1. Nah, waiting on ammo to get here.
2.   After looking at them and reading the post from the picture you posted, all mine were upside down and backwards. Fixing them then made sense, as I guessed it was to raise the front of the follower.
3. My mag springs tails are the other way and don't look like they fit the other direction.?
4. You mean the one where the woman filed a false claim ... according to her own account after the fact?   You guys that keep talking about this guy are what make Zimmerman a "celebrity." :shake:  :surrender: Zimmerman is to the gun world what Kim Kardashian is to pop culture. Relevant because people won't ignore her.
5.   Yeah, because Zimmerman has so many other ways to make a living. Like all the job offers he has flowing in. Regardless of what you think of his case, I have failed to see him try to exploit the situation.
6. No you rotate your right hand palm up and throw the lever with your left hand. You will need to also lean you head to the left so as not to catch a chunk of brass/steel in the head.
7. Thanks for the heads up on the mag. I've never been a fan of the recoil buffers, but would they make a positive difference in a lower volume gun like the PSL?
8. Yes. The receivers are the same. By the way if you get a peep sight go to Kel-Tecs page and order their aluminum windage adjustable peep sight. Far better than the TWS, cheaper, and is windage adjustable. http://www.keltecweapons.com/su-16-and-su-22-rifles/su-16-parts/su16b-365-rear-peep-sight-b-model/ Here is a .308 with the Midwest mount. I opted for that on the .308 because I felt it was more stable with a heavier bodied variable optic and I could use shorter rings. Here is a Draco SBR I had with the TWS. It was phenomenal with the peep sights and the Bushnell TRS-25 co-witnessed with the peeps (shown with Vortex SPARC w/ADM mount, does not co-witness). Rock solid. MAK90 Milled with TWS and TRS-25 co-witnessed.
9. I'm a huge fan of the TWS. Proper cheek weld. really long sight radius (using peeps), and it puts the weight in a more balanced position than the Ultimak. The Ultimak sits a little lower, but I don't like that it replaces the gas tube, subjects you optic to all the heat of the AK, and puts all the weight out front.   I also like the traditional side mount, especially when it is one of the lower versions like the Midwest Industries. https://www.midwestindustriesinc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=category.display&category_ID=433
10. I like the video where bigfoot and the tree can't seem to decide who is in the foreground. Terrible CGI.
11. I'm not a huge 1911 fan but the Sig's are by far my favorite. I like their thin squared slide profile and external extractor. Lot's of gun for the money too especially with this deal.
12. Yes. They are made that way.
13. I've always wanted a SVD and since I don't have 10's of thousands of dollars to get one of those or even a TIGR, I figured i would try for a PSL. I've been kicking myself for not getting one when they were $500. Well, fortune shined on me and I found one! Traded a Saiga 12 for it which I know is not necessarily an even trade but there won't be any more imported PSL's and I can always get another Saiga 12. I'm not near as up on my PSL markings as I am on AK stuff, but it appears to be a Romanian military grade build imported by TGI. It doesn't have any of the domestic manufacturing marks, so I believe this is a real deal military grade PSL. Definitely needs some trigger work, but I'm as happy as a tick on a dog!
14. Hope it works out for you. I sure do like mine.;)
15. As much as I hate taxes and most are unconstitutional, sales tax is the one tax that is legitimate, constitutional, and legal. Why do internet retailers get to sell without collecting taxes thus lowering their prices which allow them to undercut the local mom and pop stores and that is fair?
16.     I think you misread something. ;)
17. Happens all the time and people get all surprised when we expect to physically verify ourselves their gun is clear. I've cleared round after round out of  "unloaded/empty" guns.   As to his Glock going off in his holster, I call him a liar on this one.
18. He did sing at the Ryman and went hunting once with his sons. That'll get my vote!   Seriously, after all the years he's been in and those are two of the things he uses in an add to show his qualifications .... says loads.
19. Glad all the puppies are in good homes doing well. We've been able to keep up with most of them and everyone seems to be happy with the pups.
20. I would take him to a store and let him handle a few. It's hard to tell from opinion or the internet what he might like best. At a certain price-point the difference in guns is all about fit in the shooters hand and features HE wants. I would also steer him away from 32 ACP. It is at best a dying caliber and very hard to find especially when there are ammo shortages. It had it's day and then the .380 took it away.    Being a Bersa guy you might want to look at the Thunder 9's or even the single stack Bersa Carry Nine's. Very nice guns for the money.
21. Compared to most polymer framed guns it's a heavey gun. Very little recoil and nice to shoot but not as nice to carry. Upside is that it is a Berretta 92FS clone. IMO it is a little better due to having the safety mounted on the frame instead of the slide like the Beretta. Very nice guns for the money if you are looking for a full size frame, heavy, DA/SA gun.
22. How about a Timney http://www.midwayusa.com/product/559350/timney-trigger-mosin-nagant-1-1-2-to-4-lb-steel-matte or a customized Mosin trigger http://www.surplusrifle.com/reviews/hubertriggermosin/
23.
So it's a striker fired P250? Pass...
Yep. Don't know why they are trying round two with this abomination.

Plumber Help?

Plumbers are coming tomorrow to dig a new line. There is no way I could do it by hand or even with a trencher. Is a big rock garden with about 1.5" of dirt on top of it. On a side note, if anyone needs some decorative rocks I'll probably have plenty to share ;-)
