    Bullpup 870!

Nah, been watching this for awhile being developed on bullpupforum.com and I think it its one of the few that actually works better than the standard platform. I was watching the Kushnapup, but it doesn't look like it will ever make it to the market. Plus, the Kushnapup winds up being really expensive.

    Bullpup 870!

These are sweet. http://www.bullpupunlimited.com I like it better than the idea of the unicorn bullpup (KSG ). Mainly becasue it can be swtiched back, uses AR grips & safety, and parts will be easy to find. Capacity is a little lower than the KSG but you also don't have to switch a lever to get excess rounds and let's face it - if you can't get it done with 6-9 rounds of 12g it ain't getting done. Not knocking the KSG, just think this is more practical. Plus after getting my hands on a cheap knock off 870 (IAC Hawk) price is easy on the wallet.

    Got my new shotty

Not yet. I think they are waiting to see how they are recieved in the market. I really like the 887. A well done shotgun.
  4. Headdresses and jewelry for the ruling elite ... sounds somewhat familiar to the current system
  5. The only way metals are valuable are in a somewhat "stable" or structured economy. You will either have a monatary economy or a barter economy. In a barter economy precious metals are nearly worthless. That being said, if you have precious metels AFTER the rise from a collapse ... then you have something. Think Rockafeller and Carnagie.
  6. Yep, first good hit and he's out for several games if not the season/career. Thing is they are also going to trade Tebow and then they have nothing. Maybe they can get Orton back

    SW M&P9's

I'm on my third and haven't had any issues. In fairness I don't get to shoot a lot but I've never had issue one with them. The fact that the government is looking at them and many police departments have switched to them says something. All stainless metal parts, melonite on top of that, lifetime warranty, and great ergos are what brings me back to them. Not to mention they are American made. I have heard of people breaking the tab off of the the little tool in the grip, but that seems fairly isolated.
  8. Yeah, they like to roll that out every year at Shotshow.
  9. The Barnes Varmint Grenade is awesome!
  10. One problem, we use the Roman calendar with leap years - the Mayans did not. By their calendar we are already in 2013.
  11. Because, It would be the hypocrisy of all hypocrisies.
  12. The reason Romney will get the nomination is not because of the GOP. Romney will get the nomination because of Ron Paul. The same reason we got the first Clinton administration, thanks Perot. We would be far better of if the conservatives would ban together, compromised on some of the social stuff in the sort term then fought it out at the top. Instead of always trying to split a ticket at the bottom. That's the irony of the whole thing. The GOP insiders could have been defeated long ago but remain because some of the most conservative/libertarians in the party have to have it all or nothing. We have gotten nothing. With Pauls ties to Romney it may just well be that he IS splitting the ticket for Romney. If so, Paul loses all credibility in my book.
  13. Sort of. IIRC, the umbrella the guy you are referring to had an umbrella handle that looked like a samurai sword hilt. It was in a mall.
  14. That's it. Easy and mechanical like an AK's supposed to be. As far as the cheap low pressure ammo, keep in mind that the Saiga is a military built weapon designed to use hot military rounds. The hotter it is the better. That being said the ones I've had in the past never had issues with the lower pressure stuff outside of the Walmart stuff.
  15. Problem with the .45, in that situation, is that it dumped all it's energy on impact and does nothing to maintain energy through penetration. This is why 9mm is used when penetration through glass, steel, armor, etc. is needed. 9mm maintains it energy better with less deflection and more penetration over a longer path through barriers than .40 or .45. No bullet will hit the target with any more energy than it leaves the gun. In other words, if it doesn't knock you down when you pull the trigger, the bullet energy will not knock the target down.
  16. If you want a BHO use the lever method. Doens't get in the way of your trigger and is a bit safer ... not having to put your finger that close to the trigger to actuate it. You can buy them or just use the standard AK tool .... the Dremel.
  17. I always use the Tapco retaining plate. Makes things a whole lot easier. That stupid little spring isn't worth the hassle and yes take out the BHO. It doesn't do anything except get in the way.
  18. Also note, the ATF classifies anyone who alters, enhances, or changes features of a firearm (while not changing classification) for profit - as a Gunsmith and needs the proper FFL for that as well.
  19. Yeah, after seeing how many people jumped in there I went ahead and ordered mine before the drawing was over. Works well.
  20. To "build" an AR you world have to get one of the 80% receivers or a block of aluminum and do the final drilling/machining yourself. Those do not require an FFL. AK flats likewise do not require an FFL until you put the slightest bend in it. Those are really the only ways to "build" an AK or an AR in your garage. Everything else is kit assembly where the "firearm" has already been registered with a manufacturer/importer.
  21. You can buy AK flats all day long ... from Tapco! http://www.tapco.com/products/ak_modern/index.php?_a=viewProd&productId=66 As to the second story, that's just funny. I can imagine the panic and sheer terror at the Airport. I think the one thing most folks forget to take into account is that the these guys from the backwoods of Louisiana. They are simple good Ol' boys who got thrown into the spotlight. Kinda like filming some the backyard BB Q's around here.
  22. What Sabre did and what happened at Red Jacket are worlds apart. Sabre was selling and moving guns intentionally on a large scale without tracking them properly through the ATF and State Department. It's like comparing Bernie Madoff with an average Joe IRS audit where they didn't check the right box. I hadn't seen the news report and I've searched high and low. As far as "flats" they are referring to AK flats that are not firearms till they are bent and there were two reported guns stolen between 2001 and 2008. Of Course the ATF gets to interpret that so it's hard to say. Will actually still holds the trademark to Red Jacket as well as being the owner of several entities under the Red Jacket moniker, just is not listed under the LLC portion that the show records. I believe he is the one listed under RJ International and a couple others. He and his lawyer both claim he is not prohibited from holding an FFL and chose to not be listed on the LLC for various business decisions. Know ones know for sure so I'll leave it with that. For some reason I keep getting drawn into this drama and I don't even watch the show! It's like the car wreck I can't help but watch.
