  1. I'm thinking it was mostly tongue-in-check with a little more meat and you are gladly making the mountain from the mole hill. BTW, I seem to remember this little exchange starting when you felt he called you a liberal! Fight on!
  2. You do realize the Justice Department was gutted by Clinton (just like most Pres. do) and filled with his bureaucrats, as well as the CIA, FBI, General Staff, etc. The problems Bush has had is he did not clear all the Clinton cronies out (like most Presidents do): Justice Dept., CIA, FBI, General Staff, on down. the Valerie Plame deal is a good example. My biggest gripe with Bush is he didn't clean house and now is paying for it by being undercut by his own beurocracies. As far as friendly media corps. I can start with the statistical facts of pro Bush vs. con Bush stories from the media, but i don't think the facts really matter to you. If he had so much propaganda, his approval ratings would not be where they are now. Please see my sig and follow instructions. Your talking points are tiresome.
  3. I don't think he said that was a line not to be crossed. I don't think there was a contradiction.
  4. Of course it has. "Liberals" like to think they follow the strict definition, but mainly ascribe to "a." While it feels good, it means without any formal right/wrong basis. Secular humanism is a better definition of today's "Liberals", but that doesn't work as well in politics. Kinda like the name of their political party.
  5. Technically, I'd say he is right. lib·er·al (lbr-l, lbrl)adj.1. a. Not limited to or by established, traditional, orthodox, or authoritarian attitudes, views, or dogmas; free from bigotry. b. Favoring proposals for reform, open to new ideas for progress, and tolerant of the ideas and behavior of others; broad-minded. c. Of, relating to, or characteristic of liberalism. d. Liberal Of, designating, or characteristic of a political party founded on or associated with principles of social and political liberalism, especially in Great Britain, Canada, and the United States. 2. a. Tending to give freely; generous: a liberal benefactor. b. Generous in amount; ample: a liberal serving of potatoes. 3. Not strict or literal; loose or approximate: a liberal translation. 4. Of, relating to, or based on the traditional arts and sciences of a college or university curriculum: a liberal education. 5. a. Archaic Permissible or appropriate for a person of free birth; befitting a lady or gentleman. b. Obsolete Morally unrestrained; licentious. n.1. A person with liberal ideas or opinions. 2. Liberal A member of a Liberal political party.
  6. I just acquired a 229 in a trade and so far, really like it. Your's is very nice looking BTW. Were you able to try the short trigger?
  7. I bought some Lancer AR mags and in the packaging was a warning label that said, "DO NOT HANDLE THESE MAGAZINES AND DEET!" It went on to say that it will destroy the magazines! Must be some bad stuff.
  8. History will be a better judge than the hyper emotionalism in the present. Always is.
  9. . It's more than the single digit % that believe in your lefty congress.
  10. I'm thinking he needs to use that Pysllium fiber he's got, and loosen up.
  11. In doing research for the same thing, I found #1 buckshot for home defense. It was even recommended as the best for police purposes. That being said, it was really hard to find the stuff, so I went with 00 buck.

    KELTEC choice

The trigger on the PF9 is vastly better than the P-11. Size is really indifferent IMO.
  13. I'd say if you can handle a wait, check out the K&D Dakota Defender. great price and will put the other to shame. That said, between your two go with the Crossbread. http://www.kdholsters.com/iwb-defend.php
  14. They gave them to Nazi Germany. You gotta remember to it is a huge undertaking and expense that is years in the making for the Olympics. it's not like they can pack up the tents and move in a month. Plus the IOC is a bunch of Euro liberals anyway.
  15. I sure hope it isn't the fact that they are pretty much 16 and under!:D:P
  16. Are you serious? I do like the Olympics but only the traditional sports.

    Fossil found !

Haha, that was pretty funny. Course you caould have posted this picture as well.
  18. As the scripture says, be as wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove.
  19. It's not to hard for me and I shoot about the same either hand. I too am right hand left eye dominant, so it does come in handy sometimes. My brother in law is right handed, but when he went to the police academy he struggled shooting. They suggested he switch and ended up being the best shot in his class. He is now a SWAT sniper. He didn't do a lot of shooting before then.
  20. OMG! You stole that thing! $400! HaHaHa
  21. Veprs are the cream of the AK world. Very nice. Where did you get it if I might ask?

    Arsenal AK

One of the best AKs money can buy. That being said they are a little over priced, unless you don't want to have a Saiga converted. For the same amount of money you can get a truly custom AK built to your own specks by someone like Will @ RedJacket. http://www.redstick-firearms.com/firearms2/firearms.html

    Milled AK's

They switched to milled to save money. They went to using the SKS tooling that they already had until they could get the bugs worked out of the stamped tooling. The milled receivers tend to stress fracture in the front trunion/barrel junction due to its rigidity. The stamped recievers have some give which eliminate the stess, thus more reliable while sacrificing a little accuracy.
