Got a great lab from a member here a couple years ago and evidently one of the neighborhood dogs got in the yard and then in her kennel and now we have puppies. 9 to be exact. Moms had severe mastitis so they have been bottle feed since week one. They are now weaned off the bottle and eat puppy food like a champ! 4 weeks old. Little young but ready to go. Quicker they identify your family, the quicker they will bond. 3/4 lab and maybe a little pit. 3 brown and one black male, 3 black females and one grey female. Most have a small bit of white on their chest and toes.

Very, very sad for this young man's family and friends. Boredom is the reason given for a random murder. What say you Sharpton? Momma says the confessed killer was at home and a good boy. This story is so full of the clichés it's not even funny. Had to go to an Aussie paper to actually get pictures of the murderers and details about them. http://www.news.com.au/national-news/victoria/three-teens-accused-of-murder-of-baseball-player-chris-lane-identified/story-fnii5sms-1226700172461 and another American site. http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/teenagers-allegedly-murder-college-baseball-player-boredom-article-1.1431445

If you ever compared the trigger spring and hammer of an AK to an AR you will understand why you get light strikes with x39 ammo in the AR platform. 7.62x39 ammo primers can be fairly hard. You tend to have the same issues when you use some of the competition or aftermarket AK trigger springs. Feeding issues are due to mags not having the constant curve but rather the straight mag with a bend in the middle like Mike was saying. This is why they made the .300 blackout. Otherwise it's like converting a Ferrari to run on diesel or putting murders and a lift kit on a corvette. ;)

I also have a black lab that breed with what appears to be a lab/pit mix and ended up with 9 pups! 3 brown, 1 grey, and the rest black. Most of the black ones look just like your except they are only a hair shy of 3 weeks. Bad news is momma developed sever mastitis that so far has ruptured in two places. We are currently bottle feeding the litter. 4 kids under 10 yrs old, 9 3wk old puppies being bottle feed, and a momma dog that I have to treat open wounds and give biotics to and keep lo-key. It's fun around my house!

I'd there is a case here from the LEO, shouldn't he go after dispatch for not mediating the info better? Just saying, bigger pockets there. Makes as much sense as any thing else said here. ;)

Most manufactures had at least one price increase and most had two across the board increases since January. Wasn't really noticed during the craziness, but it is now.

He continually applauds the .357 and then equates the 9mm to the .380 throughout the entire blog. Defensive 9mm is nearly identical to a .357 (125g). Especially when you are looking at 124g +p and a standard 9mm is double the muzzle energy of a .380 in a heavier bullet. I think he means well, but far to much conjecture and his observations are tainted by his preconceived notions and disagree with actual scientific studies. Conclusion? same old song and dance that doesn't actually tell us anything.

Funny how the "civil rights movement" is destroying the Civil Rights Movement one stupid comment at a time. :shake: I find it appalling, embarrassing, and sadly it completely negates everything about the Emmett Till murder. All in an sad attempt to make Trayvon Martin relevant to a cause that doesn't exist. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/08/05/oprah-trayvon-martin-emmett-till_n_3707096.html

Pretty sure a guy that bought ammo this morning

Uh, no. Even if they filled the contracts in one year, it would only equate to 3%-4% of total production. Those contracts are over a 5 year period to begin with and haven't even begun to be filled. It's not helping but the only reason there is a shortage is that the demand from regular consumers is that high. I know it's hard to believe but there really are that many people buying that much ammo. If you just look at the shear number of NICS checks you will start to understand. Multiply that number exponentially with ammo consumption and there is your shortage. Manufacturers make ammo on schedules based on yearly projections. When those orders are increased dramatically overnight it takes them nearly a year to fully cycle production numbers up to meet demand. Even if the manufacturers started new lines it would take them the better part of a year to get a production tooling up and running. Then you have to train new employees to run tooling. It's not like making burgers at McDonald's. I'm told Kel-Tec doesn't even have the time to train new workers or they'd fall farther behind. Truly interesting times in the gun world. -

