  1. He's got no life either way. If he's convicted he'll forever be in the same boat, if he is acquitted he will be seen as a product of a racist system. The media, race baiters, and arm chain, discussion forum, legal beagles have added tragedy to tragedy. They have destroyed a man before evidence, arrest, trial, conviction, or truth has been fully revealed. Whether he acted correctly, wrongly, illegally, or justified is not an issue any more and for that ... justice has become a secondary issue. Sad times.
  2. Marbles, Lyman, or XS sight. The tang sights looks great and fit the lever action period look and are adjustable. Between the Marbles and the Lyman, I'd say the Marbles. It's adjustable for elevation AND windage, while the Lyman you have to shim for windage.
  3. What Mike said. The wobble is usually a result of the WASR's original single stack receiver being opened up to accept standard double stack mags. The dimples mostly give the receiver more rigidity. They help a little with mag wobble. If it works, it it's fine.
  4. It takes more effort to think liberal and convince others to become liberal because it lacks basic logic and truth. As Clinton said, it's not a lie if you believe it.
  5. I got run over on my first bike while I was carrying off body. Told the EMT's and they secured it for me till the cops got there and the cop simply asked if I wanted to carry it with me to the hospital (in the ambulance) or if I wanted him to take it to the station for me. He suggested I take it with me and I concurred. Thought it was pretty easy and nice of the officer.
  6. Now you're treading on dangerous ground! All that other stuff may be fake but don't bring wrasslin down to that level. Heresy!
  7. I've had several of each and I prefer the M&P. Reasons being: stainless metal parts in addition to melonite finishing, grip angle, interchangeable back straps, ambi controls, and lifetime warranty. I prefer the size of the 19 but that's about the only thing I prefer about it. Both are great guns, both have plenty of holsters and parts, and both work well. I just can't get used to the grip angle of Glocks.
  8. We've got the Black Rifle thread, a Glock thread, a 1911 thread, and an AR thread so let's make one dedicated to the AK. Just curious as to what ever one is doing in the AK department. Here are my current ones: Polish Tantal AK-74 variant: Romanian Drako AK Pistol: Got a lot more funness to add to this! Here are some I don't have anymore, but still fondly reminisce: Saiga conversion I did. Red Jacket did the front end for me. Ace stock, internal reciever block, TWS top rail, SPARC red dot, YHM 5C2 FH. Nearly same as above minus the TWS Rail This started as an IZH-332 (Saiga). Just sold this one. Saiga I converted. Red Jacket did front end. This one had an East German Side Folder on it. This was my first Saiga conversion. Kobra optic I just realized they all look pretty much alike. Unfortunatley, I don't have any pictures of the Saiga 12's I've had.
  9. We've had quite a few folks buy guns that said they had expungements. Some went straight through, most get denied and then overturned on appeal. Now, that is taking them at their word on the expungement and everything else, but there have been enough that at least a few were true. The other issue is like what Metalhead said about how to answer the 4473 question and how the law views those Q&A. All that to say ... ask a real lawyer versed in gun law. Stegal comes to mind. He's a supporting vendor here.
  10. I think you are probably right. She's surrounded by a lot of people wanting to use her for THEIR gain. She's in grief and they are using that. I don't blame her for making irrational decisions or saying stupid stuff right now. It's sad that there are those that exploit these kinda things for their own benefit while throwing the true victims under the proverbial bus. "Never let a good crisis go to waste" rings a bell.
  11. Thought this was just hilariuos. Two articles on the "Most Corrupt States" and the "Least Corrupt States". Now mind you they didn't actually take into account actuall corruption just how "strong" the legislation is to prevent it. And libs wonder why their gun control logic doesn't work! Most Corrupt: http://bottomline.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/03/27/10812551-states-with-the-most-lax-anti-corruption-laws?gt=43001 1. Georgia 2. South Dakatoa 3. Wyoming 4. Virginia 5. Maine 6. South Carolina 7. North Dakota 8. MIchigan Least Corrupt: http://247wallst.com/2012/03/22/americas-least-corrupt-states/ 1. New Jersey 2. Conneticut 3. Washington 4. California 5. Nebraska ... and just for reference
  12. If you take the wheels off your bike, Cycle Gear will install the new ones for $25 a tire.
  13. Same problem as a castle. You don't have to break in you just don't let them out.
  14. How true. Problem is that human nature does not change.
  15. Well, those are the fancy ones. They should have more primer grey to them.
  16. Pick your kid up and a good swift kick right under the chin will stop most of them. For the rest, well, that's why we carry.
