  1. While I mostly agree with the intent, I think this is going to be a nightmare to arbitrarily enforce.
  2. Very Interesting!
  3. Anyone see this proposed legislation yet. Essentially would ban all lowers and receivers unless they are built into guns http://dailycaller.com/2013/08/14/federal-gun-bill-would-ban-ar-15-lower-parts-kits-barrels-and-receivers/
  4. Sam's - donates heavily conservative. Costco - donates heavily liberal. Haha, if that matters to you.
  5. ... or you can go to the gunsmithing section and there is a great step-by-step write up there with pictures. Shooting that thing with that grip will be awkward. Converting it takes about 30 min. with a Dremel and a hand drill and well worth it.
  6. Got rid of cable a couple months ago and run Clear Wireless and Netflix. Couldn't be happier.
  7. Bump. Two brown males left. Just had their first set of de-wormer.
  8. ??? Methinks you didn't actually read my post. I was agreeing with you just as I agree with the above rebuttal of my position that I didn't make. ;)
  9. According to the founding fathers government should support religion but not establish an official religion that is mandated. Been over many times before and some just want to hear what tickles their ears.
  10. First time I saw her in college I knew she was the one. Of course my tactical surveillance and shadowing skills came in handy until she noticed we kept ending up in the same places together. She finally came around and we had a blast through college. Been married 13 years and have 4 kids. Loved every (almost ;)) minute. In regards to marriage I can't wait till the kids get older and I get my time with just her back. As much as I love my kids, she will always be first.

Haha! Aresenal's "Game Changer"! Still haven't made up my mind about those, but to be your first you sure did start at the top. Very Nice!
  12. What was his name if you don't mind me asking. I had a friend who just passed that fits that description. He was the kind of man I hope to be if I am fortunate enough to live half as long. His name was Bob Gardner.
  13. Hey, give it a couple months and then we can meet up for the counseling session! Gun stores can be odd places to work sometimes. You will get a WIDE range of customer types that you generally don't get anywhere else. It's truly a special place. ;) Enjoy the fun!

There was a guy (can't remember where I saw it) that took a dong HG and carved reliefs for his hand and fingers to fit in that looked really cool and functional. I'd prefer that over the above.
  15. Yes Actually I have 3 brown males left. All looks nearly identical.
  16. Actually, probably not. When I had my wreck I was told at the hospital that only two healthcare plans in tn cover vehicle accidents. They rely on the auto insurance to cover mechanical since it is mandatory in tn.
  17. While its nice to believe they can't make it without us, they don't need us. An abandoned dog usually ends up making it by resorting to is natural instincts. That being said its a nice relationship that a dog has with a human being.
  18. While I have perfect pups for your home, in response to your original question a Great Pyrenees would be perfect. Get them young and when they identify with your family, nothing without your permission will come on your property or around your kids. You will never have coyote problems and once they locate, they will never leave their perimeter. They have heavy coats but it works to keep them cool in the summer and they love being outdoors in the coldest weather we could possibly get in middle Tennessee. Absolutely great dog for your situation.
  19. They're really starting to develop their personalities.
  20. A few updated pictures.
  21. BUMP. Still have some pups that need homes.
  22. I have some 3/4 Lab 1/4 Pit puppies I'm trying to find homes for right now that would be perfect. The lab part is going to be a great pet and the pit part will do an excellent job herding and protecting the kids.  http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/69558-free-puppies-to-good-homes/
  23. handgunlaw.us It has an interactive map and lays out all the laws for any state and reciprocity as well. Just click on the state you want info from and there are all the current laws. It is ab the most up to date and updated site i know of.
  24. Absolutely. Think of red dot's like you are playing a first person video game or using a laser. Only difference is the laser isn't seen by the target - only ON the target. ;)
  25. Basic differences in the EOtechs are what batteries they use. The smaller ones like the XPS use a single cross mounted CR123. Most use two CR123's The cheapest and my favorite, 512, uses two AA batteries. Battery life is less on the single battery versions compared to the double battery version and about the same on double battery versions, both AA and CR123. The other options are reticles and Night vision compatible. Almost all of them use the 65 MOA circle with at least one red dot. Then they have 2 and 3 dot versions that allow for holdover. Night vision just allows you to lower the power setting below 0 to allow you to use night vision goggles or an attachment. It does not have built in night vision.
