    Kel-Tec P11 vs. PF9

That's for time sake. You can send it in and they will do it for you, but for most people Kel-tecs are very easy to work on and it is much quicker to DIY.
  2. Yes, but you have to file down the catch a little to get them to fit.
  3. The Blazer is going to be MUCH cleaner and a little easier on your gun than the steel case stuff. It is also ballistically similar to Federals premium stuff. BTW it is not free shipping. They add it after the fact and don't tell you what it cost.
  4. ammunitiontogo.com is the best for incendiaries!, carry, and specialty stuff. Academy is by far the best for plinking ammo in 7.62x39 ($3.89), .223 ($4.86), 9mm (Blazer) and other pistol calibres.
  5. Welcome from Nashville.
  6. About the only negative review I've read in a Handgun magazine was on the AR. I think that says a lot. Very rarely do mags give a negative, don't buy review.
  7. It doesn't even make sense? It kinda like saying, " America has problems, women live in the United States, women must be the reason for America's problems.' How many wars do these people have to be at the center of before the realize maybe they are the problem?

    Kel-Tec P11 vs. PF9

Having owned both, I would definitely go with the PF9. Trigger is much better and it disappears when carried. If you go with the P11 you might as well go with a larger framed auto. Width won't be that much difference.

    92fs range report

That's why my wife has forbidden me to "try" new guns....they end up following me home! Glad you like it.
  10. Well, finally got to go to the range and put some rounds (250) through the FNP. All I can say is I like it....I like it a lot! It Took a little adjusting, as I am used to single actions (HP, XD with a nice trigger job), but even with that I shot more consistently than with my former XD. Tighter groups as well. No Problems at all. PROS: - Aesthetics. very nice looking pistol. Fits me very well. Nice but not flashy. All the things I want and not a lot of "gadget" novelties I don't need or care about. - Workmanship is excellent. The gun is very well made. No tooling marks or unfinished edges. - Sights. Low profile and easy to pick up. - Trigger -nice trigger. DA and SA broke cleanly and evenly and were consistent. A little more take up then I would have liked, but i think I can remedy that fairly easily. - Magazines - came with 3. A good thing since they are $36 a piece. All three worked without any problems. - Backstraps - comes with two. A flat and an arched. For me the flat one was horrible. It created sharp pints in my grip that became very noticeable during recoil. Arched one was very nice. - Accuracy - I was very pleased with this guns accuracy with many different ammo types. When I did my part it hit where it pointed consistently. - Modular - don't know I'd need to, but the rails and internals are all serviceable and removable. A big plus is the rails aren't molded in so the can be changed very easily. - Price - I don't think you can get this quality in any other gun in the price range. mine was $439 (shipped) and I've seen them from CDNN at times for $349. In fact Browning sells this gun re-named the Pro-9 in the $650+ range. CONS: - Holsters - there aren't hardly any. Blade-Tech makes them. - Magazines - they're $36-$40 a piece! Also due to the large mag well (a plus for reloading) requires a unusually large base plate (negative for carrying a spare). - Parts? Haven't seen a need for them, but I don't know how widely they are available. - Decocker - feels rather flimsy and could be a little tighter to the frame. In short I think this is one of the best guns no one knows. Marketing is starting to come along, so maybe the secret will get out. Until then I relish the fact that I have a great gun, at a great price, that I really like. A few more pictures of the insides. Pardon the grit. I didn't get a chance to clean her yet.

    My First AR

Something to look forward to. This is my second build. This one is in 6.8 SPC. Just got the upper yesterday.
  12. Nature is truly awesome!
  13. Here's my 7.62x39 16" converted all the way to AK 103 (with an ACE stock).
  14. Of course! It is still probably my favorite, followed by the 6.8 SPC. The AK is just the perfect rifle. Kinda like AK=(original) hummer, AR=H3. The Hummer is good for real effective work and the H3 has the chiks-dig-it-factor.
  15. I tend t agree with Creeky on this one. It will be so subtle that most folks won't realize it has happened till its already past. Kinda like Hitler was not really a threat even after he took over Poland and headed into France.
  16. I will now have to get a Glock!
  17. Today was a good day! My Ko-tonics 6.8 SPC upper came as did my FN FNP-9. so far I am well pleased with both and can't wait to get to the range and put them through their paces. Here they are together. Ko-Tonics 6.8 SPC upper, Sabre lower, YHM flip-up front and rear BS, YHM free-float 4-rail forearm, Phantom FH, and Magpul CTR stock.
  18. There will always be jobs that end. As production, supply, demand, technology, innovation expand - the market place (and jobs) will have to change. It's kinda like the argument that Walmart destroys the mom and pops. What Walmart really does is create new business (ones that specialize) and eliminates the inefficient ones that DO drain on the economy. Those who don't adapt will loose out. For instance, the farmers I know in Arkansas who want to small family farm like they had before are dying. You have to change with the economy. NAFTA created many new jobs and moved a lot of older ones overseas ect. People here can't make a living in manufactoring Levi's, but Mexicans can. We can make a living on marketing, shipping, logistics, specialty suppliers, ect. Opening the American marketplace to more small business by moving the large machinery out, is a good idea IMO.
  19. It's what the police use!
  20. Didn't at the circus (last thing I went to0, but a concert may be different.
  21. I bet I can guess!
  22. With all the vagrants hanging out in the library, I would definitely carry. BTW I carry in the Sommet Center as well.
  23. The problem is that the people who need to understand this are the very ones who wouldn't read it. For them, it is about "feeling" truth. Not actual truth. This makes it relative to their situation in time and space, not a universal truth existent without them.
  24. With the High Point, you can get an ATI stock that makes it look like a CX4. ($67) Pretty cool! IMO.