  17. That thing is awful! It's like putting a lift kit under a Pinto and putting 44 mudders on it! It's just wrong.
  18. You're wanting to argue the tree instead of the forest. I won't do you homework for you, but I will give you one hint. You live in the greatest country in the world that just happens to have been born and forged in the fires of oppression. We are the fruits of that labor
  19. I agree with what you deleted. My focus was not blacks, but any group that uses race as an excuse for mediocrity. Whether that be white, black, green, purple, whatever. I've seen just as much of it from other races.
  20. True. I'm not black so there's no way I can know. I'm the privileged white who is in denial. However, I am a white guy from Arkansas, who grew up in Memphis, who's been around the world, has a black sister, a Hispanic sister-in-law, German brother-in-law, with a history and a philosophy degree, and came from a family that came to America as debtors, criminals, and sharecroppers through South Carolina. What in the world does that have to do with statistical realities in the historical context? Again, segregation is bad, wrong, evil, and ignorant. My point has nothing to do with segregation. Rather it was to compare and contrast the black community during segregation and in it's current state to show that the so called "white privilege" theory has nothing to do with the current state of the decline of the black community as related to current perceptions of oppression. "White privilege" is a cop-out/excuse for this generations sub-mediocrity. "White privilege" is a simple test. If it is the source of black oppression currently, then the black community would be better now then they were under overt "white privilege" ie segregation. It doesn't hold water.
  21. Look at New York during similar periods. There is a reason there are different ethnic Burroughs in the major cities and it's not just because it made the place more interesting. You might need to broaden your experience. BTW - personal experience means little in this context. Also, didn't say times were better but as a culture they did better. Innovation, marriages, traditional family values, abortion rates, drug rates, violence rates, crime rates, fatherless children rates, education rates, prison rates, ..... Just about every quantifiable measurement of a healthy culture was better. Of course that is not an argument for segregation, just saying that the black culture was built on the backs of those who persevered then turned over to a spoiled and ungrateful generation who have settled for less than mediocre. That's also not to say this hasn't happened to other cultures and societies. Fairly common, it's how we get liberals.
  22. I should also add that the article itself is some of the most incredibly flawed nonsensical philosophical garbage I have seen in a while. If you deny it, you are socially ignorant racist almost by genetic default and if you agree it is because you are not part of the "privileged." Again, people trying to explain their mediocrity with intangible, unmeasurable, indefensible, emotional garbage. It's the same logic that claimed the world was flat and any one who disagreed was a heretic.
  23. "Racism" comes down to people (any race) looking for someone else to blame for their lack of character, success, or work ethic. I reality most people groups tend to do better under oppression. The black community in America actually did far better under segregation than they are now. Every societal statistic backs that up. This country thrived and exploded in ingenuity and character every time we were doubted. Keep in mind just about every ethnic group that came to America experienced racism. It made America what it is. Point is, it is difficult when you have everything to explain why you've done nothing with it. Racism, for a lot of people, is an easy emotional rationale for why they are cowards. These people use the brave character of a generation past like Paris Hilton uses her family name and fortune.
  24. Had to sell a couple but also found a Draco! Here are mine. Still have to SBR the Draco and get the Bullpups Unlimited stock or Spec-Ops stock, but other than that I'm pretty much done with these. Top to Bottom: IAC Hawk 982, Polish Tantal '74, Draco, Sabre build (Troy TRX, Tango Down Battle grip, MagPul BUIS, & Vltor Mod Stock), and my favorite Rossi '92 with Lyman Tang sight.
