    G-19 or XD 9

XD. I also had to choose a while back and I went with the XD. It was easy after handling them side by side.
  2. Problems people have with Dish or Direct have to do with install issues. The only time it should go out is the same time Comcast does. Remember Comcast is satellite also. They just have one big one and then run it on lines to your house. Coincidentally that is also why the picture tends to not be as good.
  3. I used to sell for Comcast, then DirectTV, and then Dish Network. Basically for the money, Dish Network can't be beat, followed by Direct and then Comcast. However as stated earlier, tell them you are going to cancel and they will throw all sorts of offers your way. Just don take the first offer. The usually let you bid your services when they get desperate. Remember Comcast needs to maintain about $78 per customer, so you canusually get close to that - if you play the game right. Also, if you don't mind playing their games - switch between all three of them taking advantage of their switching offers every two years or so and you can really get great deals. Keep in mind to ask for every discount you can get or they won't offer them. Act hesitant and make them give you a reason to use their service. The only loyalty you need is to your bank account, because all of them will screw you the first chance they get.

Now where was the Mall Ninja poll at?:)
  5. Anybody used or heard any feedback on the Galco X-Project holster. I know it's kydex, but looks like it might work and be pretty comfortable under the shirt. Just a thought.
  6. The 9mm is called the Browning High Power. The refined and "perfected" 1911, according to Mr. Browning.
  7. I think that's why they put mall "bus" pass in there! Hey Canyn, I know MOA has something to do with accuracy, but I have no idea practically what it means either. I just leave it up to the Mall ninja's out there to discuss it in great detail as if it's common knowledge and universally understood...like proper grip for throwing stars!
  8. what's wrong with Ar15.com? I found great info there. lot's of good info about body armor, lasers, and tacticool stuff. An even better source is glocktalk.com!
  9. Not to hijack, but has anyone noticed how the chatter is picking up on caseless, electronic ignition stuff? CSI-Miami had an episode the other night about "the Vaporizer", and "Weoponology" had a show on them. I've read a few articles and have seen a few other shows mentioning this kinda stuff, but I can't remember where. Pretty cool stuff if you ask me.
  10. 35%, but a lot of the questions didn't have my choices. I'm no mall ninja, but where was Chuck Norris, night vision, and sword questions? Then we could have had some truthful info! Please note sarcasm!
  11. Nice piece. I like the idea, but I don't think the 1911 is the end all, be all:eek:. I'm sure some great American(hopefully American, although with all the lawsuit stuff probably not:rolleyes:) will find a way to reinvent the wheel (no Rabbi, not the "wheel" gun. That design is dead:D). And the next John Browning is............ Can't wait to see.

    Kel-Tec .40?

Nothing was wrong with the gun itself. Customers kept returning them claiming jams and misfires, only to find out it was the shooter limp-wristing them. They were so light weight that you needed a firm grip to hold them steady especially with the added pop of .40. It just wasn't worth the hassle for Kel-tec.
  13. You are correct sir. My understanding that when registered as NFA (for whatever reason) they need to stay together to be safe.
  14. It gets complicated, but essentially the registered lower can only be used with the SB upper or any LB upper. However if you have an unregistered upper sitting next to a registered lower, legally they can get you. The safest way is to have a SB and leave it alone.

    Kel-Tec .40?

Just don't limp wrist it and it'll do.

  17. The new one is MUCH better!
  18. I have had great luck with the PF9. Never had a misfire, jam, or any other problem in the 6 or 7 months I've had it. feeds all the ammo I've put through it, including some limited +p (for a reliability check). The trigger is worlds apart better than the P11!
  19. I like the qoute "once you have fired the second shot, do not attempt to help the assailant. Use this opportunity to escape."

  21. Check this out and tell us what you think. My first impression was they were trying to make her out to be a potential active shooter and all round dangerous gal. Personal safety and responsibilty don't seem to be implied or thought of. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,316267,00.html
  22. I got this one and it works and looks great. http://www.cdnninvestments.com/akpigrnewism.html
  23. I went in to get a Glock and came out with the XD9 service. It was a little bit cheaper, fit much better, and looked a whole lot better - IMO. All that being subjective, I have to say I am very glad i got the XD over the Glock. Time has proven my choice - if in my mind at least. Plus i avoided the Glock snob image.
  24. If you need more than one mag (the one in the gun) then you are in a situation that would demand more than an extra mag. If you feel like you need an extra mag, carry a backup shotty and a SHTF bag at all times as well.
  25. try this for Hi-power magazine info. http://www.ont.com/users/kolya/bhpmagfaq.htm
