  1. It was this and for $17.99! I got one! http://www.crkt.com/hug.html
  2. I think alcohol was the least of the inappropriate things the owner/manager turned a blind eye too. :bowrofl:
  3. At that age it doesn't have much value. It's kinda garage sale price time at this point. BTW, what model/style is it? I was in KHS's Grassroots Racing Program in college.
  4. AHHHHHH, a Voldemort sighting! I think he had a wagon full of self published HCP books, though. Leave it up to Mike to drag the banned from obscurity. I wonder who's next.
  5. It's guys like that, that screw up the stats which make it hard to convince my wife they are safe! The shirt is appropriate.
  6. That just reminded me, I've got the rails to go on the Tapco Galil hand guards you can have if you want. They may just be the ticket.
  7. If the ladies are back (since kids are in school now!) they can give you their opinions, but I'd say something full size in 9mm. The .380's are generally going to be smaller frames, so recoil will be similar to a full size 9mm and it is a little underpowered. I'd also look at something with changeable back straps, so she could fit it better. M&P, PX4, Glock 17 or 19, and maybe a Bersa .380.
  8. as mentioned above maybe you could put a 2" weaver rail on the bottom with a stud adapter on it. course you could always put "real" ak handguards/gas tube on it and problem solved.
  9. Especially the trap they set on Briley/Thompson LN at the Murfeesboro rd. S. exit! Usually two motorcycle cops. One with a radar and one standing in the right lane flagging them over. They usually get 4 or 5 at a time.
  10. Not if it is made for a light. I would go for the light/laser combo if you just have to have a laser. Every one I have ever seen at the range looked like the laser was jumping all over the place and pretty inacurate. Waking up in the middle of the night, I can't see how you'd be steady enough to be any good. Of course with the dot jumping all around, the BG may think there is more than one gun on him!
  11. Goergia........ No wonder Russia invaded!
  12. Not my work, but pretty good. I'll have to e-mail it to you. http://www.chuckhawks.com/subscribers/tables_charts_lists_page/personal_defense_handgun_cartridge.htm
  13. Dems always lead this early in the polls. They start dropping and getting closer as elections and issues come to the fore front.
  14. Yeah, even my wife said she wished they would wear more flattering swimsuits!
  15. I think the Tru-Dots have white rings and the other's don't.

Yep, Armscor.http://www.armscor.com.ph/products.htm very good reputation BTW. the only knock will come from the custom guys who paid a lot more for there "name" brands.
  17. Trijicon makes all the tritium vials for Mepro and some of the others. So longevity and durability are all the same. I like the Mepro's better due to design.
  18. ........... and third parties only want the other two's power, since we are being cynical and demeaning. You can't say everyone else is misguided in saying everyone else is misguided. Circular argument. As far as conservatives go; there are some good Republicans, there are some bad, there are some good libertarians, there are some bad. the difference is where they fall in the spectrum, but the ideology is/should be the same root. Liberals? well, i disagree fundamentally with their ideology basis so I can't really agree with much, if any, of their platform. Don't hate them, just think they are wrong. Bottom line is people need to know why they believe in what they believe (not by feeling, mind you). Then they can reasonably debate. IMO, most folks don't really know their basis for belief. It usually stems from parents, culture, media, just about anything. Not that those are necessarily bad, but they don't really challenge or think things through themselves. When they encounter something they can't easily rectify they default to "how i feel" about the issue. That is where most of us screw up. It is an exercise in diligence and perseverance that most folks are to lazy to push through.
  19. The Rivergate store is also posted in the same way. It is in the database. It is kinda odd that they make that statement in the way they have. It is rather large and obvious and not conjoined with any other regulations.
  20. Carter maybe? Facts not feelings.
  21. Just missed it http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10758
  22. You will find anything away from the Memphis area will be quite a few notches up (I lived there for 16 yrs.)! I really like Nashville. You have everything you want and can get rural real quick.
  23. Excellent psychoanalysis! I concur........ Now where is my bag?
  24. Mine is DAO. Heavy but smooth. I may use the short trigger and a reduced hammer spring to get the pull down.
