what about a cheap ($5) windproof/waterproof refillable lighter? Are they worth it or just something that will get lost quicker than a bic?

I also can't see any benefits to a paddle for OWB conceal carry. I have never had one that rides tight and they tend to move. Now for open carry they would be just fine.

Be careful with that. I did a few times and then the last time they opened it to make sure there wasn't any oil and I got a call a little later to come get it. They were very nice and accommodating. It didn't have the barrel included as it was going for a trigger job, so it wasn't violaing the letter of their policy only the essence.

DM Bullard Dual Carry My new holster for my M&P9 came today! Ordering was very easy and shipping very fast. I kept hearing OS talking about these and he wasn't wrong. Very nice holster and it is very comfortable. Converting the clips isn't the most ideal, but still works decently in the different modes. I will probably end up getting a dedicated OWB and make this my primary IWB. All in all very pleased. I have had a K&D Dakota Defender, C-TAC, Infidel, Hoffner's, RafterS, and an assortment of others. I would rate the DM Bullard just behind the K&D. Why so angry about what others believe while admonishing us to be open minded? I just don't understand inconsistency. Patriotism by it nature is incumbent on a collective of others. If the majority of other believe one way, you don't get to redefine the terms of understanding as the minority. Patriotism is an understanding of common support among the majority.

Whats the best source for immediate flame. Lighter, windproof lighter, magnesium, tinder in a can etc. for quick and mobile always ready fire.

I get that, but for me I like knowing that they are supporting MY 2a rights ever time I use them for gun and gun related purchases!

Problem is is that the two carriers have additional policies that are more stringent than the ATF rules. This is what causes a lot of difficulty at the counter. I have even had an argument with the legal department of Fedex that said I could not ship FTF in state even though ATF and their own policy allows it. Most counter folks are OK with shipping to a FFL but get all confused on in state FTF. All though the lady I spoke with was very nice and agreed that what the legal dept. was telling her contradicted their policy, she said her hands were tied. I went back the next day and didn't tell them anything. I had printed the shipping label and sat it on the counter and said thank you. Was that ok, probably not, but it wasn't worth another two hours in debating company policy.

I've found this out the hard way as well. Who do you use, if you don't mind me asking? Mostly I've bought from Del-ton, BravoCo, and GTS.

If it isn't declared and no other markings, how would it be caught down the line after the initial scan in? I'm not familiar with how the carriers inner workings go.

They allow it but you have to show paperwork as stated earlier.
