    What a prayer

very nice. I'm amazed that anyone could have disagreed with it, but that is where we are.
  2. Yes, unless they make it to where you can't sell them. The new wording includes that. Value would definitely go up, but it would mean nothing. Then and if it is lifted they would spike for awhile then normalize out because the number on the market never changed. That's why it is so tricky. You may have a gold mine or a bunch of less than scrap metal.
  3. As far as investment, the market has better returns over equivalent periods. Trying to guess which one going to be that rare gem is tough and not near the science the market is. There are just too many factors that depend on foreign production. I would never want to speculate on Russian or former Soviet Block countries production! They couldn't even get it right under communist run factories!
  4. Even the semi-custom/custom jobs from likes of say, Intense, Ellsworth, etc. that cost 2-5k, will drop about 1/4 value a year.
  5. If it looks really good, no rust, I'd start at $100 and try to hard sell it. If that didn't work, you'll just have to work down till someone will take it. If the person knows bikes, you may have to give it away. If you get someone who knows names but doesn't know there have been about 20 revisions of those Shimano parts, maybe you can talk them into it.
  6. You speculators are going to jack up the price if you start buying it all up! Let me buy it all and then sell it to you!
  7. Here is a related story, of course it's not presumptive at all! http://www.thedenverchannel.com/news/16804470/detail.html
  8. 160 serving overseas? That's a pretty small percentage. I would be willing to bet that most guys are sending their hazard pay to their families and not some politician. The votes will truly reflect the true military will. That is unless the Dems try another Florida trick and try to get them disallowed. Talk about disenfranchisement. That still gets my ire up.
  9. Still not as bad as the lady who killed her 2 mo. old in the microwave! I'll try to find the story. What's wrong with these people. http://www.startribune.com/nation/26829449.html http://news.cincinnati.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080812/NEWS0107/308120039 http://www.click2houston.com/news/13329125/detail.html

    AR-15 Q

Those are questions that can't be answered that briefly. I would say go over to arf.com and just do some research. My personal suggestion is to go to Guns & Leather and let them show you as they explain it. All the options are personal and objective anyway.
  11. It was this and for $17.99! I got one! http://www.crkt.com/hug.html
  12. I think alcohol was the least of the inappropriate things the owner/manager turned a blind eye too. :bowrofl:
  13. At that age it doesn't have much value. It's kinda garage sale price time at this point. BTW, what model/style is it? I was in KHS's Grassroots Racing Program in college.
  14. AHHHHHH, a Voldemort sighting! I think he had a wagon full of self published HCP books, though. Leave it up to Mike to drag the banned from obscurity. I wonder who's next.
  15. It's guys like that, that screw up the stats which make it hard to convince my wife they are safe! The shirt is appropriate.
  16. That just reminded me, I've got the rails to go on the Tapco Galil hand guards you can have if you want. They may just be the ticket.
  17. If the ladies are back (since kids are in school now!) they can give you their opinions, but I'd say something full size in 9mm. The .380's are generally going to be smaller frames, so recoil will be similar to a full size 9mm and it is a little underpowered. I'd also look at something with changeable back straps, so she could fit it better. M&P, PX4, Glock 17 or 19, and maybe a Bersa .380.
  18. as mentioned above maybe you could put a 2" weaver rail on the bottom with a stud adapter on it. course you could always put "real" ak handguards/gas tube on it and problem solved.
  19. Especially the trap they set on Briley/Thompson LN at the Murfeesboro rd. S. exit! Usually two motorcycle cops. One with a radar and one standing in the right lane flagging them over. They usually get 4 or 5 at a time.
  20. Not if it is made for a light. I would go for the light/laser combo if you just have to have a laser. Every one I have ever seen at the range looked like the laser was jumping all over the place and pretty inacurate. Waking up in the middle of the night, I can't see how you'd be steady enough to be any good. Of course with the dot jumping all around, the BG may think there is more than one gun on him!
  21. Goergia........ No wonder Russia invaded!
  22. Not my work, but pretty good. I'll have to e-mail it to you. http://www.chuckhawks.com/subscribers/tables_charts_lists_page/personal_defense_handgun_cartridge.htm
  23. Dems always lead this early in the polls. They start dropping and getting closer as elections and issues come to the fore front.
  24. Yeah, even my wife said she wished they would wear more flattering swimsuits!
  25. I think the Tru-Dots have white rings and the other's don't.
