on my third and haven't had any issues. In fairness I don't get to shoot a lot but I've never had issue one with them. The fact that the government is looking at them and many police departments have switched to them says something. All stainless metal parts, melonite on top of that, lifetime warranty, and great ergos are what brings me back to them. Not to mention they are American made. I have heard of people breaking the tab off of the the little tool in the grip, but that seems fairly isolated.
  19. Slow news day.
  20. Yeah, they like to roll that out every year at Shotshow.
  21. The Barnes Varmint Grenade is awesome!
  22. One problem, we use the Roman calendar with leap years - the Mayans did not. By their calendar we are already in 2013.
  23. Because, It would be the hypocrisy of all hypocrisies.
  24. The reason Romney will get the nomination is not because of the GOP. Romney will get the nomination because of Ron Paul. The same reason we got the first Clinton administration, thanks Perot. We would be far better of if the conservatives would ban together, compromised on some of the social stuff in the sort term then fought it out at the top. Instead of always trying to split a ticket at the bottom. That's the irony of the whole thing. The GOP insiders could have been defeated long ago but remain because some of the most conservative/libertarians in the party have to have it all or nothing. We have gotten nothing. With Pauls ties to Romney it may just well be that he IS splitting the ticket for Romney. If so, Paul loses all credibility in my book.
  25. I have no words ....
