I am now drinking the GLOCK 19 koolaid. Picked it up from East Side today. I finally gave into parts availability, light weight, size, and accessories. there are still guns I like better, but I find myself going more utilitarian and practical these days. Yup they are importers. The bring in some nice stuff. The Tangfolio's are nice and they bring in the Saiga's.

For IWB you will need pants a size larger. Some need more, but that is the deal with IWB. You will find that however you carry, you will have to pay attention to your clothing. Some things will work and other things won't. Just like a holster you will have to try a lot of different options till you find what works for you. Whatever you decide you will need a good gun belt. It will make a huge differnce in how a holster fits.

They are the same. FN makes them both. The difference is you have to pay extra to have Browning on the slide.

Nothing wrong with it. Just some guys need to compensate by having everything else in their lives the biggest they can get. Last I checked , stops by 9mm are almost identical to .45 etc. Ball ammo is the differrence. In that case the .50 GI is the best.

In 9mm some +p/+p+ gives .357 Sig performance. That is about the only advantage if that matters.

+p is a hotter load than regular pressured ammo. +p+ is a higher pressure (hotter) than +p. It will give you more velocity than the normal load. There are benefits and negatives as to these loads. I'm sure there are other who can give you more detailed scientific data on the differences.

I want a Walther P99 9mm in black that doesn't cost an arm and a leg and mags that are reasonable in price as well. Sure seem to be hard to find. I'd also like to find one of the elusive FNP9 SAO. I could also go for a FNP striker fired design.

The irony is the Palin's are taking "their (Libs) issue" and showing how to handle it with morality, dignity, and family support. All the things they say don't work! It cast Billary's feminism and Obama's village mentality in direct contrast to traditional family values when faced with these difficult choices. Plus it makes Palin even more everywoman, which is exactly what Obama needed to avoided. Unfortunate for sure and shouldn't have happened, but what you do with the consequences of your choices is more important sometimes in the grand scheme. It also makes the Dems look very petty and politically low brow . Let the implosion begin!

Yeah, I was answering the thread question and not the title! I've actually been secretly planning on a G19 and have been pricing them a lot on a bunch of forums. It is pretty in line just for the gun and with the light pretty good.
