If you bark enough you can get around sending the gun in. I had a Rossi M92 that I needed a new HG band and they wanted the whole gun. I barked enough and made my case about transfer fees etc. And they finally just sent me the parts. Good side is their warranty actually works and they will take care of it. It's not the fastest but it is a LOT faster since they moved everything to FL.

Oooh! I love just about every knife you make.

Barrel droop is actually accounted for in the design. Shoot, it's actually part of the harmonic design the long barrels like the PSL/Dragaunov were built around. US designers try to eliminate barrel droop, but the Russians actual account for it calling it barrel whip. Moving in the trunnion is not a result of barrel whip.
-
Eh, anomaly. For a barrel to shift like that is not normal. Years of hard use on millions around the world has proven the barrel won't pull out of the front trunnion like that if it is done half way right. I would learn towards something very unusual.

Eh, I'll wait for the steel reinforced mags. AK's and poly mags tend to not be good pairings no matter how good the polymer is. Rear lugs break to easy. Fine for range mags but go easy on them.

I'm in. #12 again stonewashed

Well, that's kinda HUGE!

Nobody beats the Trivago guy! Can't even figure out what he's pitching because I spend the whole time wondering why in the world they thought this guy and his look were TV commercial quality. Is he young? Is he old? Is he old trying to be young? Is he a grown up from the Seattle grunge scene? Did he just get up? What's going on here?

Magiccarpetrides is a good dealer with a great rep. Here's not on much anymore but he is a member and can probable help you out.

Hey! Don't forget that HP still wants to come home, back to its starting place! I always keep an eye out for it. I miss that one above all others.[emoji22]

Ak's are front heavy as they are. Adding more weight is to the front is not my preferred method. Much of the reason I don't care for the Ultimak setup, as good as it is. The Renegade is as tough as it gets and it's light while dispersing heat very well. I'm a big fan. The center of weight issue is mainly with full sized Ak's. With the M92 the barrel is so short that the triangle stock will only help you. I've shot a bucnh of them in all sorts of configurations and an M92 with a stock is far better than without. Here is the review I did i the Renegade when they were still in beta http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/79291-manticore-m92-handguards/

Yeah, Sven is doing some great stuff. The Alpha won't fit the M92. The Renegade is what was made for the M92. You can also get one of the top cover mounts for an optic as well. I beta'd one for the Burris Fastfire and really liked it. However after I went with the TWS I went back to the basic top cover for the Renegade. Mainly to get weight centered.

I just went with the TWS top cover and added a Kel-Tec Peep sight. Took care of any issues and makes it far more useable. I also like the Manticore Handguards, Big fan!

Sort of. The Ontario Rat series is exactly the same as the Esee series. The ONLY difference is in the heat treating, which Esee does use a reportedly better proprietary company for that process. About the only objective test on that subject I've seen are somewhat inconclusive. The Esee fan boys will scream otherwise, but that is where all the noise comes from. I will also say that the fit and finish on my RAT is actually better than on my Esee. That being said the warranty and heat treating upgrade you get with the Esee does legitimize the price bump IMO.
-
I've got an Esee 4 and really like it. I also have a RAT5 and for the price I have no problem taking it over the Esee. That being said, I've always wanted a TOPS Tom Brown Tracker #1 or #4 for the purpose you mentioned.

Screws in the back aren't all that bad an idea. Not much flex back there to cause an issue. However, Toth Tool makes a rivet tool for bolt cutters that makes it real easy to rivet, especially the back end.

Keep in mind that some of what you are getting at IS being addressed for instate manufacturing. Colorado, I believe, was one of the first to say that no ATF tax stamp required for suppressors, etc. as long as they are made in state and reside in state. Taxes can only be enforced due to interstate commerce. Theoretically of course.

So if you stick to your position consistently, then you also blame the girl who was raped because she was dressed provocatively? People have been doing controversial art for a long time. In fact, several art exhibits have expressly tried to be provocative towards other religions. I don't recall shootings and attempted bombings as part of the discourse.

Any of you sold a house to a person with a VA loan?

This is truth. Our agent bumped our asking price up quite a bit from what I thought was the high end and we l still had 28 showings and multiple offers in roughly 4 days last week. Being in the low 100k, it moved quick. Still waiting on the inspection and all that good stuff, so we'll see how it goes. My agent told me inventory in starter homes is very low and demand is very high. From our multiple offers at asking price, I believe it. I was not expecting that situation. -
One note, the FEG HJK-9HP is an almost identical clone of the hp and all parts interchange. FEG ALSO made the HP9 (clone of the Browning DA9HP) and the FEG P9R which is what the Smith series you mentioned is designed after. My first handgun was a hjk-9hp and I had no idea how good a gun I had. I've had a lot of hi powers since, and I'll still grab a feg hp if the opportunity arises. It's a hp without the Browning markup our beautiful bluing.

Might as well carry a .380 with less recoil and size. 9mm needs velocity to work and 147g are generally only good for subsonic, SMG, and very hot loads. Combine that with a short barrel and you lose most of the benefits of the 9mm over the .380 while adding all the negatives (size, weight, recoil, etc.). The gun can handle it, but there is no reason for it and zero benefit. In a 9mm you want a balance of weight with speed. I generally like a 124g +p or standard load in a premium defensive round. The .45 mentality, where heavier is better, applies because it is not velocity dependant.

I am bit curious why so much identity is tied up in sexuality these days. It's a new phenomenon in case you didn't know. Makes me think it's largely disingenuous and much of it is concocted for attention and justification. Much like global warming/cooling/climate change.
