  1. I am in the same boat and I went with OC spray. My brother-in-law got some from his department and gave them to all the ladies in the family. Good strong stuff. I added a little pink carrier thing and she likes it. I just can't see my wife using a baton or stun gun/tazer effectively and she definitely doesn't care to train like she would need to.

    Ruger SR 9 upgrades?

When I was choosing between the SR9 and the M&P I discovered there wasn't much out there in the way of aftermarket upgrades/accessories for the SR9. The trigger also needed some work and I couldn't find much on it. That's why i went with the M&P. I'm sure there will be some but like any new gun it will take a year or two or more for those kinda things to get to the market. You can also try a search here. http://www.rugerforum.com/phpBB/
  3. What I don't get about the NASCAR jacket thing is that Jeff Gordon seems to very popular in the hood. I mean I like Gordon and all but he's like the whitest, furthest from the hood NASCAR driver there is. and I bet brother's in the hood wouldn't take too fondly of being called Rainbow Warriors!
  4. Do note how they completely "misrepresent" the Tiahrt Amendment. from Wikipedia:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Todd_Tiahrt
  5. of course they probably saw a report on Nightline, so it is true!
  6. an excerpt from his "Urban Policy" agenda: I have highlighted the interesting points. Nothing surprising just from the horses mouth or the asses rear - which ever you prefer. http://change.gov/agenda/urbanpolicy_agenda/

    My AR Build

I've got the DT middy and they are supposed to be more reliable due to less pressue issues. They don't have the grenade launcher cut and handguards are a little more difficult to find. Just know that Del-Ton is WAY backed up and their website says 8-16 weeks to process. I would guess closer to 16 weeks to get the upper. They actually build theirs. With that being said they have always underpromised and over delivered on every order I have ever had with them. here's mine on a Sabre lower ad YHM Phantom 5c FH. I have since added a YHM flip front sight/gas block
  8. Have you looked over on the M&P forum? There is a current thread with this very topic. http://mp-pistol.com/boards/index.php?showtopic=17899 You can also find all your options here. http://www.mp-store.com/index.php?cPath=31&osCsid=3391022afe9be75bfd1e08fdfe853e81
  9. I've heard good things about the MTAC and have had a CTAC. I found with my CTAC I had to do a little Dremel work to shape and reduce some corners and edges to get it comfortable. Once i did that it was awesome. I was using it with a fullsize XD9 with no problems and great results.
  10. For all the reasons above and the fact you can't get glass yet....1911!

    Kel tec pf9

As everyone has said the PF9 is as thin as it gets. It will make the Bersa and G23 feel like full size guns. I had one and will get another one as they are great for what they are. You can do the same thing with a Kahr, but you will pay about $200-$300 more for it. You also need to take KT's customer service and warranty into account with the PF9. If anything ever goes wrong with it, KT will make it right quickly. +10 on the PF9!
  12. Yeah I wasn't knocking HG's price. I was trying to say that they are going for $18-$19 on-line, but then you have to add shipping which puts them above HG. Aim just happened to be moving them at the time with free shipping.
  13. That wasn't the problem. I did start getting them again today. I'll just chalk it up to move issues.
  14. Got a bunch of these from AIMsurplus.com for $19 (with shipping) and they are well worth it. Great mags.

    500.00 limit

Centerfire has them at $399 atm. Not bad.
  16. You do realize that nearly all guns are military in origin? Heck even most bolt actions are based on Mausers and the like. The question is, what is it you need protection from? The answer to that will determine what guns you "need". Personally deer are not my biggest threat! Your logic and reasoning is like a man who says he is a devote God fearing Christian, but doesn't believe in God.

    11% off

Great offer ...quick question, why 11%? Just struck me as an odd number.
  18. NICE! The Lage is pretty sweet and that 56 rnd mag is hilarious! Enjoy!
  19. Love the story hate Tom Cruise. I don't know if I buy him in that role. I may wait to rent it.
  20. Is it only illegal if it is mounted as a scope or in general?
  21. Happy Birthday. I turned 30 in November. Funny thing is I truly thought I was turning 28! That's what a few kids will do to your time and mind!
  22. You would be correct. It reminds me of the transition the Southland Mall and Mall of Memphis in Memphis went through. You almost expected to see Mad Max working security!