WalMart must feel same way even if there isn't a kickback involved. One TGOer lost his job reselling ammo he bought with employee discount. - OS Ruger rep said 14 managers were fired for buying stock and reselling it. Wouldn't surprise me. That being said the great thing about capitalism is that it will eventually self regulate. The swing will be in our favor at some point. Kinda like how AR's are starting to bottom out. Don't know where the bottom will be but it will be LOW. There will also be a thinning of the massive amount of startup middlemen. -
Best motorcycle route from Memphis to Nashville?
Smith replied to maroonandwhite's topic in General Chat
You could take 79 and then get on 1 up around Milan or go 70/1 all the way. I don't know about the first half of 1 but the second half is a real nice ride. -
So, which is it? They want her. They don't want her.
Smith replied to a topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Only according to Republicans. She couldn't even get close to the primary nod without Rush Limbaugh's help against an unknown nobody from Illinois who had only given one speech (at the time). I think they like to keep her propped up just enough to use her as a human shield for Bill and Barack. They have no intentions of letting some old wrinkled woman run the show. Good to see feminism in the democrat party really busting the glass ceiling they made. ;) -
No and your baiting is way off on many levels. Kinda like saying Republicans are conservatives. You do what you believe, Not what you say you believe.

You need to understand that "gotcha" is new school terminology for "I understand what you're throwing". Old schoolers don't get it. Just ask Rachel Jeantel. ;)

Convenient distraction or distraction for convenience?

No. They were built on our RPK receivers. 1.6 mm stamped.

S&W M&P fullsize holsters for outer waistband ?
Smith replied to tercel89's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
Raven or any of the clones. Zero Concealment, NTac, Sharktac, Atomic Dog, Crown all make Raven style holster without the wait. I personally like the Zero myself. Turnaround is under 30 daddy's and you can customise almost every aspect including color for $60. I've been using mine for several years now and it rides high and tight better than anything else I've ever used. -
CNC Warrior is really the only way to go. Run from anything that says Lancaster.

7.62x39 krinkov vs 5.45x39 krinkov
Smith replied to a topic in National Firearms Act (NFA) Regulated
By far the 7.62 and yes the 5.45 needs velocity just like the 5.56 it was designed to mimic. You don't really loose anything in the 7.62 in a shorter barrel. You still have the same sub 300m range and the power across all practical ranges is nearly identical. The same can not be said for the 5.45 -
Twinkie malfunctions are a common occurrence in my tactical drills. I find that carbo loading gives me stomach aches. Not sure what that video accomplishes?

Just looked at mine a bit close and there is a little wobble. Never noticed before and doesn't seem to be an issue for me but it is there. Speaking of triangle folders, I did see this ;) http://www.manticorearms.com/Triangle-Stock-MA-5100.htm Gives the look and feel of the triangle folder without the expense and headache of a com-bloc version. Uses the Stormwerkz or ACE folding mechanism.

To be fair there are about to be twice as many new jobs as are currently in the market. When Obama care kicks in full time jobs will be split in to two part time jobs. Instant job creation! :shake:
-
That raises my confidence a little. What I'd love to have is a Krink style folder on mine that locks up on the left hand side, but that takes a bit more professional work. I'll probably stick with something simple. Mine isn't a Draco though, it's built on a Polish receiver. Yes I'm not that bold to try to cut the front of my receiver. I've seen it done and it looks good though.
-
I've always liked the rear peep sight on an AK since I shot a buddy's Galil 15 years ago. The issue has always been the wobble in the receiver covers I've seen. Glad to hear that one is solid, I may do that to mine. I haven't figured out if I want it to look old school or tacticool yet. As bad as most top cover rails are it makes them all seem like a bad idea. The TWS and the Parabellum armament are completely different in how they attach that they just plain work. They are the only two I would ever use for anything semi serious. That being said I wouldn't use the Parabellum after reading enough issues of them not holding 0 with a heavier optic.
-
I'll add that one of the biggest pluses of the TWS rail is the rear peep sight. Even with the closer front sight of the Draco's front sight I have a 4" longer sought radius than my 16" AR! Also with the lower mount height I can get a correct cheek weld. Fixers the only issues the AK has. :-)
