Correct me if I'm wrong ( and I'm sure he will), but Mars doesn't like Glocks as much, for safety reasons. the XD is a safer gun than the Glock.

They are Ivorywood, not ivory. I don't particularly like Ivory either on blue, but these seem like they might work.

I'm usually pretty utilitarian with my guns, but came across these Ivorywoods from Esmeralda. I've got C&S Cocobolo grips right now, but so does everyone else. These were just a little something different. What do you guys think about these on my Hi-Power? Here she is with Cocobolo.

I really looked hard at the SU16C. But as the demand for these went up so did the price. I figured I would rather have a true AR with a lot less plastic for the minimal difference in price. Even with KT great rep on durability, I was a little concerned about the amount of plastic it used.

Problem with these issues is you've got agency's trying to enforce bad laws. The BATF is out of control because the laws are retarded and leave way to much vaguery for interpretation. Get the wrong guys in charge and interpretation will have bad outcomes. Waco was a Reno classic, much like many other examples of her fine work. The Weaver deal was an FBI/local sheriff department (lying) debacle with exceptionally bad leadership. The holocaust was neither of these and I gotta go with Rabbi on this one. That was just evil, hate, injustice, ..........to the nth degree.

Most of the Glock stuff is tongue in check. Mainly due to the Glockers willingness of suspended belief in all the marketing hype.... "Glock Perfection!"

I've had an XD-9, Hi-Power, Kel-Tec PF9, and FN FNP-9. I don't have the XD or PF9 anymore. If your looking for a great all round.... FN Hi-Power .40. You can get them from CDNN for that price. Because Hydrashocks are about 10yrs behind bullet development. They were great when they first came on the scene, but have been surpassed in recent years. However, in .45 expansion is not as much of an issue.

You can't get better than 357 mag. It is benchmark self defense round. Even the, ".45 is the greatest ever," have to bow before the 357mag.
