  1. Rabbi has one and can get other variants in a couple of days. In addition to barrel lengths, there are also caliber choices. .308, 7.62x39, .223, 410, 12g( very rare), 20g. Guns and leather also has them from time to time.
  2. Won't cost you much. You can get one of the professionals to do it and run you about $350ish + parts or you can to it yourself for about $100 - $250. Depending on how much you do. Here is a great write up with illustrations. http://www.cross-conn.com/Saiga_Conversion/index.htm
  3. Did the same thing myself, although I did let Red Stick thread the barrel and give her a good Gunkote. They are nice! I really need to update - I've since added an ace Folding skeleton stock with internal block and Galil style hand guards.
  4. If only that were true! I'm not the best joke teller. I find I get more laughs when I'm not trying !

    1,000 Yard Range

Curious? What are you shooting at 1000 yrds? .50 BMG or what?
  6. WOW! I don't even know where to start on this one! 1st - Hello pot, this is the kettle.... 2nd - I've always said, "some people know just enough Bible to be dangerous." Proved yet again. Thanks triggertime! 3rd - what an asinine assessment of his post and intentions. Maybe you need to re/read his initial statement. 4th - Why would you try to instigate something like this! I'm calling the troll patrol on this one!
  7. He is a self-indulged, egotistical, politician, who couldn't put on his underwear by himself without assistance from all his analyst. As much as I think Giuliani is a moderate liberal, he is miles away from Bloomberg. As mayor's go, not much of a contest. Yeah, I don't think I would vote for him.
  8. This sounds like an iffy case to get behind for me. I think Mr. Olofson was operating marginally, if not worse, and this is probably a good case. This is not to say the BATF did not embellish for posterior sake. There is nothing wrong with the selling and making of firearms as an individual, but they seem to imply as if it were.
  9. I had a FEG PJK-9HP a while back, that shot great. It was my first gun and I regretted letting it go. Then when I saw this great deal, I couldn't pass it up. I'm already :D:D:D! That's the great thing about guns. Unlike women, if you make a mistake and let a good one go to get a "better" one (which you find out was a big mistake), you can always get the good one back. Without strings or baggage attached, I might add!
  10. Sorry bout that, it is a FN Hi-Power in .40 S&W. I edited it to correct the oversight, thanks.
  11. Just picked up this FN Hi-Power .40 S&W from the Rabi Monday. Only charged me $20 for the transfer (hi-way robbery!).:stir: Haven't got to shoot it yet, but I can't wait. Already removed the mag disconnect, added C&S Cocobolo grips, cleaned it, and greased it. It's ready to go with 11 rounds of .40 S&W Win Ranger's. I even ordered a EFK 9mm conversion barrel for it. There is even a .357 SIG barrel for it I may get down the road. Fit and finish are excellent and , of course, it has the classic Hi-Power feel. I forgot how much I love the feel of steel!

    Welcome form Nashville!
  13. Congrats!......Now what guns are for sale?
  14. Leave it to Rabbi to make silk out of a sows ear!
  15. Thompson, Romney (not a chance), and Huckabee.
  16. Huh? You better get some more pics (of the gun!) up there as well as specs!

    Guns & Leather

It definitely is the complete, quintessential gun store/range.
  18. Here's a Navy study on the matter http://www-nehc.med.navy.mil/downloads/ih/tm6290.99-10Rev1.pdf . Haven't fully read it yet, but it seems like a good source.
  19. Yeah but the people who assemble the thing wrong more than likely won't be around anymore anyway. Many of those "don'ts" would eliminate them anyway... eventually.

Glad you took control of the font Hogman!
  21. EFK makes the best for the money IMO. KKM also makes them, I'm told. Barsto had issues and quite making them all together. Evidently the problems were so pervasive the have a bunch in stock but won't sell them.
  22. I would love to see something along the lines of http://frag.110mb.com/ this for the 357 SIG. I thinking of getting a SIG barrel for my new FN Hi-Power .40. There just isn't much updated info out there, especially for the newer bullets.
  23. Why not use the Federal HST's or Winchester Ranger's. ammunitiontogo.com has them fairly cheap in .357 SIG. Both are much better update to Gold Dot's.
  24. Evidently you haven't been there in a while. No mattresses, or fans. While not the nicest place in the world it has central air filtration and the people are some of the best.
  25. I use my XD9 for carry and the trigger job is 4 lbs. Not a problem in my mind. I believe Springer will reduce it to 2.5 lbs, but only for competition use.
