  1. +1 on the Kel-Tec PF9. I got it as a more concealable alternative to my xd and it works extremely well. I carry it almost all the time.

    Pricing Help

    Gunbroker has three listed $225, $350, & $375. for what that's worth.
  3. Funny how politics work that way! I understand. This was my first two-tone and I liked it. I like the blued look as well. Maybe i should have one of each. But then i will have to have one with all the different frame colors! Man, guns get complicated.
  4. Greetings from a fellow minister and PF9 owner. I really like how you did your presidential endorsement. I don't like Paul, but that was well done. as far as the PF9 - send that thing to Jack Fuselier and he'll plate it for $25! http://www.gunsmith.fuselier.com/slideoffer.html
  5. only picture i have of myself from 3 yrs. ago. the reason I carry.

    New Toy!

Wish i knew. Hadn't been able to get out yet, but maybe just maybe, this weekend is the weekend!
  7. Is there a suburban in Memphis anymore? Before long they will try to annex Olive Branch and Southaven!
  8. As a former Memphian, all i can say is you're gonna need that HCP sooner than later! Welcome to TGO.
  9. Just don't care for political operatives using the forum for stuff like this. I don't care if it is for GW, Obama, Paul, or who ever. Especially if they don't contribute to the TGO family. There are other forums that love this stuff, that's why I don't go to those anymore.
  10. Do you work for Paul? Seems to be the only post you have. something smells......
  11. Glad to see some conservatives are still willing to split the vote with liberals. Did Perot not teach us anything.?
  12. We need more people like this. +10000000
  13. Guns and Leather usually has some. that's were I got my Saiga that i converted. Last time they had some Yugo's, which are quality. Not really as close as you requested, but they are worth it.
  14. How bout the PF9. Doesn't get much smaller in a defensive caliber than that.
  15. Isn't it great to be in Tennessee! Hard to believe, but it is that simple.
  16. Can someone post a link to this. All i can find is '05.
  17. Little late to the party but, for the future maybe you could stack the TGO on the State symbol and use that as the background. Looks good anyways!

    New XD

Make sure to send it to Scott at Springer Precision to have a trigger job done. He'll get it back to you in 2 days most of the time. Great gun. I love mine.

    New Toy!

No it is the newest generation that uses the "coin" battery. Do you know what the battery life is on those? I know it is not as long as the AA, but both state 70 hrs. However, on the AKforum they ran some of their own test and found 700+ hrs on the AA model.

    New Toy!

I supplied the Saiga and it cost about $320 for conversion. So all together it cost me $550. It would have cost less, but I opted for the threaded barrel. The Kobra I got from Tantal and it is cool. I have a Aimpoint on my AR and I like the Kobra a lot better. Almost makes me wish I had gotten the weaver rail Kobra so I could use it on the AR. The flash suppressor/brake is a Phantom style.
  21. I think the old boy is trying to sell his new rifle and got shut out of the process! There were some good points about procurement, however. Think about just changing out uppers and magazines to adopt, say the 6.8 SPC. Then what to do about the old stuff. What a massive overhaul. Not to mention the fact that 6.8 and .223 are going to get confused and used in the wrong guns if they are mixed. It does make for a bureaucratic nightmare. However, to say the AR is outdated and the AK is modern.... is a horrible comparison. They are both old designs that have similar histories of reincarnations. My AR is good, but I like the less stress of my AK,\. Either will do the job equally well when used and maintained the way they are supposed to.

    New Toy!

Haven't got to shoot it yet, but can't wait! It took 6 months to get back from Red Stick (http://www.redstick-firearms.com/index.html)! I was quoted 6-8 weeks. all that being said, I couldn't be happier and the gun is beautiful. enjoy.
  23. XD's are fully supported. Glocks are not.
  24. Here it is all at once http://gun-deals.com/ammo.php?caliber=.223. Look at the last column. It factors shipping as well. For cheap .223 try Academy.
  25. Not really, the gun didn't fail. It did it's job rather well.
