  1. There was an article in one of the mags (can't remember which one) about it and they said it was a good product for competition type barrels and overkill for normal shooting. It is basically bullets that act in various grits to polish out a new barrel. Interesting concept.
  2. I know when I had my motorcycle wreck the Baptist security guard offered to let me keep my gun with me or he said he could take it to the office. I don't know about signage, but I though it was pretty decent of them. BTW - I notified them (the police officer didn't say anything about it) it was in my bag and none of the nurses or doctors acted weird in anyway. In fact it was almost like ok, so what?
  3. Playing devils advocate, I think that was because you said you wife could shoot 1 MOA at 800 yrds or something to that effect. I think i was one of the first to bang heads with him, but as is the case most of the time we let things go and moved on.
  4. For hunting I'm gonna be using 154g SP. The HP and all the rest are made to not expand. Typically a bad thing on CPX2 animals.
  5. Everything is cause and effect. When you try to inject socialism into a free market these things happen. The price of houses jumped when there where more people than houses to go around. there were more people able to buy houses because congress (going all the way back to Jimmy Carter) forced the mortgage companies to loan to these people. They made the loans but used "appropriate" interest rates to cover their tales. When the companies realized they could use congress to regulate out competition by cost prohibitive restrictions and congress realized they could get kick backs by working with them to regulate the companies competition, then you have our current problem. The companies can be corrected through a truly free market (big time reform=less fed and regulations). congress can only be corrected by having a less efficient legislature. By that i mean term limits. They know how to play the game too well. we need people who only know the rules and get termed out before they learn all the loop holes.

Usually they under promise and over perform. Most I've heard from say that a 5-6 week quote is usually less than 2 weeks.
  7. Umm.... while we are at it, I'm missing about 5000 from my post count!
  8. You also forgot to mention he takes every opportunity to make homosexual references in every thread. I really don't understand that guy.
  9. Could you change the online color back to green? It was a lot easier to see than the orange.
  10. +1. All my concerns are relieved. You may carry on now.
  11. I guess these morons have never seen what happens to an utter that doesn't get milked! I've had to pop more than a few in my days on the farm. BTW - i am talking about cows here!

Trigger Shoe. Yes they work very well. I did find that you need a little glue or locktite in conjunction with the set screw to hold in place.
  13. Am I missing something? I don't get what your upset about??? One picture shows an old run down bridge and the other has a sign. What's your point?
  14. That is just awful. I hope they get everything from them. Truck , guns, boats, dogs, .....
  15. Now that is a rifle! Very nice. Why the Serb cross? Was it requested or there to begin with? i like it.
  16. What's humorous to me, is that Andrew J. Bacevich and liberals probably think this a a piece of shear genius! It's a good try, but what he failed to note is the reason the Republicans have suffered as of late is that the conservative movement has finally gained the ability to cause electoral pain on Rino's. The ousting of the Dem's in congress as well as the ousting of Rep's is a sign that conservatives are at a peak of influence as opposed to struggling as the libs like to try and spin.
  17. I was just about to post a "where has Mar's been" coupled with a Glock joke when i saw this. He was a great guy and I thoroughly enjoyed our religion banter. While i never met him, I enjoyed him here immensely. He will be missed.

Had similar issue and discovered it was mostly due to fatigue in my grip towards the end of my range sessions. I usually never had an issue until I got tired.

    9mm conversions

Correct you MUST get a CONVERSION barrel due to different fitting requirements. Other than that it's pretty easy. As for the Glock, Lone Wolf makes a good economical barrel. It not a match Barsto, Jarvis, KKM, but iot also only cost $100 as opposed to $200+. http://www.lonewolfdist.com/Detail.aspx?PROD=4279
  20. Sportsmanguide has some good looking ones for a decent price. http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/cb.aspx?a=406459
  21. Market correction. The gov't is just trying to spread out the pain. We had exponential growth, historic/record stock market highs more months, unemployment at record levels. You can't grow at these rates indefinitely. There was bound to be an ebb and ths is it. Don't get panicked it is just market correction.
  22. Yeah its a repost but I like seeing him pull the shotgun out!
  23. I got to shoot one of the late ETS, Inc. AOW 12's and while a lot of fun it was kinda hard to shoot at first. Definitely a learning curve. You will enjoy.
