I know you like it but I'd get the refund. I don't think longevity will be the companies claim to fame and you might not be able to get the same deal in the future.

Yeah I started that route but the front sight wouldn't budge with a hammer and punch or gear pullers. I have to find someone with a press and do it right.

So, I got this in a trade and it had the ugly thumbhole stock and hand-guards painted green. Looked Rough. Since then I have threaded the barrel, added a TWS Dog Leg rail w/ Kel-Tec rear peep sight, stripped the paint off the hand-guards and refinished them in several coats of orange shellac. Ordered an Ironwoods stock back in July and just got it this last week. It is beautiful! Finished the stock in several coats of orange shellac and am pretty happy with how it turned out. Contemplating getting the IWD hand-guards to match better but I like the darker shade of the Chu wood. Only real difference is the Chu wood is more porous and has more imperfections ( for cheap wood, I kinda like it) than the solid birch of the IWD. Either way this is a sweet gun. Now that I have the stock I can finally get out and run some rounds through it.

So glad your happy with the pup. BTW they all have homes and every report is they are all doing very well. Kinda miss having them around though. ;-)

Dremel that thing. The rear trunion on a mak90 is also a little different. The underside of the top of the trunion is a little lower. As to the tang, just enlarge it and then drill a small pilot hole for the screw. They are very course so it doesn't have to be fancy.

That would make a little more sense. If there were a leak in the nearby propane tank and the small "pop" was the ignition of the leak and the larger explosion was the propane tank itself, that would explain everything.

  This warning comes up about once or twice a year and has since the beginning. Went and shot mine today. Love it. I will say of the three FS 9mm's I've had the first one i got had an awesome factory trigger. I don't know what they did to that early one but it was GREAT right out of the box. Felt just like my Apex one now. Second one I got, felt like it was pulling across sandpaper. Just like the negative reviews I had read about. Apex Kit fixed that. My current one had a fairly good trigger out of the box. Felt a bit "squishy" compared to a Glock. It had a better break but no reset. Apex and RAM kits have made it a wonderful trigger.

I could see that but you would still have to have something over-pressurized inside the pot to explode with that kind of force. IMO   I'm leaning towards some flammable container getting thrown in. When there is a fire there is always someone who wants to see what will happen to random things if they throw them in the fire.

Your title is a little odd for a setup, but article is fairly accurate. Reason usually wins out if it can outlast the emotional fervor of the moment. This is why the liberals ( think Obama) don't want budgets, or real solutions. Ass long as there is emotional instability the masses will allow the government more control to easy the fear. Nor really. I think it was more of an internet rumbling. The only problems were with slow moving 147g ammo that some of the competition shooters were having with the slow barrel twist. They did tighten up the barrel lock up and changed the twisty rates. I for a newer barrel just because I could, but I never had any problems. I too added the apex kit and their RAM kit. Love it.

While I mostly agree with the intent, I think this is going to be a nightmare to arbitrarily enforce.

... or you can go to the gunsmithing section and there is a great step-by-step write up there with pictures. Shooting that thing with that grip will be awkward. Converting it takes about 30 min. with a Dremel and a hand drill and well worth it.

Got rid of cable a couple months ago and run Clear Wireless and Netflix. Couldn't be happier.
