  1. All I can say is Wow! Got an e-mail referencing this thread and took me a minute to figure out it was about me! I can't tell you how much I appreciate you guys. Here is the thread that gives some details about the accident http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7326. As an update I'm finally able to walk (limp) without crutches, but the gash on my shin left some nerve damage (can't feel my shin) that is taking quite a bit of work to get straitened out. And wouldn't you know that I just found out most insurance companies (mine evidently) don't cover automobile accidents. What's the point of all the premiums then? I'll be getting a pretty good settlement in a few months, but I have to wait for all the doctor's work to get done first. In the mean time it is all out of pocket and it started getting tight. Kinda of a catch 22, I can't get the money I need till I pay everything first with the money I don't have! The biggest blow was that I was supposed to start the police academy June 2nd. That won't be happening now and worse yet I have to reapply to make the October class! The Wonderful world of beaurocracy. BTW I've got my essential guns left (AK, Hi-Power), but needed some cash fairly quick. The pieces I'm selling I figured I could replace later. You can use my e-mail nsnate@operamail.com at paypal. Thanks:D

    Keltec P-11

Actually the PF9 has a really nice trigger for a DAO compared to the P-11. It is still long but smooth and crisp.

    XDM for $585!

$.48 per mile x 2, plus $60 and yeah, you're pretty much there. But it was more of a joke than anything.
  7. Yeah but it looks like he is about to disengage the safety!

    XDM for $585!

  9. I think you're wound a little tight.

    first 9mm

I've had several 9's. FNP9, XD9 Service, Walther P99, FN Hi-Power, Kel-tec P11, & a Kel-Tec PF9. Of those my favorites would be the Walther P99 and the Hi-Power, although I would not hesitate getting any of those again. In Polymer/carry gun I would highly recommend the P99 and in steel the Hi-Power is the definitive 9mm. The P99 is accurate, nice trigger in the QA model, light/ concealable, and with the Melonite finish very durable.

    Keltec P-11

Had one and I liked it a lot. The trigger is indeed long and heavy, but overall never had any problems. Send it back to KT and they will make it run 100% like most of them do. KT has a great customer service rep and will make it right. That being said it is either love or hate with the P11's.
  12. Go to Guns and Leather. Everything you need and can probably show you some things you haven't considered yet.
  13. Ya'll do know that in the rest of the world the term "fanny pack" has an entirely different meaning, right?
  14. If you wear a fanny pack at least take off the black socks with the sandals. OK!
  15. Well being that my Windows files got deleted and I had to start over, I can say I don't back up enough. i didn't realize how much i update stuff during a two week span. I know, I know windows!
  16. If you can fix one more thing, I had 2000 post until the glitch. Can you fix that for me while you're at it?
  17. Well as Fallguy stated it is againsr the rules of the forum.
  18. how presumptious and arrogant to assume everyone is wrong except you in your open minded wisdom who has solved the mystery in 30 something years? how can this logic have any sense of stability? its like operating on personel perceptionn ignoring behind the lines intel.
  19. You really have to stop using facts and economic understanding in your arguments. You need more emotion and feelings!
  20. It is tuckable and easy on off.
  21. It doesn't really matter how long it would take. The fact we aare drilling would drive OPEC and the rest of the world into a "make it cheaper to buy than drill" mode. Suppply and demand.
  22. I would agree, except I doubt big brother is that slick. BTW we get the majority of our oil domestically anyway. The only problem is we have to pay Canada, Mexico, and Venezuela for it. they are pumping a lot of the sam eoil we could tap and selling it to us. That alone would force OPEC into competition mode and seriously suck the profits out of it for them.
