Yeah, the combat grip is almost mandatory.

I'm kind of the opposite, but then again I don't have a whole lot of revolver attachment. I was torn between a western style SA revolver to go with my lever gun (.357) and a pragmatic revolver in .357 to pair with my lever gun. The modern feel of the K6S was a huge bonus for me, even though I like the looks of the western style. Particularly over the feel of the King Cobra. If I got stuck with one rifle and long gun platform and ammo wasn't an issue, I would go with this setup. A .357 revolver and a 16" .357 lever.

He had combat experience but not LE experience. I'm a big supporter of LE, but we're seeing some of the big downside to loading the police force with former combat soldiers. When I went through the initial Metro interview (some 10 years ago), out of the 120 or so that were there, only a handful of us were not fresh off combat duty. It's a completely different mindset and approach to policing. I said it then and I'll say it now, it's a problem. police departments liked the easy training and apparent qualifications, but the approach is so different that militarizing a department will have problems. I cringe every time I hear the term civilian used by LE. It wont end well. That being said, it is absolutely amazing that the perp wasn't hit or dead at the end of that debacle!

The weight savings make sense. Id be worried about take down pin holes and trigger pin holes wallowing out. Especially in a 9mm or 308. I did see a hybrid with metal reinforced holes. But again, unless weight is a main issues, I'd prefer an aluminum lower.

This seems appropriate. https://youtu.be/ObkJNstaog8?si=BQzNyeNS6pgaVcyr

As cheap as standard Al lowers are, I see no reason for a poly lower. I see no advantage and only disadvantages across the board.

Ohhh! If I didn't have so many already and money available, is be all over it!

The Oceaneva intrigued me. May have to pick one up while they're pretty reasonably priced.

I got one of these for the same reason. I like the board. I have it mounted on the wall. SST Identibolt ™ Bolt and Nut Identifier Gauge https://a.co/d/jjtVctI

All mine have been really sick the past two weeks. My 17yr old son ran 104 for 4 days. My wife ran 102-104 for 3 days. I had it one night but man! I've never fever ached like that! Everyone has deep lingering coughs. The wife and son got tested and everything came back as negative for covid, flu, etc.

Paralysis by analysis, way to much free time, and a need to make content.

It's is pricey but I didn't pay quite that. You can get them under $900 (still a lot!) I'm not a revolver guy either, but the older I get the more I like revolvers and lever actions.

Been looking for good . 357 carry revolver and was curious about the K6S or a King Cobra. Willis68 had both and I got to handle them both and both are fantastic. The K6S was just so light, thin, slim, and modern feeling. At the same time, it felt solid and tight. I really liked the looks of the 2" barrel but really liked the increased ballistics of the 3". I got to say this is the most carriable 3" revolver I've ever held. Excited to get it to the range.

The 92 is a Rossi. It's not a rare Winchester in the collector sense but still is a great gun. I personally have a couple and they have increased in value over the years.steve is who need to talk to about the Rossi. Great guy and is the source. ttps://store.stevesgunz.com This is from 2009 https://www.levergunscommunity.org/viewtopic.php?t=23168

Is it as good as a Gen3? I would say it is a Gen 3 with a slightly different grip. It has some of the mods people like to make to the Glock. Like mag pull cutouts, grip smoothing, slide melting, etc. It uses Gen 3 parts so you can mod it as much as a Glock. If you were to blind test them side to side, I think you'd prefer the Dagger. Once your know what it is, the brand bias tends to kick in. It's a reminder how cheap the Glock is to manufacturer and still make a good markup.

I'm a big fan and have had several but there are enough current 9mm +p rounds that the ballistic advantage nearly disappears. Add in that the cost, capacity, availability, and reloading advantage all go to the 9mm there really isn't an good reason to go .357 sig. It's a great round but I couldn't justify it against high quality +P 9mm.

Haha, I guess that does make a difference!

I've had an 85UL for some time and it's been great. It has a better trigger than stock Ruger and S&W's I've had. Traded the springs for Wolff springs and it got even better. One of the best DA revolver triggers I've ever held. That being said, I've held other Taurus revolvers that weren't close, so maybe I got a unicorn but it's a good one!

I've tried and enjoyed these. BTW these are all the same 10/22. 1. Blackhawk Axiom stock. Lightweight and was great when my kids were small and growing. 2. Magpul X-22 stock. Great stock. A little heavy but solid and adjustable lop. 3. Desert Tech Trek-22 bullpup. This is my current stock and I love it.
