  1. Those, my friends are some nice catches! Took me a minute to figure out all the jokes, but now I'm ROFL!
  2. Between the 5.45 and 9mm, I would go with the 9mm. I think the 5.45 is going to go up either due to AWB or future availability. I could be wrong though.
  3. Gallatin is currently hiring I know for sure. I think they were trying to bring on 6 this month.
  4. Mars, that was great! How do find this stuff? Great OP video too.
  5. true, but i was referring to availability which would speak to cost down the road. I recommend a search!
  6. I like how they tried to make 2a supporters default supporters of felons rights.
  7. THP is very military like. If that fits you then go for it. Every POT i've talked to said they felt sorrow for the THP guys at the Academy. this was coming from some ex-military guys. NO pain, no gain though!
  8. building an AK is not very cost effective. The set up will cost a lot for one rifle. I say get an AK or two now and build the AR as time and money permits. The reason is that if the AWB comes back the first to go will be AK's (they are the most evil, of course). Kits will dry up and since most of the parts come from overseas, importation will slow/stop and prices will get insanely high. Most AR's are made here and parts will be more readily available.
  9. He's got it listed on Gun Broker too. Evidently he's moved. He's listed as Clarksville now.http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=105062687
  10. Yes they would. Being considered self-employed, I have to calculate and pay my own taxes every quarter or yearly. They are benevolent enough to give me that choice. I think that was the point. I would rather have a choice of those funds going to company insurance or my choice.
  11. +1. Plus you can always take it to full AK fair as money and time presents itself. Also, it is starting to look like the Saiga's (of all calibres) ar going to continually rise in price as more and more people find out about them. I'm amazed at what x39 Saiga's are going for now. More than $100 than last year, if you can find them.
  12. The tricky part is recognizing when there is a battle. Everyone here is on the same side of this.
  13. Well, if you do that then it will be easy for Mr. fly! BTW I love Wal-Mart!
  14. It's happened to me a couple times and every time I feel extremely uneasy.
  15. As far as sights - TFO's. I absolutely love them. Great for indoor or low light and phenomenal outside. I recommend the Yellow rears with the green fronts.
  16. That's not even close to what I said. One does not define the other. But now you at least have something in common.
  17. I too really like Walmart. Great store with a great history. The true American Dream on display. Maybe that's why the liberals, socialist, and unions hate it so much.
  18. That's because of your age and I presume single. You add a woman (lots of Doctor bill!) and kids and yes it is very high. That is why i use an HSA. I couldn't have made it through my wreck without it. I found out after the fact that only 3 company's cover auto accidents. Without the HSA cash I had put away I would have never made it. Cost me $70 a month for me and $190 for the family with a $5000 deductible and I can put away as little as I want into the account. Very good option for young people and families.
  19. Good post. Statistically for every store Walmart forces close, 2 more open. Walmart actually creates more "specialty" small business than they destroy. They force out inefficient business and make room for more opportunity. Like it or not they are great stimulators of small buisness.
  20. I've worked at Walmart and my family helped open the second Walmart in Harrison, AR. I've got a different opinion than the band wagon. Statistics prove otherwise, but as Twain said, "Get your facts first, then you can distort them as much as you want." I think it will follow the same model as Sears and Roebuck. No company can expand forever, eventually it will have to contract or diversify. They are trying to diversify, but time will tell.
  21. Let it go and let it be a lesson. Here is a prophetic message for you. God is showing you how much value that "Official" form has.
  22. Me thinks Mars is the googling/search master. He can find links to anything. Hope he never becomes a conspiracy nut!
