  1. I'm pretty sure that even a gift going across state lines has to go through a FFL.
  2. Most semi-automatic problems are mag related. That being said a new gun will take some time to get "broken" in. Most say around 500 rounds as a minimal break in time. I'd try those first and then reassess.
  3. +1 for the Buckthorn. BTW is there really a difference in patterns in the woods (I know marsh and woods are different for a obvious reasons)? I know some are probably more effective than others, but do the animals know that? Why wouldn't the Army use realtree or something similar if it is so much better, other than cost reasons?
  4. Ouch! I hope they were OK. I'm kinda amazed that the whole canopy came down like that though.
  5. Don't tell Tripp that! But yeah, they both fit a different niche for my personal needs.
  6. I've looked at a few of them and can't seem to find any that are worth the stop. used to love going to Pawn shops to find rare deals.
  7. That is one of the better looking .22 AR's I've seen. I can't stand the little .22 mags hanging out the magwell. Makes them look weird IMO. That looks nice. Just too bad it has to be ruined with pink!
  8. There is no allegence and I don't know any "friends" of his on a personal basis. I see this is a personal agenda for you, but I was simply making a recommendation based on my personal experience in doing FTF business with a businessman. You admittedly have no experience with him only speculation and conjecture. Your condenscencsion to me in that regard is insulting.
  9. BTW say what you will, his sales tactics and ethics have not been in question to those who do business with him. Personality? sure. He's banned, so be it, he still has a business that fits a need. That's all I was saying.
  10. Bill (The Rabbi) at East Side is the cheapest in Nashville. Whatever you do, DON'T use Gun City!
  11. Nope, just give them a call and tell them what you got.
  12. I take it you don't have the melonite version. In that case send it to SA and they will put their Armory Kote on it under warranty. Then it won't matter how toxic your sweat is.

    Kel-tec PF-9

That is a HUGE picture BTW. I had one and really liked it. The trigger was much improved over the P-11. for the price I would get it. as far as limp wristing I've heard of it, but never had any problems. i could shoot one handed as well as two handed and never had a malfunction of any kind. I would also recommend sending it to Jack Fuselier and get it plated for $30. http://www.gunsmith.fuselier.com/slideoffer.html
  14. I've found that for every three mags i have for my XD9, one of them will have some issue. I usually mark the one and make sure it is not carried. I doubt it is ammo related, but I've been wrong before. Is it with the same mag or different ones?
  15. September is the next class, so maybe you can make that one!
  16. if the bean counters at the airlines were smart enouh to keep their companys out of bankruptcy, then maybe they would have some credibility. their soluion is to run the airlines into the ground then have the government bail them out.
  17. as has been debated numerous times... epa domestic drilling gas blends weak dollar speculation is simply one factor in the market. it can help drive up as well as drive down. fixing a minor market factor will ultimatley do nothing. increasing domestic supply.while easing restrictions would cause these same speculators to drive dwn prices. what the dems want to do is shift blame from things they can control to things.they cant drectly contrl. now if you take it speculatio and increase domestic supply prices would take real time to come come down. then the dems could argue thy were righ all along.
  18. speculation is the furthest reason for high oil prices. besides no one complains when speculation drives down prices.you have been watching too much pelosi visio - "news"!
  19. if by bad rap you are refering to arf.com, i think that says about what you need to know. it is good stuff. just dirty as said before.

    AK-47 Prices

yes, both have the lowest around and are great to deal with. get ak ammo from them as well. great prices all around.
  21. but for some people it does't matter. thats what the whole ruby ridge debate in this thread was about.
  22. :tinfoil:he put them to work. no more 8hr shifts with 4 at the doughnut shop.some feel he is too hard. he believes in prevention by statistics. in other words, the more routine stops you make the greater the chances of finding contraband, felons, etc. sound theory but tends to rub folks the wrong way.
  23. of your choices i'd go with the pf9. had one and they are great little guns. send it to jack fuselier and he will nickle plate it for$30.
