  1. Absolutley! Down with Mitt! Give us Barabas. ... Uh, Obama! Come on man. Romey's not the best choice compared to Reagan, but if you can't tell the difference between Romney and Obama then you don't need to leave the house.
  2. Rossi does not sell barrels separate and the Wizard barrels will not fit. You might find someone who wants to get rid of just the barrel or you can just buy another gun. They aren't all that expensive.
  3. Keep in mind, generally it is not a good idea to have a President that is loved by everyone in his time. Remember when there was talk of getting rid of the 2 term law for Clinton or how long the "bad" Kennedy's were able to hold sway? I can only imagine if the others had lived! A little skepticism and distrust of government leaders is not a terrible thing. The irony is that Reagan was not loved in his time. He was billed as a terrible orator and the man who was bringing the end of the world. It is only after the fact that his legacy stands.
  4. No, you needed the government to provide you with "benefits" - instead of a job.
  5. Well, it worked so well for the CCCP (Russia). Right? Why does the Fed keeping borrowing ideas known to be abysmal failures?
  6. Yep, that's an emotionally based statement in an attempt to sound like the so called "independant" voice. Reality of facts - not the refered to emotional campaing sloguns - Obama is far from a moderate anything.
  7. Yep, the only reason he won't be the GOP nominee is because of a wide spread conspiracy that uses all the other candidates to their own detriment to specifically keep Ron Paul out.
  8. The grip on the CZ is a little thicker but more comfortable due to the grip panels. The HP can be made nearly identical with better grips. The stock HP grips are awful! As far as the CZ they make triggers that have less reach to them. They are fairly easy to drop in and you can get anything and everything CZ from Angus Hobdell at CZ Custom. He is the CZ competition shooter and gunsmith and is very nice to work with. Give them a call and they actually answer the phone and try to help you. http://czcustom.com/
  9. The one I let get away! This was my favorite one by far. As to Mikey's point:
  10. Ohhhhh, I love Hi-Powers!
  11. I bet you could save quite a bit of weight changing out the HEAVY RRA quad. I do like how the look and feel though. Nice gun.
  12. The Rossi M92's are nice guns for the money. I have one of the carbines and it is my favorite gun. I prefer the 16" or 18" barrel as you don't gain much velocity once you get over 18". Looking around the $450-$500 range if and when you can find them. They are pretty true Winchester 92's without the price. The wood isn't the nicest but that is easily fixable.
  13. C&R license.
  14. Yeah, the 10mm has it going on. Good point on the .40 having the ability to cross caliber. Actually, now that I think of it, that's what I always did with the .40's I've had. I love the .357 SIG, outside of finding ammo and cost. Can't you replicate .357 SIG with +p/+p+ 9mm?
  15. So give me a good argument for why someone would choose a .40 S&W over a 9mm or .45 ACP. From the latest studies I've seen, the difference between 9mm, .40, and ,45 ACP (in apple to apple defensive round comparisons) are within 2-5 percentage points. If I want small and fast, I'm going 9mm. If I want big heavy and doesn't need velocity, I'm going .45. IMO, the .40 does some of what the 9mm does but not the bets parts and some of what the .45 does but not the best parts. I have no problem with the round and I have had several, but I can't seem to find a compelling argument to choose it over the 9mm or .45 ACP. I know folks like them but what is the edge it posses over the others? Is there something real or is it something perceived? BTW - not intended as a caliber war, just a fun discussion.

    SW M&P9's

Sounds like the holster was not molded properly to allow clearance.
  17. Come by the shop and talk to Brock. He's doing it and droped a lot of weight.
  18. I use the TRX and love it. Light weight, slim, solid, and modular. Can't say enough about it. The Alpha looks pretty cool with the fold down front sight built in and I'm curious how the rail locks on the barrel nut, but it looks like a winner.
  19. I'd say it was fair. I always judge deals by how much money I could get out of it if I have to sell it. I'd say you'd be able to get you money out of that deal.
  20. I've got a Rossi/Puma 92 and LOVE it. It is by far my favorite rifle. Mine is the pre-safety version. It eats pretty much any ammo I feed it and with the hotter, Cor-Bon or Buffalo Bore ammo, it's pushing mid range 30-30 ballistics. IMO it is an ideal personal defense carbine. Light weight, easy to carry, easy to shoot, lots of available ammo, .357 is great for most game, and can be loaded down for smaller game with the .38. Add to it the reliabilty of the lever action and it's also an incredibly fun gun to shoot.
  21. From the hole in the end, it looks like a .22 or a bb/pellet gun.
  22. Was there a law passed that necessitated the warrants or what? Somethings amiss.
  23. That or get the kids to stop growing!
  24. Haven't been on a vaction with my family in 8 years but if you want to pony up the money and foot one more vaction bill, I'm game.
