I know it's a cheesy movie but I'm thinking Escape from New York/LA has some good thinking. Maybe we could add Chicago and DC to that since the taxpayers won't have to transport the prisoners too far. Especially in light of the ever narrowing death penalty decisions.

I was lucky I guess. The round was so weak that it didn't even cycle the slide. It didn't pop just made a weak pfff sound and nothing happened. I hate to think what could have been!

I'd heard that but I had gotten these form www.streichers.com and were supposed to be the new lots. I had called about it first. I'm pretty sure it was just the law of averages. It's still a good reminder to never assume, whether it be gun, ammo, or whatever.

There was a video a while back where a lady of similar description did the same thing. The result however, was she went out and got her huge boyfriend who came in and beat the poor guy standing in line senseless. I would agree about swallowing the pride and letting it go. Besides it would be hard to not be seen as a contributing factor in a shoot if you did anything to "up" the situation.

Got to take the newly finished Saiga 12 out for her first spin today! WOW, this is probably the most fun i have had shooting a gun! Grins all around. Have a little bruise in the shoulder, but the sheer enjoyment was worth it. If you have the means (and can find one), I highly recommend picking one up!

Call me special, but I've never had a failure of any kind when I've been at the range. That is until today. Took my new XD9 for it's first spin and about 100 rnds into it, it happened. Pulled the trigger and pfff. The squib stuck just past the chamber in the barrel. I was running through some aging carry ammo, HST 124 +P. I say aging, but it was only about 9 mo. old. Gave me pause on the HST for a minute, but I think I'll still carry it.

They have a different sight picture as well as a difference between how you acquire the picture. The Suresight definitely works, just hard to get a hold of. BTW I have a pair for an XD that I would part with if anyones interedted. Just PM me.

To once and for all end the Shooter thing. I found this when looking it up for another thread tonight! Must be something in the air! HaHa. He uses an 82a1 then switches to a 700. Later his main rifle is the Cheyenne Tac m200 in .408.
