  1. I did debate the Maxpedition bag for this purpose.
  2. That's about as bad as these.
  3. The difficulty is you can't prove or disprove a negative. In other words you can't assume an armed persons confrontation with an intruder would have led to a one sided aggressive/deadly encounter. Most gun owners encounters are uneventful (we argue due to being armed) and so never become a statistic. Most of gun owner stats come from the places where gun ownership is restricted and violent crime rises in parallel stats.
  4. I love the Zem headset. You can hear (pretty good at least) casual conversation and they deaden to 32db. Plus they are affordable. Buy them here. http://www.pistolgear.com/products.php?id=31 Here is their website. http://www.sensgard.com/
  5. They are an excellent choice. You will find many go there for their HCP class, as I did. I highly recommend them.
  6. Had the same question and heres what I got. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2632&highlight=combat+hearing+loss
  7. http://tsfiles.wordpress.com/2008/09/21/bush-called-for-reform-of-fannie-mae-freddie-mac-17-times-in-2008-alone/ Here's a pretty concise one.
  8. You do know that corporations predominately support Dems, right? or do the talking points "feel" better to you. BTW Bush urged congress to fix the mortgage problem since he has been in office. On 22 separate occasion going back to 2002, he requested reform for this particular buisness section in teh economy. Anger is fine when it is placed appropriatley. This is a congressioal problem. They wanted these loans made, they made the regualtion, they had comlete oversight, they blew it. This is not a Presidential issue.
  9. It's real simple. Almost anyplace that teaches HCP classes will also do armed guard. Most of them attend the same class as most of the requirements overlap. The shooting requirements are a little more stringent and there is a little more paperwork.
  10. There was an article in one of the mags (can't remember which one) about it and they said it was a good product for competition type barrels and overkill for normal shooting. It is basically bullets that act in various grits to polish out a new barrel. Interesting concept.
  11. I know when I had my motorcycle wreck the Baptist security guard offered to let me keep my gun with me or he said he could take it to the office. I don't know about signage, but I though it was pretty decent of them. BTW - I notified them (the police officer didn't say anything about it) it was in my bag and none of the nurses or doctors acted weird in anyway. In fact it was almost like ok, so what?
  12. Playing devils advocate, I think that was because you said you wife could shoot 1 MOA at 800 yrds or something to that effect. I think i was one of the first to bang heads with him, but as is the case most of the time we let things go and moved on.
  13. For hunting I'm gonna be using 154g SP. The HP and all the rest are made to not expand. Typically a bad thing on CPX2 animals.
  14. Everything is cause and effect. When you try to inject socialism into a free market these things happen. The price of houses jumped when there where more people than houses to go around. there were more people able to buy houses because congress (going all the way back to Jimmy Carter) forced the mortgage companies to loan to these people. They made the loans but used "appropriate" interest rates to cover their tales. When the companies realized they could use congress to regulate out competition by cost prohibitive restrictions and congress realized they could get kick backs by working with them to regulate the companies competition, then you have our current problem. The companies can be corrected through a truly free market (big time reform=less fed and regulations). congress can only be corrected by having a less efficient legislature. By that i mean term limits. They know how to play the game too well. we need people who only know the rules and get termed out before they learn all the loop holes.

Usually they under promise and over perform. Most I've heard from say that a 5-6 week quote is usually less than 2 weeks.
  16. Umm.... while we are at it, I'm missing about 5000 from my post count!
  17. I like it, I like it a lot!
  18. You also forgot to mention he takes every opportunity to make homosexual references in every thread. I really don't understand that guy.
  19. Could you change the online color back to green? It was a lot easier to see than the orange.
  20. +1. All my concerns are relieved. You may carry on now.
  21. I guess these morons have never seen what happens to an utter that doesn't get milked! I've had to pop more than a few in my days on the farm. BTW - i am talking about cows here!

Trigger Shoe. Yes they work very well. I did find that you need a little glue or locktite in conjunction with the set screw to hold in place.
  23. Am I missing something? I don't get what your upset about??? One picture shows an old run down bridge and the other has a sign. What's your point?
  24. That is just awful. I hope they get everything from them. Truck , guns, boats, dogs, .....
